Why does everyone hate JoJo Siwa? Is this the downfall of JoJo Siwa? From child star to adult, her new “edgy” rebrand has confused the masses, while some claim it’s a cover-up for the dark and disturbing allegations against JoJo Siwa. From child fame to alleged crimes, JoJo Siwa’s story is as messy as it is unsettling. Was she used? Was this the plan all along? Who is to blame? And what is next for JoJo Siwa?

Take care, queen 👸💖
Yes please make a swoop doc about abby lee miller and dance moms id love that
Thank you Queen ❤👑
I live for your docs. You’re fucking incredible at what you do.
This is incredible, I'dobe to see what you have on Abby Lee Miller😮
imagine flopping SO hard that you accidentally revive someone else's career again
Might even revive my music career too hahaha
@PettyUniversity you would have had to have flopped in the 1st place, and you stay killing it!
Karma’s a bitch 🤷♀️😂
I've shamelessly listened to the other version SEVERAL times LMAO. You are so right.
😅😅😅
The real villain in her life is her mom. Not Abby, not Colleen, her mom.
Bleaching a 2 year olds hair, forcing her to perform, being her manager and financially supporting the family with the money a child was earning.
Not to mention Jess woke JoJo up when she was two and made JoJo perform her solos for Jess’s friends past JoJo’s bedtime. Also, that Jess as a dance studio owner made JoJo wear tutus and bows even though JoJo wanted to do other things, or that Jess made JoJo perform while her feet were bleeding.
@@moonwalkerangel7008 or that Gaga HAS talent, JoJo has never had anything close to talent
@@brendamitchell8234Oh I do agree with you, Lady Gaga does have talent, I was pointing out some of the ways Jess treated JoJo as a child and how Jess was just as exploitative as Abby to her own daughter as well as the XOMGPOP girls.
100% and it feels safe to call it child labor
Absolutely
The best meme in the world would be Gene Simmons all dressed up in JoJos tacky rainbow Walmart gear saying JoJo siwa who? I've never heard of her
I had a brain fart for a second and pictured Richard Simmons instead of Gene Simmons in tacky JoJo gear at first 😂😂😂😂
@@christinadavelaar6965 that would be almost as awesome
If a two-year-old wants to dance for some cute function, fine. But to be made to walk like some provocative cartoon character in front of a bunch of strangers, dressed in an outfit that draws attention to certain areas, while being JUDGED against other potty-training, diaper-transitioning, innocent children?? Eff that.
Jojo saying she created the new genre of “gay pop” was so fucking ignorant and disrespectful to the queer artists in the 70’s that paved the way for her.
Fr so disrespectful and she's so ungrateful

I always appreciate Swoop's encouraging words ..it puts things way more in perspective & it's genuine in a time where so much isn't . Thanks for your comment, take care .❤
I have EDS (Ehlers-Danlos syndrome) that started to cause me severe chronic pain issues in my early twenties, including back issues. It's always so nice to hear encouragement in a story like this, especially from people who are also performers/artists.
@xXx_Nikki_Slaughter_xXx I have POTS, Fibro, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It really sucks. I have great empathy for you. I hope you’re having a good day. 🫶🏻
And here is another one with EDS, POTS, fibromyalgia and other shitty conditions. Take care, everyone ❤
When your child says they don't want to do it anymore and you force them to do it then it becomes exploitation
I am completely on your side, my only caveat is, if it's to make sure it's not a today problem and to teach accountability. As a teen I regularly wanted to quit orchestra because I was a teenager and did not feel like it. But I made a commitment and the money was spend so I had to do it till summer break and I was so happy I did and signed up again after summer.
On the other hand when we got a new choir instructor whom I disliked from the first day (her music taste was horrible) it was a few weeks till summer and I made the same deal with my mom. I made a commitment and if I still wanted to quit in a few weeks when summer starts I could, which I did. If I would have disliked her for a good reason and not just her taste I could have quit immediately. That I know because in a different choir I got screamed at by the teacher and came home and told my mom I'm quitting because of it and she was absolutely fine it.
So believe the child but also teach responsibility and dead lines, but honour them and don't move the goal post!
I mean honestly its exploitation well before that because some kids will be exploited and never say a word but I do agree if your kid says that and you keep going you are undeniably hard exploiting your kid
JoJo literally having a bizarre adventure.
Please don't taint the Joestar name like that.
You did not! I love this comment 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
LOL 😂
I understood that reference.
The bad thing of this situation is that the cringy rebranding is working, the internet is talking about “oh, Jojo Siwa is cringy” instead of the victims of abuse under her name.
She talks about how this is working how she wanted it to in her interview with Alex Cooper on CHD
I mean i think you're giving them a little too much credit haha. I think they're genuinely trying to pull the child star rebrand playbook. And it seems like her team is bad lol.i really don't think they're playing 3d chess lol
More like Jojo Siwa is creepy
@@t_ylryeah, I too do think that this was supposed to be a genuine rebrand but they saw that people weren’t taking her seriously. So, now that need to try and act like this was a planned moved.
I mean… maybe it’s just the corner of RUclips I’m in, but pretty much every video I’ve seen is “Jojo is cringey… and what that’s covering up for is even darker” Nearly every single one at least mentions the abuse allegations, they just vary on what percentage of blame they give to Jojo vs her mother. 🤷🏼♀️
I really needed that side bar. I was recently diagnosed with Fibromialga on top of a spine injury. My whole life I was told that if I just tried harder then everything would be better. It was like chasing a rainbow, a beautiful dream that always just out of reach. It's been so hard to forgive myself for not being able to live that dream
Jojo saying that the style of abusive teaching is how dance teaching is supposed to be…. As a dance teacher it is absolutely fking not! Do you know how many hours I spent learning the anatomy of the body, the different methods of teaching, choreographing my own projects, etc.? None of that tells me that screaming insults or depriving water from my students is good teaching.
I kind of figured that the fake, boot camp version of teaching dance was just a typical, IQ lowering ruse of reality TV programming.
I'm sure there are many people in your community that find this rhetoric just as insulting as you do. It's both unfortunate and nauseating.
Not sure if my reply posted so I'll keep this one short.
Her perceptions I'm sure are insulting for people who teach dance such as yourself and equally nauseating for anyone with an ounce of integrity.
Really makes me question how her mother behaved as a dance teacher, if Jojo believes this is just how dance teachers are :/
A doc on Abby Lee Miller? I know I might end up hospitalized due to a stroke, but I'll definitely watch anyway. How that woman - and the parents who co-signed everything - treated children was rage inducing
Yes! We need this one too!
💯
And when she said "I'm attracted to HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYERS" Like how has more people not called her out on that. Even the interviewer was shook and ended it immediately.
