The judge will tell him something, and he says, "PROVE IT!" Then she proves it and he's like, "Naw, that don't count." What a twat. I can't imagine how anyone deals with him. He's gaslights constantly and talks in circles. It would be maddening to spend one whole day with him.
THAT'S why I feel sorry for his mother. I birthed a kid just like that. He was born arguing with the doctors about they way they pulled him out of me. He argued constantly with everyone. he became an attorney.
The "jurisdiction" argument. They always cite a case where they can challenge it. But that is whether it is FEDERAL or STATE/LOCAL. They misinterpret this as "over me, as I have opted out."
I believe the ID says only for ID, so he should not have been driving , right. *I just watched the ending of this video. How did this attorney miss the big red letters that clearly said 'this is not a drivers license'🤦♀️
Started watching you during the Depp/ Heard case and have been watching ever since. I love that you take an unbiased approach to these trials while giving your opinion in an appropriate manner.
He's definitely not stupid but he's extremely ignorant in many ways and he's certainly not as smart as he thinks he is.. I think for the most part he's just a very very skilled manipulator and much of his 'smarts' is just a mechanism he's developed in his endless attempts at manipulating everyone around him.
Would love to see a hardass judge watch and comment on this case. I know this judge is a total badass, and she is patient beyond measure. What would have happened if this was some old guy judge who had zero compassion and a power trip? She has compassion because clearly she wants him to have a fair trial. Period. Curious...
Shaving those nasty, musty fake dreads, exchanging his skanky jeans and Brewers slides (which he kept calling 'Packers flip flops') for a big boy's suit, and taking an occasional shower has helped alter his appearance drastically, also. lol. He's gross. His ghastly, talon-like fingernails are the only thing left on him to reflect the unwashed gremlin that he was prior to his arrest for the parade attack. Erika said that his personal hygiene is horrifically lax, and that he never washed or groomed himself. I find Erika's contention that the reason Officer/Chief Rebecca Carpenter thought his jeans were 'soft pants' and not denim jeans, was because he wore items for weeks at a time between showering himself or washing the clothing, and they were probably so filthy that they felt greasy and soft, more akin to sweatpants or joggers than jeans.
Once again thank you. I simply CAN NOT waste another day watching this insanity. Made me literally sick last week and I'm just recovering. So hard to look away though. THIS commentary and summary is the ONLY sane way to watch.
His mother said that he didn't even know what he did. He's not medicated for his "illness" They DID subpoena his mother but withdrew that. But his mother who he's obviously speaking to is telling him that he's coming across as bad. So after the first week, he stopped his shenanigans and put on a suit. He's now gained a Bible too. It's all an act, but I'd suggest he's possibly got some sort of aspergers syndrome judging by him not having any feelings about what happened. No empathy. Just fake tears and a Bible with a Harry Potter book in the middle of it. It's embarrassing how he goes from gang banger to Bible boy. I don't think so. And I cannot wait for sentencing and moreover, the judge's final remarks which he CANNOT interrupt! She will unload on him for wasting time. For sovcidiot arguments. A frivolous waste of time. I hope she absolutely destroys him. Guess who's going to be dragged away screaming at the court, off to do 7 life sentences. *DARRELL BROOKS!*
the whole pre-trial offer discussion was nothing more than a delay tactic IMO because any offer that included him going to prison he wasnt interested in because he actually believed he was winning....
Building the case: Perfect timing! I just went back and watched the District Attorney's opening statements... I had miss it and watching helped me understand where they were going. And of course your commentary helps me even more.
When he continues to ask about this jurisdiction riff, she held her breath and closed her eyes as the jury walked in. I bet she went to her happy place!
He's such a bad liar. First of all, of course his prior counsel informed him of the plea offer. They're required to go to him with any offer, and they did not deviate from that ethical obligation somehow to intentionally avoid notifying him of a plea offer extended. No appellate court or bar association would ever believe him that they didn't tell him, especially when he has ripped up court orders and other documents on camera and then lied repeatedly about not ever recieving the documents. He's thrown away documents and then lied and said he never recieved them. He's refused to accept documents served upon him while in his cell and then lied about recieving them. If he said prior counsel never brought a plea offer to him and they said they did, it would be over and no one would believe him. He's shown himself to be an absolute shameless and degenerate liar over and over throughout the trial, and his word would hold zero credibility with any higher court. My guess is that prior counsel, knowing what an absolute a** and complete reprobate he is, saw those types of issues coming from a mile away and made notes as to when, exectly, they notified him of the plea offer. Contemporaneous records from an attorney would be all any bar association or higher court would need.
It’s crazy how you got 300k subscribers in two years brother, congratulations you deserve it. I was newish during the beginning of Karen Read and you are so professional. Youre a really admirable guy
His objection to the use of the name Brooks is that in the court filings it is written BROOKS. His argument is based, essentially, on winning an internet argument.
