fun story, when i was like 5 or 6, my best friends dad took us to a park, and then he told us to stay on one place and that he will come out to smoke for like 5 minutes. we were sitting there for an HOUR. Gladly I had my little flip phone with me for cases like these, so I called my mom and she same to pick me up and like asked where the hell he went. Apparently, he went, smoked, went to his house, took a fricking shower, went to the store to buy something and came back. My mom was PISSED, so yeah, uhm me and her are still best friends but my mom still doesn't let me go anywhere with their family.
I'm a new dad and I can't even begin to imagine the amount of trauma I would cause my daughter if I dropped her off at a relatives house telling her I'll be right back and then just never showing back up, not even calling her. This woman is not a mother, she is a horrible and selfish person. Good on the sister for seeing the situation and stepping up so this child doesn't feel more unwanted than they already are. The only good thing here is that the child is away from this horrible woman and in a loving environment.

Family friends of her side told us that she was perfectly fine and was living a double life. All that happened after my father suffered from cardiac arrest and became disabled. We had the choice to follow our mother or stay with our dad. We obviously stayed with our dad and even tho it was hard ( he had suffered multiple heart attacks and flatlined twice) we kids are somehow still here, only thanks to him and his sacrifices.
I'm really glad the judge said and did what she did. As someone who didn't have a mom much growing up or a mother figure I really hope that little girl gets the love she needs from her tia. (aunt). I’d love to have had my oldest sister roasted by this guy. She was the most evil person I know. When her oldest child was about 7 months old she left him all day with a babysitter to go dirtbiking and impress some dudes she never even met before then. She was in the hospital for hours before the police called us about her son. He had no clothes and my mom had to go fetch him in freezing cold weather because the babysitter was high as a kite. I wanted to take custody of him then. I’d always been more bonded with him than the other kids.
My mother did that to my brother and I when we were 3 & 4 years old. Our hearts were broken. Our soul was crushed and neither of us were ever able to trust again. I had a father who was just angry he got "stuck" with the kids. He refused to talk to us. I survived because I prayed and developed my talents - did well in life - after much pain and counseling. My brother died at age 21 - he never recovered. If you can't be a parent you still have to be a human being.