They literally let her get away with so much insane things, the one that should have immediately got her put in jail was when she kissed Maddie on her lips because she didn’t want to have her first kiss during a dance and it was awkward to have all these adults screaming at her to kiss a little boy they brought in for that dance so she was nervous.
Agreed! A whole series on each parent and Abby!
Yes please release the Dance Moms Doc!! I always felt so bad for the kids because every single episode, one if not multiple little kids, were being emotionally abused.
its even worse looking at the production notes, MackZBoss is a youtuber who tries to demystify and uncover a lot of the production secrets of dance moms and looking at the production notes shows how much they cut from the show, just to make abby appear more favourable is genuinely shocking, esp. with how badly she comes across anyway
just here to comment would also like to see the dance moms doc!!
Sad part is there parents allowed it.
Always explotative. Until the human can understand there are others beyond themselves, they should not be used as a prop.
I’ve never seen dance moms, ewww factor implied in the Title 🤢 But I am willing to learn from Swoop 👍
Swoop just casually dropping in the middle of a doc that on top of being a thorough, nuanced documentarian she is also a musical & performing artist who literally built herself from the ground up .. ma'am, you're who I want to be when I grow up. :o Really hope she feels ready to return to the stage soon, without a doubt she's been greatly missed.
I dont think jojo not writing “Karma” was the issue, to me it was that she LIED and said she wrote it.
it would not have mattered this much if she had just said she vibed with it, instead of trying to take full credit

Lady gaga copied everything 😂
I don't think she's capable of admitting she was exploited because she literally has no idea what a normal, healthy childhood looks like. She was surrounded by kids who went through the same trials she did and parents who were all in on it. As Swoop said, she's a product. Products are rebranded as "new" and "different" all the time even when the exact same product existed previously. This is no different. Character histories are retconned all the time in TV, movies, and comics; Jojo is being treated the same way. What we're seeing *is* the authentic Jojo. When the fame train eventually stops, she's going to fall apart because she's been trained to be a marketing machine to sell exactly 1 product; herself.
Wow you explained it perfectly. I couldn't describe what I was feeling about these new celebrities like there is something very disturbing and unnatural about it. It's because they're like a product, they are advertised like a product, people talk about them like a product, when they talk about themselves they talk as if they're a product, advertising themselves. Not like a celebrity. Nothing to add here.
I think you make an excellent point. Jojo's behavior isn't great, and she SHOULD know better, but with how she was raised, how could she? I think the real villains are the adults that guided her on this path, her mother, Abby or whatever her name is from that Dance show, and everyone else not letting her experience the world outside this showbiz/consumerism bubble.
You most definitely have to put a lot of blame on her mother. Look at all the other girls that grew up with her. Majority of them stepped back from the fame and pressure. Jojo is the only one from that show who's mother continued to push her harder for her brand, while you have Nia, Maddie, Mackenzie etc still working under fame but not to this extreme.
@@ang8491 Yeap, her mother is a menace. But, then again, so are all the other adults in her life. Why do people think that SHE thinks it's normal for HER to hang out with adults when she was just a kid? Why do people think that SHE thinks it's normal for adults to act inappropriately towards children? It's because the adults in HER life has made it clear that it IS _"normal"._
Everything that she's learned, from the moment she was born, is so very, very wrong. I hope she'll seek out _(and find)_ some serious help someday, because she is broken. *Deeply and profoundly broken.* I hope she breaks free from all the horrific people in her life that has turned her into this product, this HORRIBLE product. She seems, and probably IS, emotionally stunted and that's something that can't be healed - not fully. My own emotional growth was stunted when I went through several really violent and traumatic r-pes and other physical and mental abuse when I was a teenager, and it's taken until now, when I am 34 years old and have gone through 2 sessions *every* week for 4 years straight with a psychologist, to make me somewhat emotionally mature. I still have a long way to go, but I'm getting there. I see much of my _"old"_ self in Jojo's ways to express herself _(my EMOTIONAL self, not anything else, she and I are polar oposites)._ She turns 21 any day now, but she acts like a 12-14 year old. That could very well be a trauma response, OR it may be because she never needed to evolve further because everyone's always been catering to her needs. If you ask me personally, I believe it's a bit of both in her case. Though *by far* the biggest thing, and what I hope most of all for her, is that after she's gone through some HARD therapy and some *serious* introspection, she'll realize how SHE herself also have perpetuated this atmosphere and cycle of abuse and then tries her FUCKING BEST to make amends, because that's really all she can do.
Her mother and a lot of other adults in her life should be in prison.
Yeah see this is why I have a hard time with it. It takes a long time to break free from grooming and when you do you realize you don't have an identity... it's hard for me to say she's abusive because that's literally all she knows. She really thought that everyone was treated that way and that people who weren't treated that way are probably weak and coddled. And it's what you have to tell yourself to survive or you'd unalive yourself...
Jojo Siwa claiming she created the genre "gay-pop" is on the same level of self-entitlement and ignorance as Jennifer Lawrence when she claimed that there weren't any strong female role models before her.
It's always good to hear you giving props and really uplifting anyone that deals with chronic pain and chronic illness. I was born with a bone deformity in my legs and I've developed a couple other chronic disorders over time, especially in my late twenties making me completely disabled and some days I can't even get out of bed, but it's always good to hear someone respecting that and that others are going through that. Just from my day to day pain and exhaustion, everyone that goes through this stuff and manages to do anything, for me it's writing, you absolutely deserve to celebrate every accomplishment even the small ones.
I feel as if people shouldn't hate her cause she doesn't have good music or she dances badly, But because she simply isn't that good of a person and keeps terrible company.
I wasn't a fan, but I knew tons of younger people who were and I was wishing her the best in her career. She seemed like a decent rolemodel. Then there was just a landslide of character issues coming out and I became someone who actively disliked her.
I just don't care about her. But with all of the above, she can fade away to irrelevancy and forgotten at any time
I can do both! I despise people who butcher the art of music!
I think.. that's exactly why people hate her. She's a trash dumpster fire of a person and it shows.
Yes, but with all of the information coming out about child stars and the emotional, psychological, and sexual abuse and manipulation that comes along with it... Yes, she's responsible for her mental well-being and recovery *now,* but she probably wasn't born a monster. She was made one.
For Jojo to publicly admit that she was exploited as a child, it would mean that she would have to reconsider her relationship with her own mother.
Seeing how close they are and how much power her mother has over Jojo's career and life in general, well, I don't see that happening any time soon.
