- It's been several days since Hurricane Ian ravaged Florida, but the flooding in some areas is getting worse. This video shows water rising in Seminole County, which is near Orlando.
This video was shot on Monday, October 3, 2022.

A few years ago after Category 5 TC Winston the Fiji Islands Government started relocating coastal villages to higher ground. This was done because of rising sea levels and future stronger tropical cyclones.

Crocs aren't really here, only alligators. You can tell which is which because one will catch ya later, and the other you'll see in a while ;) But yea - lots of wildlife is finding new areas.

I am truly saddened by the losses that hurricane Ian caused. I must say though that this is nature reclaiming what belongs to it. No matter how hard we try, nature will always win. The water levels keep rising after over a week. Ian has changed the landscape in its wake.

With all that standing water, I hope that there is some kind of plan to keep the skeeters under control. This has got to be horrible for those who have been under this continued stress. May God be with them during this difficult time.

I was in Zone A mandatory evacuation zone. Luckily my family had the good sense to stay with some friends who offered us their home to ride it out but we lost our entire house. Everything inside was destroyed

FL will be below sea level in the future. I heard Florida will be under water, and California will break off the US after a major an earthquake.

Other than some business which use landlines to connect their credit card machines to banking networks. No one uses a phone anymore that requires a wire to the home. The telephone manholes are now used only for fiber optic cables which are only 1 inch in diameter. All the cables in the telephone vaults are pressurized and waterproof. Fiber optic cables use only 3% of the space in the telephone cable vault's conduits.
