I’m never going to make this, but by goodness it’s a great video to watch whilst you’re in the bath with a face mask on. Looking forward to your next one.
Loved watching part 1; can't wait to see part 2. I have some dies that cut the houses now, but my first efforts were like yours, designed by me and cut out by hand. Not as elaborate though. I still have the first one (gave most of mine away); it's pink, (painted by me) and decorated w/ an image of a vintage snowman, and pieces I cut for the windows and door; some stamping on the roof, and of course glitter, 'snow' and some tinsel. I used a cereal box instead of cardstock. It's quite charming and i'll never part with it b/c it was a labor of love. Thanks for doing the videos showing us your work!
Amazing that they are made from just card stock!! I was thinking if use a circle die the size of Dollar Tree tea light to cut in base it would light up.
I had never heard of Putz houses before, and then I was on Pinterest and I saw a guide on how to make them, and I just fell in love with these gorgeous little paper houses. I love the one you made in this video, it's so sweet. I've printed off the template that you very kindly left a link to and I've got lots of glitter so I'm going to make one asap.I don't have any of the fake snow that you put on your house, but I was thinking of mixing white glitter with clear glue and using that instead, what do you think?
I'm making a comment b/4 watching the video b/c I'm so excited to see this; I saw on your FB page that you'd be posting it today and I'd forgotten; what a nice surprise this evening. I love putz houses.
Would you do some more Putz house videos? I know the process is similar but the product would be different. Haven't watched the fake gingerbread one yet. I am saving it for later. Thank you for doing these!!!
stella broadway Hi! So glad you love my videos! I made all the patterns and I plan to sell them so I don’t give the patterns away .LOL But you can somehow enlarge the pattern I did give you !:)Thanks!
I printed the template from the link you gave and it is much smaller than your house. Did you print it on an 8x11 piece of cardstock? Can't wait to try this! Thanks!
@@thepinktree3490 sorry if you got the wrong impression but i just wanted to look. your houses are beautiful..also i got good painting ideas for the ones i have built.

Laughing Basset Nope it’s not a craft for everyone!LOL But I knew people would enjoy to see how I make them ! In the tub or out !🤣
Very nice, but I must say I'd want to work slowly and use wet wipes to clean all excess glue. Lovely looking end result. Thank you.
my word you put a lot of love into these houses...no wonder you are published!! my fairies would love those houses....xoxo
littleredwagonstudio Thank you ! I’ve made many with much more detail !xo

I'll be looking for it, like a child waiting for Santa on Christmas eve, LOL.
Dinahsoar I love your enthusiasm!LOL
Quite fabulous, but one question; where is the door?
@@jeaniminer5560 If you google Putz houses lots of them don’t have one !Or one of the windows is kind of in a spot where a door would be!
Would you do some more Putz house videos? I know the process is similar but the product would be different. Haven't watched the fake gingerbread one yet. I am saving it for later. Thank you for doing these!!!
I may do another one!
Very cool. Any suggestions on how to make a pattern based on an actual church I know?
There are a few church patterns on Pinterest maybe use those as guides!
Super cute!
Thank you!
Have you ever tried art glitter glue. It's not glittery but it requires less and it dries faster!
I think I've used it in the past but not on my current projects!
@@thepinktree3490 I love it so much! It's a bit pricey but it lasts snd it works .. I do a lot of crafts and have h a d 1 bottle since September 2020!

Hi, New subscriber. x
where do we go to see the rest of your houses you built
Laurie Lewis Some are on my public Facebook page The Pink Tree.I only have one DIY made for one of them .I sell all my other ones .😊
@@thepinktree3490 sorry if you got the wrong impression but i just wanted to look. your houses are beautiful..also i got good painting ideas for the ones i have built.
Laurie Lewis Pinterest has lots of ideas too!
How large is the paper with the pattern?? Is it standard 8.5 x 11"? Seems the house is larger than what the printout is.
Frank Galica The whole pattern fits on one piece of paper !
Your pattern looks Biggar on your card papper ?
Can I order your these patterns on line ?
I have a free pattern on my Pinterest under my Putz house board and you can find me under Dawn Newell:)
Can you make a big house?
I may share a pattern of a bigger one someday!
@@thepinktree3490 would it be made from the same materials?