She can't even stop to process what has happened to her
Exactly! It's giving Jennette-McCurdy-and-her-mom vibes
Yeah. Like, I hold some serious hatred for Rosario Dawson backing her abusive, violent monster-of-a-landlord mother at age _forty_ but Jojo is only 20. She has time, and deserves time, in my opinion, to process the fact she's in a hierarchy of abuse before I do more than condemn specific actions and pan her character broadly. If she never gets there, I'll hold it against her a few years down the line the way I do Dawson, but for the meanwhile... I just hope she gets herself sorted before she does something truly unforgivable
She was exploited by more than just her mama
@@MsTequili I was thinking the same thing.
Pretty much that is what I think, too. If I were in her spot and I did stop to consider all that, I would probably lose it completely.

Hi from Germany. I can't really remember, how I initially got here. However, I keep on coming back because it is so 🫨🫠🤣🥲🫣😱🧐😵 to see how (social) media characters / influencers are so different yet exactly the same as here in Europe
I think JoJo with the Bow-bow is a prime example of what happens when a child doesn’t get socialized with other children. As an adult, she’s not relatable. She’s a product on a Walmart shelf. She’s just a marketing tool …a tool. It’s too bad her mother didn’t care about her as much as she did her bank account.
Agree, I know she’s an adult now and responsible for her actions.. but I can’t help but feel kind of bad for her in an objective sense, not literally because she has victims now.
She didn’t get a choice in the trajectory of her life and now she has no idea who she is.
@@brittanyhunter35It takes a special kind of courage and fortitude to be able to break out of a cycle this intense. Especially when there is no one sane or rational in her corner. No one around her, including herself, would ever let someone like around her either because it threatens their world views and money. Hopefully a day will come where she has a moment of deep clarity and she finds a way to truly be herself and value herself and those around her. Until then she is still an adult responsible for her actions unfortunately. Hard to find a space to grow in the public limelight.
Yeah. I was just hating on her but she is a result of shitty treatment by shitty adults for shitty reasons. Late Stage Capitalism and what it can do to a child in an extreme example.
Someone pointed out that other rebrands like Miley Cyrus and Olivia Rodrigo worked partially because they had grown with their audience so their rebrand was showing their fans that “hey you’ve grown up and so have I” but Jojo never had an audience her age to grow up with. On Dance Moms her fans were adults who watch the show and when she left she started marketing to young children.
She has the difficult job of having to create a new fan base from scratch but she keeps alienating demographics that could be her fans. Her whole rebrand is how she’s an adult making music for adults so children aren’t going to be her new fans, she’s openly supports people like James Charles and Colleen so anyone who knows what they did don’t want to associate with her, her “gay pop” comments has made the entire queer community despise her. Who does she have left to get support from?
Perhaps Jojo can find love from Maga people?
You explained this so well, bravo!!
Not even the children who used to be her fans I’ll tell you that much because as their babysitting/art teacher I know they are still children. This comment absolutely nails the situation. She could’ve grown with her audience but she doesn’t care about marketing an organic experience she wants what she wants when she wants it and up until the karma era she’s always gotten it so why should she think this would be any different. She is truly a child in an adult body trying to cosplay what she thinks it means to be grown up the saddest part is that no one ever helped her learn that on her own and her mother will go along with anything to grow her own back account.
She's gonna pivot to the right for the grift by Christmas.
I grew up with Miley 🥰 I loved her “can’t be tamed” era because it lined up with my life too at the time. Sadly jojo’s beezaarr rebrand just ain’t it.

I find JoJo incredibly immature and annoying actually. I honestly don't think she has ever had an original idea in her life. She is the star that Nickelodeon loves, someone who just allows others to determine who she is, what she stands for, and how she expresses herself.
The fact that she dressed up almost exactly like Gene Simmons yet doesn't understand when people make references to him.
It's just embarrassing.
Jojo doesn't have ideas!! Jojo's momager has ideas. Jojo is not a fully formed human unfortunately, and the closer we scrutinize her, the more it's obvious that her whole life has been orchestrated by other people to make money off her face.
I think she's developed an actual personality disorder, and like you said she's basically a vessel for other people's ideas, she has no clue who she is.
'Jojo is the most commercial kid here' is a pathological thing for a mother to say.
I agree
She has had people around her pumping her up in her every move since day one. All "yes people." And people doing everything for her. She's extremely immature and is really full of herself and her "excellence." I get it's good to have confidence and believe in yourself. But a little humbleness wouldn't hurt.
I understand she wants to grow up from the child version, but sh1t, putting on a black costume with black glitter all over your face and body isn't "badazz" like she thinks. That only shows how much maturity she lacks.
Hi Swoopt!
I am a silent subscriber of yours. I used to love watching your fashion videos and music that you made. I remember noticing how amazing your editing skills were and your amazing curly hair. I'm glad to see you are doing well. I will enjoy your other videos. :) Cheers!
You mentioned you’re a believer in two things can be true at the same time, which made me realize it is the reason why I really enjoy your content! That mindset is really great and kind of rare to find on the internet
I swear I distinctly remember JoJo giving an interview saying “When I was writing Karma.” Like I swear I didn’t make that up.
Saaaaame. Someone HAS to have that clip
No I remember that as well. She definitely tried claiming she wrote it.
She literally said "When I started writing music two years ago." So she implied she wrote it but none of the new songs are songs she wrote. Her label bought them for her. A common practice in the music industry but the way she went on about it, it did imply that she wrote the songs.
Yeah I saw the video multiple times. She said she wrote it.
I thought I heard that too!!
I'm a Prek teacher and I see what a general 2 year old is like on a daily basis. The good, the bad and the diarrhea. On average a 2 year old is...
* potty training (unless a parent decides to do it earlier)
* working on fine motor skills like- jumping, climbing and throwing
* building towers out of blocks and knocking them down
* carrying stuff
*figuring out the names of people and things they like
* saying small sentences (3-4 words)
*following simple instructions
JoJo's 2s feel like exploitation to me, I could never see any of my kids so this.
And the fact that she was even going to the dance studio since the moment she started walking? Which is I’m sure on avg 9-14 months like I was a tad bit late and I started walking at 13 months. I’m the same exact age of Jojo (difference of 2 weeks), so to think at the time I was taking my first steps, someone my same age was taking her first dance classes is just wild. Even the normal age being minimum 18 months is too low like I think it should be 3-5 (I was in ballet at 3-4 and definitely threw a fit everyday I was NOT ready for it).
