A great roundup, Michelle. I already have of couple in my Ravelry Favorites list, but with your suggestions I will soon be adding more. I really appreciate your concise and informative narrative, and I always look forward to your next visit.
Wow! More patterns to add to my ever growing list of Favorites/To Do! Some were already on my radar, like the Stag, the Letho, the Amy, but others I had never heard about and I'm looking forward to dive into these designer's pattern pages to see what they have to offer. When you mentioned making the November Oak with a gradient yarn as the background, I had images of the "Alaska" in my mind. That would really rock ! I went to a knitting/crafting event last weekend that was held outside in an apple orchard (Pomme de Laine) and it was cold, windy, cloudy and glorious! It was everything a knitter wants to feel to get into "sweater weather" vibe. I ended up buying a sweater quantity of Carpe Diem's Nueva to make the Whitmoor cardigan and/or pullover (not sure yet which) and I can already envision it taking form. My fingers are itching. As I'm watching your podcast, I'm finishing the first sleeve on the Wilfreda pullover with some gorgeous rustic natural color DK yarn by Les Brebis du Beaurivage and I just can't put it down. Soooo looking forward to wearing it this fall. I think we are privileged to live in an area - I live in Laval, Québec - where there are four seasons . As soon as we get tired of one, another one comes along! And we can make all the lovely patterns we covet and they will be appropriate for at least part of the year. Yé! Thank you for including those socks in your podcast, event though you won't go there. The Maple Leaf ones really spoke to me (I'm from Canada, eh?) and I have just the yarn to make these leaves with! Looking forward to hearing/seeing more of you in the near future
Thank you Michelle for such beautiful selection. As others, my favourites list is growing thanks to you... and some of your suggestions will go directly to the top, for sure... Thanks for presenting all these patterns without 'turning around the pot' as we say in French... straight, essential info and that's it.
Great episode. I was watching a podcast Clare Likes to Knit. She is based in Brisbane and was showing her sweaters that she has knit from Norah Gaughan and has the one that you mentioned.
The Stag Head Pullover picture is what made me click on the preview! It's awesome. 😍I also loooove the Promenade Blouse, Helia, and Bella Cardigan. November Oak is new to me too but I'm definitely going to check out that designer. Solid lineup, I love your taste! You've got yourself a new subscriber 🥰
Hi there ! Just wanted to say thanks for all these great patterns you're sharing with us. I already knitted the ridge in the summer based on your recommendations and will defo choose one of this list for the fall season!
great selection of patterns. The Stag Head pullover is on my mind for a few weeks already, I think its a piece of art. And also I want to knit Manon Cardigan for my mom, but waititng to see a few more finished objects from other people. Nice video as usually, thank you 🧡
Hi Michelle, really enjoyed the variety of knits you showcased. The Stag's Head sweater is already on my list as Norah Gaughan is one of my absolute favorite designers. She brings such a fresh slant to cable knitting and her '40 Timless Knits' book is a fabulous gift for a knitter. There's enough in there to keep them going for years! The other design I love, and a new designer to me, is November Oak by Jennifer Brou. I made the Helia by Joanna Ang last year for a friend and it was pretty straightforward but you really do need to keep track of the rows. I did it in a soft pink mohair-mix yarn and it turned out soft and snuggly and oh-so-feminine.
I'm currently knitting the Manon Cardigan and I'm absolutely in love with the pattern and the fit of it, making long sleeves though. Also planning on knitting the Helia and the Beatrix Cardigan this fall. Already got the wool and am looking forward to having those in my wardrobe. Great video as always.
I love the stoneknits socks. I have her first book of charming colourwork socks. And I've knitted a few. Colourwork can be kind of difficult while you're trying to manage tension, but for me, the 9 inch circular needles was the solution. I'll send you a pic of them
I love all the patterns you showed ❤ the amy slipover is very high on my list as well and i am going to order yarn for it on sunday 😍 super excited already!!!
I love how your tee can out. I too want to do the Letho cardigan as well as the Amy Slipover. Seeing the garment motivates me to make one!! All of your selections are just one of many reasons why I like your channel! If only I had😊 more time to knit.
Nice selection of patterns!! My hometown is Nyack ny. (Across the river). There’s a great LYS there called Knitting Nation. I highly recommend it. ! Great selection of yarn!
I have a love hate relationship with this podcast … you have just added 4 patterns to my queue … this is terrible … Thanks for finding these treasures. I had loved your Japanese selection :)
Love your choices. Not that I need inspiration my que is long. But finally some interesting stuff. My Bella cardigan is ready to cast on in a Bordeaux red alpaca yarn. But first I need to finish stuff. Have a great day
A great video as always, I've not added anything to my to-do list but it's given me some interesting thoughts. (Especially around those cardigans... Somehow I got interested in buttons recently and it may very well turn out that I will be looking out for a project and colors to suit buttons instead of the other way around.) I've made the Amy slipover. I used totally not the recommended yarn, my yarn was mostly merino with silk and cashmere added and it was 1500 m in 100 g so I held it triple. I think I got gauge, at least stitch wise. I love this piece but I would never attempt to wear it without some lighter garment underneath. It is very open at the sides. Like, I don't want to show what this would show as I move around or as the wind is blowing sideways to me. I guess this depends on fit and fabric but, eh... nope. For me this is strictly a piece that I wear over something.
Great roundup! I knit the harris hood for my MIL last year and she loves it, I’ve been meaning to make one for myself too (it’s a fast knit, mine was done in a few days)
I really like your list, I actually have very similar style. I have Helia on my needles for a while, I have to finish it this season, cause it's just stunning. And I'm making it in a raspberry tweedy yarn. The stag head pullover is in my favourites for a looong time now and I absolutely love it. I hope I can start it this year.
The Stag Head Pullover is up high on my list, too. But for me it's more of a winter pattern since I associate deer with that season. =) I found the perfect yarn for this project, a warm white with speckles in reds and pinks in the right yarn weight, from a small manufacture in the UK (and it's even named after a wintery episode of the Gilmore Girls - how perfect is that?).
Ive had the Stag Head pullover in my favorites for a whiiile and you're not making putting off knitting it easy for me! Lol. I have a The Witching Hour sweater by Hannah Mann/Dear Ingenue, on the needles right now, which is a raven skull colorwork pattern, so really, me saying i don't have a "fall knit" would be a blatant lie. But maybe next year!! Thanks for the video, I've been loving your channel, and particularly the "pattern roundup" videos! You have a style that i find very intriguing and point out patterns i would often overlook/not see the appeal of on my own.
I just looked the Witching Hour up and wow! That’s stunning. Is it a difficult pattern? If you can do that I’m sure the stag head would be a piece of cake 😁
Hold on.. Did you say "I'm Dutch"? Ik sta even versteld... Dat had ik nooit geraden (I knew you were half Japanese). Im Dutch, my name is Wineke and I live in Amsterdam (like natasja hornby😅) 🐏🌞💕
loves this round up! so fun- that stag sweater is stunning! so many of these are now in my favorites too! thanks!
You are so welcome!
Gah…. The Norah Gaughan piece is just artwork! What a beautiful piece . Thank you for the “knit-spiration “. So enjoy this!
Yes! Thank you!
Awesome podcast!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lovely selection
Thank you! Cheers!
the "punkins" tho - ADORABLE!!!
I know!
I enjoy your podcasts so much. Easy vibe, lovely voice, calm and kind approach. Thank you!