That's what I don't understand. If there's no parole, one life sentence is all anyone can give. That's why I think the court is almost being mocked because the most they can impose isn't enough for monsters like this.
"Where's the ICF" conversation, was driving me nuts. He's really trying his best to break this judge. He wants her to slip up, badly. He thinks he can get a mistrial somehow
The poor judge, I would’ve cracked day one. I have a hard time holding my tongue as it is as a mere watcher during a stream, no way I’d be able to hold myself together in court near him. I shoot off at the lips a little too much - why I’m not a judge and was never selected to be a juror lol. My only ONLY only gripe with the judge is how easily she gives in to explaining terms to him. He doesn’t listen. He just automatically thinks it’s an excuse to act as if everyone in that courtroom is out to get him and make everything unfair. Like when she was explaining cross and leading questions … just went in one ear and out the other. He still continued to get upset over it even after it was explained, so I find myself “shewwwwww’ing” a lot when she starts to hold his hand through it. Waste of time - time they’re already behind on because of him.
@@TwoBs it's abysmal, I concur. I live in Waukesha County, and my good friends wife was injured by the "Alegged Defendant". I'm glad this judge has better patience than me.

I think people should have to accept the "laws of the land" for the base of any argument prior to representing themselves just like witnesses swear to tell the truth. True & his mom doesn’t have a license either, nor is sh a driver. That was DB’s vehicle in her name only due to his many legal problems.

The judge will tell him something, and he says, "PROVE IT!" Then she proves it and he's like, "Naw, that don't count." What a twat. I can't imagine how anyone deals with him. He's gaslights constantly and talks in circles. It would be maddening to spend one whole day with him.
he is basically half of our population. Just remove the topic of subject matter jurisdiction and insert wearing masks or taking vaccines Same thing.
THAT'S why I feel sorry for his mother. I birthed a kid just like that. He was born arguing with the doctors about they way they pulled him out of me. He argued constantly with everyone. he became an attorney.
That's why NO ONE showed up for him.
Yup... it has "NOT A DRIVER LICENSE" in Big Red Letters across the front.
He even says his full name during his first few court appearances 🤦🏼♀️
Started watching you during the Depp/ Heard case and have been watching ever since. I love that you take an unbiased approach to these trials while giving your opinion in an appropriate manner.
Thank you dude, you clear up so much for me
This guy is not dumb at all. Sly, clever and diabolical. A scary combination.
Objection. 😉
Definitely diabolical.....I do not see clever or smart when I watch and listen. I see uneducated and an effort to sound smart.
I wouldn’t say he’s not dumb, because he is but he could have used the intelligence he does have in more constructive ways than he has
He's definitely not stupid but he's extremely ignorant in many ways and he's certainly not as smart as he thinks he is..
Period. Curious...
*This is an agonizing trial to listen to!* I can’t believe I’m even watching this. My boyfriend has been watching it. So now I am.
He was a lot slimmer at the time of arrest, he has bulked up and is wearing shoes
That's not me DARRELL BROOKS, I'm Darrell Brooks.
Once again thank you. I simply CAN NOT waste another day watching this insanity. Made me literally sick last week and I'm just recovering. So hard to look away though.
THIS commentary and summary is the ONLY sane way to watch.
His mother said that he didn't even know what he did.
He's not medicated for his "illness"
They DID subpoena his mother but withdrew that.
I am tired of everyone who is saying he is smart. He opens the door during every cross. I do not think he is smart.
I heard you speak on WFLA with JB. You're a true professional. Thank you for your insight. Subscribed!
When he continues to ask about this jurisdiction riff, she held her breath and closed her eyes as the jury walked in. I bet she went to her happy place!
Hope she gets a nice, long vacation somewhere warm after this so she can decompress and relax.
Missed the live today, but I am re-watching now (past midnite). Well worth it!!
I feel like he was being slow on purpose he’s very manipulative
And deceptive... he knows he's toast, but mistakenly thinks that he can maneuver himself out of a life in prison. Manipulative, deceptive and deluded!
He is a bonafide narcissist.
Which is why the height and weight ‘descriptions’ are approximate. Brooks is just being ridiculous
But if Darrell is allowed speaking objections the entire trial, how is it inappropriate for the prosecution once?
When he brings up SMJ the judge should just ignore him listen hiw he lies about not knowing about the offer but is put on record
Thanks for breaking it down - love your channel!
God its amazing this guy doesnt get on his own nerves
Narcissists never do.
I was thinking the same thing! 😂 This guy is unbelievable!
😂😂
how do you know he doesn't?
You know you fucked your life up when your plea deal is 6 life sentences plus some other jail time
That's what I don't understand. If there's no parole, one life sentence is all anyone can give. That's why I think the court is almost being mocked because the most they can impose isn't enough for monsters like this.