@@nakynaki part of me understands it in the sense of… since her mom owned the studio, it’s like she’s bringing her kid with her to work, not necessarily going out of her way to get her into class. The owners of the studio I grew up at did the same with their kids & nieces/nephews. Definitely not defending Jessa’s choices AT ALL, it’s just that that part of the story doesn’t seem surprising to me. Now the fact that she was putting her in COMPETITIONS is CRAZY
I dunno. My two year old has loved to dance since she was able to stand. We're looking into dance classes because it is honestly her favorite activity. To be clear, I have no aspirations to exploit this, we're only considering classes because we think she would have a good time, and if teacher/coach anything less than compassionate toward my child or expected things that weren't developmentally appropriate, we'd be out immediately.
Jumping is actually a gross motor skill while climbing can fall into either category.. I'm not picking on you, just correcting the information.. 😉
"The Good, The Bad, and the Diarrhea" 😳😂😂😂. I literally just spit my coffee all over my counter and I think it's still coming out of my nose. Thank you, you have no idea how much I needed that this morning, and I mean that. Thanks to you my day just did a complete 180° and damn it, it's going to be a good one! Hope yours is too.😊
just dropping a comment to say ily swoop you have become my fav, the effort and compassion you put into all facets of your life is just incredible. Your videos and the empathy and love you have for chronically ill babes has helped me with a lot of internalised criticism. You're amazing!!!!
I adore you! Thank you for what you said about those who suffer with illness & realizing how just getting up each day & sometimes not, still means we are warriors! Def want the dance mom doc. Also I was so freaking impressed by the artistic excellence of your musical journey! I am so bummed I missed it! I send you love warmth & support for whatever harm you have faced. As someone with both ptsd & chronic pain my empathy is wholeheartedly with you. In my experience the two seem to intermingle even though they are from 2 separate events. The more healing I find in one of those, the more usually my physical pain improves. I do believe my trauma has manifested in my body. It went away for a couple years until I experienced the initial type of trauma AGAIN 3 yrs ago & got knocked down even further & am still clawing my way out.
You even creating these doc experiencing all of these things.. girl, creativity flows from your every PORE!!! Mad impressive & mad inspirational! You are such a warm genuine kind soul, even at your “pettiest”. Just subbed to the other channel! I hope you find the healing your beautiful soul deserves 💜
I really feel like her mom is behind the whole disastrous rebrand. Jojo is an example of the abused becoming an abuser, befriending predators and people who prey on children, and continuing the cycle. I hope she's able to mature (she seems stunted) and distance herself from the predators and her mother.
Agee
She's 20 years old. Her brain is still at adolescent development level. Give her a chance to mature.
It does come off as the concept of what “rebellion” is thru the eyes of someone who has no idea what “rebellion” is 😅. So that would make sense. At this point I don’t think she can not be so deluded, but I hope I’m wrong 😅
💯 facts! 🎯🎯🎯
Why does the mom always get all the blame? Everyone has a father too! Even if the dad isn't involved or just passive, either way it's 50/50.
When you said Abby Lee was the villain of Jojo’s childhood I almost spit my drink out. Like yes absolutely I want a Swoop doc on her because I want Swoop docs on every topic that exists but um. Jessalyn Siwa is the ultimate villain in this story and I’d much rather see a doc on that since Abby Lee has been done. Ideally we’ll get both love youuuu
Yes when Swoop said that I though yep we are going to get a doc on Jess. When she said Abby, it makes sense but JoJo was already groomed to not let Abby get to her by the time she was on the show. Watching the reunion special confirms that Jess and JoJo went on to further their career and went in with that game plan, which makes sense seeing as Abby already didn't like JoJo when she was on Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition.
Agreed! Abby Lee was/is definitely *a* villain, but she wasn’t the main one in JoJo’s life imo. Jessalyn is the mastermind behind her career and the main reason she is the way she is.
I agree, everyone just hones in on abby lee Miller, her own mother has slid under attention for too long!
I thought she would say the mom as well
The ultimate villains are the labor laws that allow this.
Ban family vlogging and child pageants. Put stricter hour restrictions and punishments for violations in place. Put all funds a minor makes from entertainment into a trust that parents never touch. Only let the child touch that money with the guidance of a professional financial advisor.
Thank you for your side bar about chronic illness. I'm 24 & been waiting for a transplant for 3 years as a musician and actress and it can feel so debilitating and mentally exhausting when I'm already so weak, in pain and physically exhausted everyday. When I can accomplish one thing as a streamer and creator it makes me feel so grateful and happy because I'm not able to do simple things at this moment so I have a lot of barriers trying to do regular things people can do. I pray for a kidney every day and I'm so grateful for other creators and musicians like alike who have a safe space for disabled people ; it can really feel like people don't understand when everyday can be a battle. Thanks for being so inspiring and amazing by making these awesome and well constructed videos as well! You are loved Swoop. ❤ Thanks for alll you do. ❤
Another fantastic video. Also, thank you for your section on chronic illness and pain. I’ve dealt with it my whole life. At this point I have a highly dis-regulated, hyper active, and hyper sensitive nervous system (all signs point that I was born with it which likely caused the domino effect of all the chronic and acute physical and mental illnesses and pain I’ve dealt with). I also have fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and chronic migraine disease. We, as human beings, are not meant to experience illness or pain on a chronic level. No wonder chronic illness/pain is frequently co-morbid with mental illness (of which I have several as well, including PTSD stemming from my lifetime of illness and pain). Your words were so validating, compassionate, and so needed. I actually started crying. So, thank you. I found you inspiring before I knew about your illnesses and pain but now I find you inspiring as a fellow spoonie and fighter. Thank you again for your words as well as the immense amount of work and care you put into everything you do. I hope you’re doing well. If not, I hope you can find some things to bring moments of rest, distraction, comfort, and joy until life gets a little easier. Sending love to you and your kitty. ❤❤❤
Oops! I meant to send love to ALL of your beautiful kitties. No kitty will be left out of the love! 😍❤❤❤
The footage of you performing was a wonderful addition to this doc. Wishing you nothing but love and healing and returning to the art that makes you feel whole
So fucking cool, right?
i just want to echo this comment because it’s beautifully worded and i have been sitting here for a few minutes trying to find the eloquence to say what you said so well! 🤍
I came to say the same. She’s an amazing artist…mind, I’m an old lady who hasn’t been following music for some time.
I don’t know this person who is being discussed, but….sounds like she’s been exploited like so many child stars. It’s really sad….and now she’s continuing the cycle of abuse. Considering this is all she’s known, she may well not realize she’s being abusive, especially if she thinks that what she dealt with as a child wasn’t abuse. Honestly, she probably needs therapy to deal with it, but I’m no doctor.
I think the laws that are supposed to protect children should be enforced, and extended to any form of entertainment, social media, etc.
It looked like so much _fun_, I wish I could've seen it live!
