Experienced divorce attorney here. I agree that marrying the wrong person could ruin your life. I see this every day in divorce court. I have also seen guys totally derail their lives by having a child with someone who they do not plan to marry or co-parent. You will get dragged through the child support and child custody courts when the time and money would be better spent building a great life. Bottom line: focus on becoming the very best version of yourself. Make good decisions. Stay safe out there!

Currently going through a divorce… and let me tell you… I was pressured into it, and I did it to live someone else’s dreams, and because I thought it was what I was supposed to do. I didn’t have the self confidence to say I wasn’t really ready at that point, and that I wasn’t going to commit to anything until I felt 100% ready… Things I’ve learned… NO ONE under 25 should get married… period. Your brain chemistry and very personality will be TOTALLY different at 18 then at 25. It’s a dice roll that you and your spouse will even like each other later! Also, I’ve been beginning to notice another woman these days, and I firmly believe that the women you need to be going after are the ones you never really thought you’d go for, but also somehow make you want to be a better person. I honestly don’t comment on many RUclips videos. I can heavily relate to a lot of the things said in this video and it’s depressing as 💩. But if it doesn’t kill you it makes you stronger? I’ve failed at a few things this year but I have to take the back end of the year and make the most and smash into 2024.
My life is apparently ruined. I married the wrong person when i was super young, and we ended up having 2 kids. The rest i am doing ok, but #2 and #3 are the worst! Never again. Mind you i have embraced being a father and really am super amazing dad (according to my kids and friends)

I hate that it's always "stop abusing drugs and alcohol" as if alcohol is something you have to say extra because it isn't one. It's not. There is another problem with having a baby with someone when you are not ready. It is proven that certain and more dominant behaviors can get passed on through inheritance. If you and your partner are both volatile, verbally or physically abusive, have a tendency to yell and scream, or generally upset or unhappy... those traits can be passed on to a child at the time of conception. So, if you now have a child you can't handle because of their behavior, it's because both of you put that into your child. You sealed those propensities for undesirable behaviors in them.