You pick the best patterns! Beautiful taste.
Love your choice of fall knits🧶! Very eclectic with something for everyone.
Thank you! 😊
Thank you Michelle ! I knitted the hoodie, i love it, i feel so warm in it ;)
Wonderful!

i have tested the november oak sweater. It knits up super fast and it looks beautiful from the inside as well!
Oh no kidding! I can’t wait to try it

Thanks for watching! The Stag Head is dreamy, if a little intimidating 🤣
@@easilyknitfluenced def a challenge! But it will make it even more satifsying to wear!

Hi Michelle. I absolutely love the November Oak by Jennifer Brou! I've gptta gp to sleep, so I'll watch the rest of the podcast later. Thanks!
❤️❤️❤️
These are great patterns. 🧶 Love the color of your Lakes Pullover! ❤️
Thank you! 😊

Thank you! I am very intimidated by color work on such a tiny circumference 😹
I love all the patterns you showed ❤ the amy slipover is very high on my list as well and i am going to order yarn for it on sunday 😍 super excited already!!!
Wonderful! Happy knitting!
What great pattern, the November oak ist beautiful and the Helia too. Thank you
It really is! Hope you knit some of them!

Also, I love Pick Up Every Stitch. I went once and had one of the most beautiful days of my life ❤❤❤❤
Aren’t they fabulous there? I wish I could hang out in the shop every day
Thanks so much for watching! The Amy in person is so lovely, I wasn’t convinced just from the pictures but seeing it in real life clinched it for me

🤣🤣🤣
My queue is so long now that I’ve accepted I’ll never in my lifetime get through it. I view it as aspirational now😁

Oh that’s good to know! I am always happy to amend my plans, regardless I think it’s a gorgeous garment
Great roundup! I knit the harris hood for my MIL last year and she loves it, I’ve been meaning to make one for myself too (it’s a fast knit, mine was done in a few days)
Oh good to know! I want to give it a shot because I think I’d actually use it, unlike all the other scarves I’ve knit in the past
thank you for your very interesting videos on knitting and choosing
Patterns. I am from France even if I sometimes have difficulty translating😂
You’re welcome 😊
i love my amy slipover, it was a slog to knit at times but i really love it. i made a second at a larger gauge as well.
It’s so beautiful. Definitely high on my list

That sounds lovely! How is the Helia pattern to knit?
@@easilyknitfluenced I find it easy to follow, no issues so far :)
I found my one pair of knitting needles US 6. So this round up hit just at the right time.
Yesss serendipity!
I have been dying to make the stag head sweater! I have the perfect red warn just waiting for it 🦌
You list looks so similar to mines, and includes some of the same exact patterns!
The Stag Head Pullover is up high on my list, too. But for me it's more of a winter pattern since I associate deer with that season. =)

I think someone just made the stag head into a pillow. I don't think there's a pattern for it per se. (But it wouldn't be hard to do.)
Ohh gotcha yea that makes sense