The fact that Jojo doesn't feel like she has been exploited is the problem because she now thinks that how she was treated on Dance Moms is the norm. This is why she is comfortable with people like Colleen Ballinger. This doesn't mean that she doesn't know right from wrong. I watched her break down on Dance Moms that was real. She cried real tears. She needs to remember how she felt when Abby was being cruel to her..I hope someone truly talks some sense into her.
Side note Please make the Dance Moms doc.
On the reunion special JoJo said that to her Abby was always right. She still hasn't made the connection that Abby could have been right but the way that she said it was wrong.
@@amandamandamands precisely that's why she treats her dancers the way that she does. This insanity is all she knows.
GIRL DROP THE VIDEO!! I am a huge dance mom’s binge watcher and have waited since you hinted at it during your Ruby video!
GIRL.... Great job on your performances! You are so creative and talented! Between your videos and your dancing, playing guitar and the drums, and performing... just wow! Congrats again. Thanks for sharing!
I feel silly Swoop, but I had NO idea you were a musical artist in addition to a film artist! Damn girl. All sorts of serious creator talent all packed in to you!
You're not alone! I was like oh, I had no idea she got down like that!! Gave me even more respect!
Same!
Did NOT expect to Gabbi Hannah dropping straight facts on this video
Edit: I wanna add, until Jojo learns that her trauma was actually bad, I don't think she will change. She truly believes all that abuse was good because it ended with her having fame and money so she continued to do it to her dancers thinking she was going to do the same for them. She's in a bubble surrounded by people who tell her everythings fine. It can take people YEARS to realize they've been abused on their own, I can't imagine how hard it'll be when the people around you gaslight you into believing being exploited from a young age was a good thing.
Yeah I agree. I mean, the girl doesn't know what reality is. She never has and never will. Thats sad actually and tragic for most child stars. We know what goes on but under what we only know I'm sure its much much darker.
I think we ultimately need to keep in mind that this is a very young person that has been raised in the spotlight by a mother that was clearly obsessed with making her famous and a team of yes men behind her once she got there. It's very possible that she's incredibly emotionally stunted and it could take her years to understand fully what happened to her.
*none of this is to excuse how she treated those girls. That is 100% on her, regardless of her history.
I can’t believe I’ve been watching you for 3 years. I remember when you just got the billing department. Seems like yesterday. Your channel keeps getting better and better. Keep up the phenomenal job!
I'm not a musician. I've never even been to a concert before. However I am an artist. I just wanna say tha I hope you get back in touch with your art even if it's not in a full concert sense. I really enjoy your content and hope you're healthy and content. Pursue your passions Queen.
I concur. What a badass.
Artist and former teacher here. When we teach the concept of art, we start from the understanding that art is something man-made either created for utility or aesthetics. Jojo is not an artist because she is not the one creating.
Comcept?
@SR-ro4xc thank you 😊 I have a bad habit of trusting my phone to auto correct what I'm typing, so I appreciate you catching that!
I’m an artist too. While I think watercolor is the best art medium, it’s not the only art medium. JoJo might be a terrible person but she is also a really technically and artistically proficient dancer, which makes her a type of artist. She is taking choreography and transforming it into art.
Well said 👏
That first clip of her dancing as a two year old isn't at a normal studio recital, it's at a dance competition! Most reputable dance teachers won't let kids compete that young but when your dance teacher is your fame hungry momager then you're getting groomed for the stage from the time you're in utero!
Yep! This is just toddlers and tiaras in toe shoes. It's disgusting.
This is from their website, it was definitely a competition.
"For over 40 years, Kids Artistic Revue has proudly served the dance community, producing world class competitions and setting the industry standard, truly earning the title of “America’s Favorite Dance Competition”
19:36 did not realize you had a whole other life doing this!! Wow these look like stunning performances, hoping you can come back ❤
Queen, I adore you. I just subscribed and started watching your docs and I already love you so much. Thank you for the reminder about how doing literally anything -even getting out of bed -is a big deal when you have a chronic illness and chronic pain, and that I am beautiful, worthy, important, appreciated, and loved. I really needed to hear that from someone else. I’m sorry you have the same illnesses ans truffles I I do and others. I am proud of you and I have so much respect for you. You are uplifting and inspiring all while being yourself. ♥️
Woah wait why didn't I know Swoop was a performer(edit... ARTIST)?! TALENT. Love how she has different colors of hair for all her extracurriculars haha!
Blue=Journalist
Black=Popstar
Purple=Gossip in the SUSpool.
I didn't know either! And I've watched like all her videos, why would she hide such talent. That performance was awesome and those outfits were killing it! I would have been so hyped if I was there.
for real! i want to be like her when i grow up haha

Right!!?! She is such a likeable multi-talented QUEEN 🙌
@@itwasmedionysus ok well that’s rude… lol wtf
Jojo is like the celebrity version of The Weird Homeschooled Kid, like, if you look at her in the context of someone who's had the "luxury" of being SO isolated and catered to, it kinda sorta makes her out-of-touchness more understandable.
She's so obsessed with herself, it's clear that she was raised like that. Her mom wants to live vicariously through JoJo and now, JoJo is this out-of-touch, egotistical, abusive narcissist.
Eloquently put
As a homeschool graduate and homeschool mom, I would take offense at being compared to Jojo, but I don't fall into the WEIRD HOMESCHOOLER category......some of us are just normal people who received our education at home.
@@laurennegley6905agreed, coming from a homeschooled family.
Okay, so i just found your channel by pure accident and im invested, also love the merch designs.
I know how im spending my weekends, watching documentaries by Swoop
Omg now I know I saw you someone before I found your swoop channel. Every time I’d watch a video, I’d think that I’ve seen you before. I used to watch your swanky ValentinesTV channel! It’s great to have found you again.
Swoop, hearing how you’ve had to stop performing and seeing those videos of you made me ugly cry…
I got diagnosed with fibro a few weeks ago, I’m 27. I deeply empathize with what you’re going through, you’re SO strong.
Literally just the fact that you keep your yt channels going is amazing- you give me hope that I will find a way to thrive one day…thank you❤️
I have fibro. Diagnosed at 16, and I'm 28, now. It sucks, and I'm sorry. Gabapentin works really well, for me. Doesn't rid all of the pain, but it makes it to where I at least can live with it. You've got this!!!
