Ngl I’ve seen numerous van life creators but you are the only person (sans nomadic) that made me seriously want to start making this a reality for myself. It was a pipe dream a few years ago but I see this to be my peace and way to live how I want to. thanks man
Im pretty stoked i came across your channel, its just such a great way to end the day for me, the vids are clean and calming, the content is amazing and it really makes me wonder how interesting it is, this is the kind of lifestyle that makes you get used to changes so you can pretty much go anywhere if you dont feel like being at one spot, just up and go. This could probably be really close to what you would call freedom i'd say, i really like it and i think it would fit my persona as the van life is making you to be really productive and also really does work on the way of how the view of life is, it gives the cherry to the pie i guess. Looking forward for the upcommin vids, huge thank you for what you do!

Love this bro. Hitting very close to home today. After watching plenty of you and Mav’s videos I finally took my first solo trip and am currently on day two. I as well had a steak dinner with packet potatoes and roasted carrots in front of Smith Rock in Oregon. Best feeling ever. So glad I came across your feed to give me that extra push and motivation. @@powerofthetrident7940 I personally love this lifestyle and feel very comfortable in my van but it's definitely not for everyone. I think Ryan's videos really show an honest and accurate look of this lifestyle so if you think it looks like something you could do, give it a try! I live in Canada and doing full-time vanlife is just not possible for me right now so I spend winters in the city to work and then road trip in my van the other 6 months of the year.
@powerofthetrident7940 just make sure you're doing something to make retirement possible, remote work or some sort of passive income. Living the van cheap is easy, but when you're 60 and this life isnt compatible, you'll have screwed yourself if you lived this long term.

This was great. I love that you don't make van life look like drudgery all the time. I watch a few van lifers on RUclips and most of them kinda' make it seem like everyday is doing stuff to the vehicle they live in and most of it not fun. In one of your vids I was watching this morning you talked about how if a person is doing van life to "find themselves," they probably aren't going to be very happy with it. Yeah, I know crap happens and repairs have to be done and maintenance but that's true of any lifestyle really. Thanks for showing that a van life isn't all about living on 4 wheels and that's it's totally what you make of it.

we always setup our projector when we camp. We have a large RV so we just hang our screen right on the side of the RV. all our neighbor's come over with their lawn chairs and just chill....
I love your videos, they are quite addictive, and they make me feel very peaceful after a day of work. I love seeing that there are alternatives that I was unaware of.

Your videos are so awesome. This makes this life so attractive. I turned my life upside down a few years ago and moved from Canada where I was born and raised to live in the Turks and Caicos and it’s been a great adventure but I’m thinking this would be so fun going across Canada. Hmmmmm

Loll, he usually uses the actual steak one! I'm guessing he either ran out or accidentally swapped them this time. Figures they probably taste similar, especially once it's also basted with butter, garlic, and rosemary.

Hey Ryan, I know this might not go very will with your current setup with the awning and such but... just an idea. Maybe you can try hanging your projector screen against the side of the van to reduce the wind movements. Might help you get your k/d up!

Should just get an awning attached like everyone else. Most of them are set up by a crank or if you're the type, there's automatic ones that close with the smallest bit of wind. That one that you pulled out the back when sailing. That one leg fell over and the awning was like "Bye Felicia"😂
Wouldn't be a bad idea too attach a Awning to side.. quite simple and mechanical ( if get fancy)

You stayed the night in Atascadero Home Depot. Then you went and shopped in San Luis Obispo. Then went to the Arroyo Grande Walmart. And I think you camp the night by Cachuma Lake.

Starlink and satelite phone is needed when you're in the mountains, there's version on that lil stove that uses wood. It's very interesting to use.
I just found your channel last night and I’m really enjoying it. I was surprised you’re heading up here to Alaska I don’t see a lot of RUclipsrs taking trips up here with vans they usually do it off camera.
My partner and I are wanting to take a trip from Alaska down to their home state Nebraska so watching your content helps me realize what stuff we’ll need and how van/car life would be

Awesome video. We in South Africa get heat (where I am), up to 45 °C which is 113 °F.. So heat I know, cold not so much, sometimes when it's very bad it's -4°C, but not really lower than that where I am at.

That is my favorite brand of instant mashed potatoes. They are always delicious. I tried another brand recently because the tiny store I was at did not have these good ones, and the other brand was so tasteless that I threw it away. These are the best.
