That is SO kind of you to say! I feel like I'm an impatient person, but I do try and just let things go with the flow for certain things in motherhood. And then other things I'm pretty strict in 🤣
I’ve never had fertility problems but wow. You have graciously shared your journey and listening to you discuss this book, I was crying with you. I always felt emotional immediately with my pregnancies and can imagine the feelings that must be a part of life when you’re going through so much to have a child. The perseverance to keep going without any guarantee that you will have a baby must be so tough. I love Moriarty books and Picoult books because they discuss controversy and difficult topics by presenting multiple perspectives. They always make me think about other possible perspectives that I may not have considered. Thanks for the vlogs. It’s fun to see Alice growing up. ❤
Sorry for the random comments. Lol I’m commenting as I’m listening. 😂 I’m crying listening to you cry bc I don’t feel like Evie is mine sometimes either! I had my son naturally 12 years ago and then it took 11 years to get her and it just feels completely different. I love them both the same and all of that but it feels so weird saying that I have a baby again after all of these years because I truly started to doubt that it was going to happen. I also passed on so many things because “I might be pregnant then. “And I totally feel you on the fear of being pregnant. We lost two babies in between Garrett and Evie.
Loved your vulnerability. My husband and I also dealt with infertility for many years, so I can relate as well. I think I may have read What Alice Forgot many years ago,but I don't remember anything. I would like to read it again.
I love watching your videos! You always motivate me to be a better mom and to be more productive around the house when I see you cleaning, meal planning, etc.
echoing what everyone said, catching up on a few missed vlogs and tearing up watching this one. i am so happy you made it to the other side. being a mom isn't easy but really is the best thing ever. we are so lucky and you worked so hard and for so long to get here. i am so glad you did.
Just out of curiosity, what happens if someone doesn’t pay their embryo storage? Do they just toss them? I never thought about this until you mentioned that.
Oh my goodness I wish I had seen this sooner! We have season passes to the Richmond zoo and were just there the Saturday before. I would’ve loved to see you & meet up! My daughter is 2 & would love Alice.
It might be a good idea to put Graham on specific urinary care food forever to help mitigate the stones again. Our dog growing up always had those problems. The food is expensive but cheaper than more surgery. Hope he feels better soon. Chewy is the cheapest place I’ve found for prescription vet stuff
They just said they would only approve the vet store one, and when I asked a few people to approve my orders through chewy and Amazon, they kept redirecting me and then I'd get emails that it was canceled.
@@jacqiewheeler that’s so annoying. I guess they have their reasons. Hills is a great brand though, we feed Hills to both our dogs and I’ve done a TON of research about dog food lol
I have never gone through IVF, but I did have a stillborn son twelve years ago and then after, I went through many years of infertility. I couldn’t afford the IVF stuff so I had to constantly lie to myself and say I didn’t want kids. It’s such a horrible feeling, and feeling like you’ve let not only yourself down but everyone else because your body failed you. When I was able to finally to get pregnant eight years after my son, I couldn’t even enjoy the pregnancy because I felt like life was going to repeat itself and I was going to end up with another stillborn. The unknown and fears are all so heartbreaking.
Alot of them recently came from Walmart. Search the Joyspun brand. And then I have one from target and one from tjmaxx. The Walmart ones are my favorite. I sized down in them.
Oh Jacqie I am so happy you finally have the life you wanted. After going through a miscarriage I am terrified to try again and I feel like I would relate to this book. Thank you for being so so vulnerable ❤
For the puppers - maybe your vet knows more about doing it through Chewy. Our dogs were on prescription food and the vet would give us prescription card for like 12 months and then we’d email that to chewy.
We do Rx food for my son's cat. We get it through Chewy. The vet just wrote a Rx and then you upload it to the Chewy site once you put it into your cart. Chewy can call your vet but it's been a hassle with Chewy to do that and it was just better to get the Rx from the vet and upload it. Wet food is best for those issues but we have mixed it with the same brand dry and it makes the animal more thirsty so they drink more... that's why the stones build up from the oxylates in their urine and the special food makes the urine less acidic. We had to get a water fountain too to encourage the cats to drink more.

I know we only see little snippets of your life, but you're so good with Alice. You seem to have such a calm personality. Thank you for sharing!