I have the disease as well, along with thyroid disease-hashemoto and crohns diseease, rheumatoid arthritis and severe anxiety. Especially white coat syndrome. Fear of drs. I could've sued over and over for misdiagnosed my mother, drunk nurses, and so many other episodes that have now made me so scared of drs. True story! If you ever want my full story, please let me know. I've Journaled it all and I'm not the only victim of Geisinger medical system! Very poor care and they herd you like cattle, just a number, never ever caring about the patient. I would love swoop to deep dive this hospital that monopolized all the other local hospitals. It's disgusting! I'm soon changing hospitals even if it's out of my way by 40 minutes or more. They've almost killed my mother, brother and me. Not to mention a nurse that came into ER while drunk and playing golf. She admitted she was drunk and they didn't care. Speech slurred, an open syringe left on my mom's bed I had to point out. She was unable to work ER in her condition. I later in life due to my illnesses ended up in rehab thanks to the hospital who pushed drugs on me only to double dip by sending me to rehab they owned. Talk about frustration. I had a 2 year shoulder injury. They also falsely told me mom was dying and they tried everything only to realize they had the wrong patient and mother. I only brought her into the ER to have her eyes checked, then to be told she was dying. After they realized the mistake, the nurse was quickly removed. I never recovered from the ptsd that the hospital caused me. They're the most disfunction hospital I've ever come crossed. I absolutely have plenty to sue them and how they messed up my mental state, made me scared and I now have no faith in this hospital at all. They constantly make the front page of our local newspaper and sued over and over. I'm now mentally unwell, scared, paranoid and have no faith in the drs properly taking care of Mr. My mother passed away and I blame them and the way they blew her off as important. My grandchildren are devastated as I am. I'm off the subject a bit but I wish someone would expose this hospital and finally make them responsible! 🤬🤨🤔🙄🧐😳✌🏻🙄🎬
Your little side bar for people with chronic pain was beautiful, and it made my day. I'm in the "can't get out of bed today" category, I can't get out of bed most days, and your recognition of the strength it takes to be a person in these circumstances made my day better 💛 sending so much love to you Swoop, and to everyone else with chronic pain.
❤❤❤
I totally feel this. Swoop probably is the only one who makes me feel valid with my chronic pain and illness. I'm sorry you suffer. chronic pain sucks so bad. especially when you look fine to everyone else. 😢
@@cheetahcreep gawd, do I feel that. Sometimes, my fibro makes me feel like I missed my entire adult life and skipped straight to being geriatric in my early twenties, but there's something about seeing a successful RUclips creator who has the same disease I do tell me that what I suffer is real that just makes me feel better. I grew up having SO MUCH workaholic rhetoric hammered into my brain actively and passively that I spent years hating myself for "failure", so having someone "successful" who knows what this is like tell me I'm enough for just surviving... I need that more than I often want to admit to myself.
@@emexdizzyI'm so sorry. lol but legit I often tell my mom I'm 34 in a 90 year old body. humor is my copium. because I flunked out of my BA, can't keep a job though I've tried, and SSI is basically below minimum wage by half, in my state. like it has forced me to become codependent on people in so many ways, so many awful ways. and I feel like I'm just wasting my 30s away in physical and mental illness.
so it's really nice when someone talks about it, and makes me feel valid that I can no longer drive long distances (I literally fall asleep behind the wheel sometimes), clean my own kitchen by myself, go to school, go to work. makes me feel like I failed, failed at life and that I'm not disabled enough to call myself disabled because I know people who have worse disabilities than I do.
anyways. I'm sorry you deal with it too. it's not fair. 😢 and your pain is valid. ❤
Me too. I’ve just had a hysterectomy as my cancer & endometriosis renders me pretty useless many days. I used to dance professionally with the Royal Ballet in London. Now I’m in a hospital bed in my home. I am going to write and rehab & when I’m better I want to start a RUclips channel, if I can work out how! My love to you all. Every condition that stops us living the lives we want to is cruel, and I applaud your strength & send you love & light.

Im a big fan of your doc work- this is the first time I heard/saw your music. You're AMAZING!!!! 💖💖💖
I love you swoop, this was your most thoughtful and well researched, balanced and hilarious doc! Also holy shit, how did you have this whole other life and we’re just now seeing it?!
It's that she says she's revolutionizing music while putting out a 3x recycled song. Brit Smith, Miley and now it's Jojo Siwa's song.
It's the arrogance I don't like. She could've just done her mix, say "Hope you like it!" and been normal about it.
Finding out that Jojo has been homeschooled her entire life, even before getting famous, a loooot started to make sense about her lol
Hey we aren't that bad
hey, what's wrong with us? :c
@@SaraRankins.i don’t think that this person was making fun of homeschooling. I think it’s the fact that her mother is such a social climbing fame wh*re, that she most likely glossed over her education. Bc obviously there are many people who homeschool kids who are not pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. And even though there are child stars who still put their education first, there are many who don’t. It just such a hectic and stressful environment that education is cut short for them. especially if the parents are desperately trying to live through their own kids or use them for money.
@@SaraRankins.Not all, but if we pair it with how Jojo was a child actor from a young age, and thus exposed to a brand new world she wasn’t familiar with and didn’t even get the chance to acclimate to, it really explains some of her behavior.
As a child of homeschooling, I support this message.
It really messed me up.
It messed my sisters up.
It messed my homeschooled friends up.
It's a rare exception that someone fully homeschooled doesn't come out of it at least slightly messed up.
In the US at least, homeschooling desperately needs oversight. At minimum, yearly testing to ensure kids keep up, as well as checks on the kids for abuse and neglect.
Requesting a Behind the Music deep dive doc on YOU SWOOP! How/when did you start creating and performing your own music? Forgive me if you've already explained but I have the ADD so I missed it. But Why did you put your first love on the back burner? After that, did you go straight to these amazing youtube docs? Or, do you have even more talents I don't know about? Swear exactly! I had never seen Swoop perform before now and OMG I was blown TF away! I have to see Swoop in concert! Those clips are absolutely amazing ❤
When I tell you my jaw was on the floooooooooooooooor!!
TRUEEEE.
On the note of the video of Jojo as a 2 year old: When I was 2, I participated in a beauty contest. According to my mom, she had been having a day at the mall with 2 year old me and my 9 year old brother when she noticed a little beauty pageant going on. My mom liked to dress me up at that age, so I was wearing a cute fluffy dress, and my mom thought "why not, seems cute". Apparently I, wearing a white cotton and lace dress amongst the other 2 year old girls wearing sparkly pageant costumes, toddled out on stage, almost cried, and walked away with a 2nd place trophy. Somehow.
My mom says she never considered signing me up for another because that incident alone showed her how exploitative and toxic that scene was. "No little girl should have her face slathered in makeup and parade around wearing sparkly mini-skirts!" - My mom.
I didn't even end up on stage before my mom changed her mind about the whole scene. The moment they required me to wear make up she was like nah
my mom nearly blew her top when a photographer wanted to take a photo of me for an ad when i was a child. she despises this kind of stuff.