Life in prison with out parole, and all appeals denied. With all the evidence pointing to know one else should have been enough for know trial
I missed the live video. Looking forward to watching this. I'm so excited to hear what Peter has to say. 😊
Hello from Florida ! Been watching the case from the beginning.
How many sovereign citizen cases like this would it take to completely stall the courts and render them dysfunctional?
Canada understood this and enacted a law severely limiting these tactics in 2012 (Meads v Meads).
Well done Canada
'Your ignorance of the law is not a defence' He's not even pretending to know what he's asking with all these objections
He hasn't said 'enty' in a while
He was probably told of the offer early on but was not listening
In reply to would you let this person into your house- this is Wisconsin. We are pretty small town. Waukesha is a city but small town mentality. We generally trust. Probably a flaw in this age. But hey, we love people and try to give folks benefit of the doubt and help when we can. I can’t fault those witnesses.
Keep being kind 💜
Same with letting strangers use our cells. It's one Wisconsinite fault we will never apologize for or correct. #WisconsinStrong
The people who offered him kindness are not only an example of compassion but also of trust and neighborly-ness. The heartland is full of heart.
I just joined the cool kids club. Very excited. Love your work. Bravo re
Really objective assessment. Thanks. Always enjoy your approach. Hello from Sunny South Africa
Rewatch here because I seen you recapping this case and explaining his babble so Thank you amazing job
I thought the AH JD trial was hard to watch. This guy is something else! This judge is amazing
It didn’t matter what he called himself the judge allowed him to keep saying over and over again that he didnt to consent to his name. Surely by now the USA are discussing this case at length in the judicial system to stop these circuses happening again and again and again.
The plea was exactly as I thought they should offer. We charge you for the murders 6 consecutive life sentences, but hey we drop the other charges. 😂.we drop the reckless endangerment for the non injured people. How tempting.
At least we learned that he is a murderer but not a thief.
Gotta say what Natalie had guessed about his reaction to the judge being nice to him has been proven. He was so touched that that one guy was so kind. Letting him in giving him a sandwich and a jacket. I felt bad for him. Than I remembered. He's got an ex gf who kept coming back to him. She must have been nice to him. He called mamma who was worried about him
He had people who were nice to him
True, and he probably would have had more people in his life that were nice to him if he wasn’t such a narcissist and scumbag.
You forgot the part where he threw them under the bus at every opportunity. Look how he treated the sandwich guy on the stand. brooks is evil, he just is.
No way would I even open the door to strangers
Just watched mothers interview. She was subpoened but it has been withdrawn. My guess is because mom thinks he was out of his mind and didn't know what he was doing and says he doesn't remember. She also thinks he should get help instead of being sent to prison.
Must be a Wisconsin thing to let people use ur phone and come in your home..insane..
As a Waukesha resident - it’s a super kind community so him letting the guy in when it was as cold as it was, is not actually surprising
@@amwang Which sounds insane to me..can't imagine being that trusting..hopefully the day doesn't come when that trust is shattered 💔
@@amwang As a non- resident I have to say the one silver lining is seeing how wonderful the people of your community are!
Just joined. Amazing content! Very insightful. I’m hooked now. Keep up the amazing work ❤. I’ve been watching this trial(and many others) from the start.
It's not a drivers license it's a state ID it says NOT a DRIVERS LICENSE
His slow speed is him saying fu
17:07 DB was definitely messing with the wrong witness there. I totally missed the driver's license angle and just looked up what is height and weight was... LOL, the guy was spot on.
He killed 6 folks. What a piece of garbage. His statements should not even be taken seriously and Im tired of him saying "would it be fair to say."
He never objects to being called Mr. Brooks when he’s asked to remove his mask.
Yellow cake with chocolate frosting is the absolute best! My favorite too! I love your videos!
As for the deal......bring in the former attorneys and take a sworn affidavit about them giving him the deal.
Watching replay... Have to pause now and then. Brookes does my head in...
We have too many homeless people here in ca that aren’t taking their meds for their issues and are unstable in the neighborhood so I would not let a stranger in sadly
Lots of robberies these days
I wish there was more support for the homeless as well as those w mental health issues
Now I've started to watch almost everything sped up, because of you 😂😂😂
I think people should have to accept the "laws of the land" for the base of any argument prior to representing themselves just like witnesses swear to tell the truth. That would/should solve this circus, right?
I am German citizen but when I am im the US, I need to obey and accept the laws in the US and can't argue I am a German citizen and therefor I can't claim rules not applying to me!
And please stop giving him credit for the public defender's notes that he's reading off.
He didn't do any of that.
He's simply reading off their notes.
You can tell when he runs out of their questions.
Don't give him credit. He doesn't deserve it, and "he doesn't consent to being called that name!" 🤣🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Oh boy! Can't wait to hear Peter today!
