- Hurricane Ian left millions without power and an unknown number of people dead as it moved through the state of Florida on Wednesday and Thursday, likely causing billions of dollars worth of damage in the process.
Sheriff Carmine Marceno of Lee County took a tour of the wreckage to begin assessing damage caused by the Category 4 storm.
Now, with the storm headed towards South Carolina, residents of the Palmetto State are preparing for disruptions to their routines and potential damage on Friday. The storm is also expected to have impacts in North Carolina.

Reminded me of Hurricane IKE that we experienced in 2008!!! It hit my house (Houton, Texas)….and took A MONTH TO GET OUR ELECTRICITY BACK!! It was in August…..HOT AS HELL!!!!!!! Glad we didn’t get any Hurricane this year!!!
What happened..this was my wonderland growing up...ive been in hurricanes..but this one is so horrific
Dammit Ian.
wish the video wasn't going so fast
Yeh
Omg
🙏❤️🇬🇧
I am sorry for all people suffered from the Hurricane, but can someone explain-why very often a central picture is shown, and two side camera's images that are not clear and are very uncomfortable to be watched? Why not only one screen picture?
What happened here
nice that's why you should leave there
According to the Siena College Institute in Loudonville, NY :
All I see is devastation to buildings that never should have been put there to begin with. But, wealthier people tend to build in beautiful, but very risky places and then have a tendency to want everybody else to pay for the devestation. Nature is just taking back what belongs to it.
Damn all these million dollar homes are all gone basically . That sucks..
im sorry but all those poor plp who lost there million dollar homes well nothing , im done , ur covered im sure

Doesn't look half as bad as normal. And it's strange and not seeing videos all over Facebook. Anybody else getting a strange vibe on this?