@@nebula541 I mean my mom didn't mind that lol. She just had a weird rule of no non costume make up before 10. Like if I was playing a character in a play I could wear make up. But as I wouldn't be playing a character in something like a beauty pageant it suddenly became sinful in my mom's eyes. I don't know it's hard to explain the logic of that woman lol
@@LeadrynMcKrotch maybe it's like a thing where she didn't want u to grow up too fast? for my mom, it's just she's terrified of creeps finding their way to me somehow, that's why she was a little over the top
@@LeadrynMcKrotch My mom said no to the beauty pageants after that incident, but she did sign us up for the local children's theater troop. So through the ages of 8-13 I was singing and dancing in stage productions. The costumes were appropriate and the stage makeup was light - mascara, blush and lipstick. But above all else, we weren't FORCED to do it and my mom wasn't militant about practicing. She was of the belief that things like that are supposed to be light hearted fun. The reason she joined the pageant was because she thought it was supposed to be basically a fun parade of cute little girls in cute dresses 😭 she was high key horrified by what they're actually like.
Off topic OMG that was so awesome the footage of you performing you were great I had no idea ☺️💙
You’ve been teasing this dance moms doc for a while give it to usssss
your little sidebar about people experiencing chronic pain really resonated with me, i started bawling. i work as a landscaper/gardener and have a chronic illness, and not many people understand just how hard it can be. i needed to hear that today, especially since i watched it right before a shift. THANK YOU SWOOP!! ❤️💐
I hear you. It's freaking awful.
I felt the same. It really felt like being seen. I really love when influencers use their platform to educate. And not just the juicy stories. But help put a face to the struggles. ❤❤❤
My mum has chronic pain and I'm in my final year of studying my bachelor's of occupational therapy. I have a few patients at the moment that have chronic pain and it's so hard. I'm doing what I can to learn as much as I can from my supervisors to help not only my patients but provide my mum with education also as she cannot afford a specialist. Unfortunately there's no magic fix. But I really hope you find anything to provide you some relief ❤
I have PsA and RA as well as Chronic Migraine. Constant pain has been a daily occurance withme for years.
I hope you're having an okay day on the pain scale today ❤
I don’t understand why she still keeps the forehead-out tied up hairstyle if she actually wants to separate herself from her old kid friendly persona. Like she might not have the big colorful bows anymore, but the forehead-forward look is one of her most recognizable features, at least to me. Makes it so when she has her “badass” dark outfits on, she looks like a kid in her parent’s clothing🤧
i wonder if she even can do another hair style or if her hair is stuck like that xD
The Jojo Siwa rebrand we actually wanted: Bangs.
She probably just has a big forehead. 🤷♀️ Not but so much you can do with it if you have one, it's like either you get bangs or you just continue showing your ginormous forehead off to the world.
It really makes the whole thing super goofy. I agree it just looks like her playing dress up because nothings really changed. At the end of the day, it’s just goofy makeup and a costume.
@@serenetiv I think it just grows like that now.

Swoop, we need that Abby Lee Miller doc...and a petty university segment covering her filing a police report for being told to put her phone away during a show.
Abby L M is old news. She’s literally been in prison & is an immobile “dance teacher” who, she openly admits, is a total b!tch. No thanks, we all know ALM, don’t wanna know any more.
Yes for sure I'd like to see that as well!
um swoop what the hell!! I had no idea you had such a gift for performing like that! I hope you can get back to being on a stage soon if that's a path you want to peruse again because that was so fun to watch!
I’ve been a member of both of your channels for only a little while, but I love your content. I went all the way back and watched your older docs. They’re brilliant, and no wonder they won awards. Anyway, I have some pretty serious mental health issues, and it can be hard to find things to help manage. Your energy is my new go-to. Your smile is so real, Petty University is one of the most clever things ever, the sus pool almost scares me, and you always make me laugh. I may still be powerfully depressed, but you always get a laugh.
It started with a manic depression diagnosis (I’m old), then bipolar, then severe bipolar, and most recently, schizoaffective disorder. It all started when I was twelve. I was institutionalized three times by my 16th birthday, and have been rather heavily-medicated since. I am NOT listing all of this for pity or anything other than to let you know that I see you. I hear you. And sometimes I rely on you. I’ll never understand or experience racism, but I’m not blind to it, either.
So again, thank you for the content, thank you for the laughs when I need them, and thank you for being you. You’re really appreciated.
I'm glad my kid was too old to even notice JoJo .. ever. That girls voice is like a mix of nails on a chalkboard and sucking helium .
I'm a mom of 2 under 2 (oldest turned 2 last month).
I hardly, if at all, post publicly about my children. And even then, I fear for them.
So in my situation, I could never imagine putting my daughter on a stage for people to watch and judge as she performs for them.
It feels icky.
It IS icky. Very icky. And terribly damaged.
As a mom of a 1 year old and about to join the 2 under 2 club in october, i have NEVER publicly posted my child. Ive posted privately, my profiles are limited extremly to close family and friends. I cant imagine posting my kid and making money off him, or my future child (unknown gender) just infuriates me.
Oh and i think the reason it makes me so mad is my mom was putting me in beauty pagents at that age
Glad to hear a someone has common sense and is taking care of their children.
I couldn't put my kids in front of a bunch of grown ass adults judging them. I also don't see them as walking (or in my younget's case, crawling) dollar signs, so.
OMGGGGGGG I WANT TO SEE SWOOP PERFORM IN PERSON NOWWWW. I am so happy that you added that!
Dissatisfied with the world right now because this is the first to have seen or heard you but girllll, you have officially become my favorite RUclips person! I love your music too!
You are awesome! (Let's not forget gorgeous) ❤❤❤❤❤
"It's not a good day unless you make the kids cry." There is so much wrong with this statement. A teacher bullied my son when he attended a Catholic school, essentially making him cry (he was little!). She then told him, "Why don't you call your mommy?"
I lost my mind. I can't even imagine allowing my child to be put through that kind of, and I'm just going to say it, abuse. Because that's what I'm seeing here. Absolutely not!! Btw, Mommy did go to that school. And "Mommy" handled that sh*t! Don't mess with my kid!

