@maltheri9833If we had that I would spend my nights making crazy maps! Maybe make a huge Morningstar lower decks map... Maybe a vast wasteland map too. Just debris, destroyed tanks and sand as long as the eye can see. Then add roaming hordes of Doggos and poxwalkers.
6:25 another thing to note about these unrevved latching ticks is that they benefit a lot from the mid-latch fury boost, capable of 1shotting crushers without the lengthier latching you get from a rev.
Thunderous works well with Bloodletter, you break the targets armour and the bleed you apply will be affected by the brittleness stacks. Thrust is still the better choice for burst damage, but Bloodletter apply full stacks even if you have to dodge crusher attacks while reving.
Yes it does but at the point where you're running bloodletter and thunderous you should just use the Mk4 which has better baseline hordeclear and the same breakpoints. That was kinda the problem I ran into with the mk12.
@@Reginald-sc9tk Depends on Class, on Zealot I might agree, but veteran you want the MKXII to quickly spread serated blades and not have to rely on heavies for horde clear cause you get interupted by any melee damage.
Unfortunately in the testing we have done serrated blades is not very useful for horde clear. The damage across an entire game is very very low. Its most useful for maintaining or applying stacks of bleed to monstrosities or already bleeding targets. As to getting bonked out of heavy attacks on the mk4 that's really a matter of just learning the weapon and timings. You can always reset a bad clash with a push attack. That said Vet can make strong use of the occasional mag dump for hordes so its not like I'm saying you can't make it work or anything. But the Mk12 just isn't as good at horde clear by the numbers@@fredericbrasseur7399
Ah the younger brother of our old friend the MK 4. Great video and lots of small things I haven't noticed until you mentioned. Still I will be loyal to my trusty old MK 4 since I personally like it a bit more than the MK 12 but in the end both shred things like crazy! And by crazy I mean CRAZY!!
Another great vid. I had one with infested + carapace. The mutants would be nice but decided to just get the blessings and lock those perks in place. This thing shreds!
2hand Chain axe would be cool no way they don’t add it. I was playing around with the ignatus crusher and I was remembering some weapons I saw online in warhammer lore. I realized what I want is a cross between the crusher and the mkv combat axe. Something like a double sided war axe. I feel like the crusher has an amazing movement set. But its functionality is to just put things on the ground until someone else can kill it. And I say mix between the mkv because I think armor penetration weapons are really good because teammates can often clear horde just fine but struggle just a tad with swarms of flak and carapace. Also surprisingly I think the crushers attack pattern is faster than the one handed combat axe. Also what makes the combat axe so great is the ability of its attacks (I find the 10% attack speed on zealot is necessary for viability) the special poke stops big boys in their tracks and the push attack fulfills the lack of horde clear regarding the lights and heavy attacks. Which are good for focusing groups of two targets. Not only do I have to take the 10% attack speed for the mkv but I also give up a point else where and in my current build I give up the second ult for chastise the wicked. Which is very useful for what I’m trying to do with my build. All in all I’d like to see a double sided axe with the crushers Light attacks the MKVs heavy and special. And a vanguard sweeping attack for the push attack. And the functionality of the attacks to be most similar to the mk v and be a armored killing machine. One can only dream, and this wet dream of mine also includes head taker and shred
this about covered my expectations. i do like it the more i use it, but overall i prefer the 4 on zealot for it’s versatility and the 12 on vet… for my lasgun builds that struggle with carapace.
i'd rather took +25% unyielding damage or +2 stamina or +20% block effeciency. Carapace armor is good to oneshot crushers and maulers to the head. But with thrust everyone else dies in one charged headshot. So no point picking it up as it only will result in overkill numbers Maniacs also recieve bonus dmg from certain weapons while running. So you will oneshot them baseline with heavy attack even using cadian chainsword.
Ideally you would roll 25% unyielding and 25% carapace i think. Or maybe flak/maniac for ragers. I can't see using stamina or block efficiency since you can get that on curios just fine. Imo the main reason to take the mk12 is crusher and mauler oneshots so if you can't do that id just go use the mk4 or another weapon.
I noticed in my own testing in the Psykhanium that the Mk12's light attacks seems to do very little (if any) flinch/stagger specifically to Dreg Ragers, compared to many other melee weapons. (you can see it at 7:39) Do you think this is intended or a bug?
@@Reginald-sc9tk thanks for the insight. I just found it rather unusual that you can knock Scab Ragers (and pretty much any other human-sized enemies) around just fine with light attacks, but Dreg Ragers don't seem to feel any impact whatsoever. Even getting stacks of +% power from Slaughterer/Headtaker doesn't appear to make a difference. But like you said, perhaps it was intended to give them an edge.
I actually think the mk12 is worse at horde clear but its easier for some because its just a light spam weapon. Which I vibe. Either is fun! Use what you like.
my only Problem with the chaxe on Veteran is the Slow Horde clear on Auric Levels , espacially if my teammates also lack It. My MkXII with headtaker/ bloodletter can one shot/ bleed tik every Human sized Enemy with one rev up light attack.
The maniac breakpoint for muties is very specifically stated and has value on this weapon. Not having it literally doubles the time to kill by doubling the minimum swings to secure the kill. Additionally, if you are playing zealot, and cannot melee small numbers of ragers then you should be working to get good enough to do so.
2H Chaxe one day, my friend. One day…
One day....I hope its cool.
Power great sword for zealot one day too...
I want a two handed power sword for the zealot.

He did it! He really used something other than the Chainsword/Chainaxe! The curse is broken 🙏🏽🤲🏽
Lmao. I do actually sometimes use other things! I have a video on the thammers and the indycrusher and even the heavy swords.
@@Reginald-sc9tk I know I'm just messing around 😊
The Mk 12 has become my go to weapon on vet and zealot. Both of which I do elite and special murdering. It also works for unzipping bosses.
unzipping is a great verb for what the chainaxe does lmao
I'm stealing that
I think its a lot of fun as a weapon with some solid BPs. Definitely A tier.

wtf how did I not realize thrust would apply to rev special attacks? Thanks for the intel reg
My pleasure! Hope you have fun out there.
that sniper is so fired at the end lol
KILL CONFIRMED...oh no...
Just made a new sub here! Have you done the new eviscerator yet or the new shovels??
I'm working on it! I wish I had unlimited time but I do what I can!
Another great vid. I had one with infested + carapace. The mutants would be nice but decided to just get the blessings and lock those perks in place. This thing shreds!
Honestly infested could make sense considering the inferior horde clear this thing gets over the mk4. Maybe I'll get a chance to test that.

As an eviscerator fan I'd love it if you made a guide on the MK XV eviscerator, there's too few guides on it

what graphics do you use on this game?
Pretty much max. I have a 4090.
For the Mark IV is Bloodletter IV and Slaughterer IV a good enough combo? I don't have Headtaker but the the slaughterer can be switched out later.
It most certainly is. Slaughterer is a solid second pick.

Dreg Ragers are definitively more stagger immune than Scabs, but both gain extra immunity when swinging. @@wyxsg