Wow.. 😔 So, not to make this about me of course cuz that’s not cool,, but I can identify.. My mother used to pull the same crap.. wouldn’t let up til we legit cried. It’s sickening.. almost like they wouldn’t feel ‘accomplished’ after us doing something “bad” til we would cry, I used to refuse to give her the satisfaction and would just hold it all in, but after a while I learned it was best just to cry so it would all finally End.. ugh 😢 ..I vowed right there n then, even remembering saying it out loud, that I would NEVER Ever do that to my future kids, nor would I let anyone else. Periodt. It still affects me to this day.. I’m just so very glad & thankful that we have a MUCH better & healthier relationship now as adults.. but ugh.. one never forgets.. maybe that’s how she was raised as a kid too, I dunno.. I just know that it hurt so bad, even after stupid lil petty kid mistakes etc. I felt like my brother n my father were my only true advocates n best friends in the house at the time.. still have the Diary I wrote about it all too.. never really told anyone this before, partly because I never thought anyone would even believe me, as my mother was such a “nice” aka phony person to everyone else like esp at work or to our neighbors, etc. But tbh, even if noone reads this- it truly feels great to get it off my chest even after all these years.. 😢❤💯🙏 I just pray anyone else going thru what I did- will find the courage to speak up to someone they truly trust.. Cuz verbal ab**e is just as awful as physical, but I endeared both behind closed doors. You never really know what a child is going thru behind closed doors, even if the parent seems like an amazing one. Ugh ..May God bless those who also went thru it, or still currently are.. there’s help out there, you do not and should NOT ever have to suffer in silence. No matter who’s hurting you.. the mental aspect can even be so much worse.. or to those who experienced it too themselves- PLZ do not repeat the cycle. It could & SHOULD end w you.. just my 2cents., God bless fam xo ♥️💯💜👍🙏✌️
@@katybug6572 I'm so sorry you had to live that. Breaks my heart. Thank you for sharing. 🙏🏼💙💜 We are the ones who break the cycle. It's sad but true. I hope and pray you're living your best life!
My step mother who is a terrible human being and a narcissistic asshole always said that! "You gonna cry to your mommy?!" I was very young (8-12) and I always hated it and so did my mom!
@MJtherealone I had one of those step monsters, too. I'm sorry. I fought back to protect my younger siblings, but the sh*t she did and said to and about me, I'll never forget. Ever. I'm the oldest of five. I won't go into detail about what she did to my baby sister, but it angers me to this day. She was pregnant with my youngest brother. Then later, I had to protect *him* from her.
I'd say she's gotten "better" with age, but I'm also a damn adult. I still don't trust her. My dad divorced her after seven years, but I did get two amazing little brothers. They're all in their mid-to-late thirties now. ❤️ I hope you've been able to heal from all that. It's a freaking horrible way to grow up. 🙏🏼
"nobody has made this EXTREME of a switch"
*doja cat busts through the door*
Flames shooting from her bra.🔥🔥
miley cyrus and melanie martinez too
Poppy literally exists!
WOW, first of all you whole preformance was fantastic Scoop m your energy was magnetic.
I think kids love gressing upm and some also love preforming/play acting, however, it's the public, competitive presentations that make it problematic!
If i didnt love you enough already, theres you performing these shows and the music 😮 shooketh to my core TRIPPLE THREAT ALERTT, beautiful, bright, talented… Thanks You for existing miss, we require more humans like YOU
One of the MANY differences between Gaga and Jojo is that Gaga actually WRITES HER OWN SONGS
And she can sing. Lady Gaga is extremely talented.
Lady Gaga can not only sing, but can truly act… AHS: Hotel.
If you know, you know.
I find that comparison a little funny. Growing up i hated gaga...until i didnt. She was talented enough to make me look past my biases and reevaluate. I just really dont like some of her earlier music and outfits, but i do enjoy some of her music and loved her role in ahs. I didnt have cable (still don't, cant afford) so no nickelodeon, thus i never heard of jojo until she started popping up in my youtube this year. Feels like they're not even on the same planet to compare them
Totally get what you’re saying but also there’s literally no comparison lolll
@@shadygirlxoxoI like her music, but her acting it's bad. I have seen her in ahs and her movie and it's still very amatuer honestly.
The wildest part is her not knowing who Gene Simmons is 🫣
I’ve felt so old and alone thinking she looks like a terrible KISS tribute artist 💀 yet she “invented” music? Gurl please
Lol to which I say, ".... mkay sure" with a gigantic eye-roll
There ain't NO WAY she doesn't know she just wanted to make folks think she really thinks she came up with this. Weird flex but okau
Right? Nobody told her? Is her team scared to talk to her? That is so weird, that she had no clue.
When I was her age, if I said something that dumb id be told to know what I was talking about. That no one told her " you said kiss, gene simmons was the singer in that group" is astounding to me.
Swoop. Can we get a channel with your performances? I loved that footage so much!
You hit the nail on the head with this one! 1:14:57
Jojo, her mom, & team planned this outrageous "rebrand" not just to take peoples mind off of the child abuse claims but also so the articles written about the child abuse online would be the last thing to pop up. Pretty much flood socials & articles with new crazy Jojo Siwa news!
JoJo could have easily branded herself and her music video as the "2010s sapphic pop artist I wish was around when I grew up" and I think that would have actually worked out positively for her as a concept
That would be such a good PR move! !!
Maybe there would be less backlash but she's way to untalented and cringe to have a successful music career. Also I think sapphic pop existed in the 2010s i.e. Tegan and Sarah
Ya that type of gimmick would actually work for her and be entertaining for millennials, Gen z and Gen alpha
After someone defined ‘sapphic’ for her.
this might actually be an attempt at that.
the fakeness is making me question if they're queer even. do they even know that it doesn't just mean using gene simmons makeup?
I'm sorry I had to pause. So you're telling me we have Swoop...doc and film maker, a voice for victims, AND rock star????
Ma'am?????
@swoop you are so incredible at everything you do. I hope you get back to performing and touring again soon ❤
I got the chills when you put up your video: "My name is; Spanky Valentine!" Beautiful! Love you Swoop!
Currently dealing with a heating pad and Vicodin type of day from chronic spinal arthritis, spinal stenosis, and sciatica damage rn and hearing your words about how much of fighters we are just for surviving has me BALLING. I was a competitive dancer and had a free ride to ucla for dance and then senior year it all was shattered. Had surgery at 17 and at 26 now my issues have only gotten worse. I can’t work, have no friends, and am stuck living with my abusive mom. Not looking for sympathy I just want to say that to all those who feel invalidated because “you’re young” and “you don’t seem in pain” I SEE YOU.
Hugs and prayers for you.
You are a survivor too. I hope things get better for you.
Sending you all my positive energy and wishing you get better days. Chronic pain is a bitch.
We see you too, dear one. Stay strong. 🫂♥️
I see you too. I'm 50 with severe chronic illness and still get told I'm too young to be this ill and that I look good. Hugs.
The “ 🗣️ JOJO have you learned NOTHING!?” in the intro got me going places 😭😭
For real!
This is my first time watching one of your videos, I subscribed to your channel at minute four 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 love your work!
