Holly Sht Do you know how long ive been searching for exactly how to do this!??? BRO now i can use my midi instrument! finally after 2 years of not being able to use it!!

brooo i love you.
ive just been using all my midis without the knobs and stuff forever lmaooooooooooo
I see ya! ^_^ The new age of using the knobs and stuff right changes TODAY!
I tried but it says "You didn't tweak any control (!)"
same bro, did you solve it?
So... you solved it??
Finally I've found a video like this. It really helped me a lot, so thank you very much! However I still have a few questions:
- How do I assign the transport buttons (mine are not working, i habe a novation 61 sl mkii btw.)?
- How can you use e.g. knobs to scroll through patterns and tracks?
- When you're in the mixer, how do you control more than 9 mixer channels (e.g. from 10-19) if you only have 9 faders?
I'd be very grateful if you could help me. Have an awesome day!
This was quite helpful since these informations showed me a lot concerning work flow in FL Studio. I was wondering if you could set up multiple banks of assignment to quickly switch between many different functions. So I have the same question as the poster above me
you sir have made my life a billion times easier. thank you so much!
after a year of having an akai mpk261 and fl12 finally found this video. Bless up
Axiom gen 2 is actually on the list of Fl studio list for keyboard.
Do you know why it can't work with the FPC! I mean for each individual pad's pitch knob?
It's probably a different Midi CC each time. So you might have to adjust each pitch manually or something like that.
Justin Omoi thanks man!

how can I link
the playbutton?
I'm still voting on Jon Bellion for vocal tutorials
Ik this is old, but I’ve done everything you said, and yet, it still seems to not work. When I tweek the knob after selecting multilink, and after pressing over ride generic link, when I twist the knob on my controller, the knob on screen just instantly goes down or up, there’s no control
great video appreciate you!
hey Justin could u pls upload a vid tut for the performance mode on Fl studio something like how to setup ur devices to Performance mode. Thx for all the great tuts they helped me alot

Thanks, But can anyone help me with assigning knobs to multiple instances of same library in kontakt (Having same CC's and different channels and ports in BRSO Articulate)?
thanks man !
But how to have the settings saved ? Like everytime I open fl studio I always have to re-map them. Anyway to have a setting to be saved and no need to re-map it ?
I messed up linking my faders. Is there a way to reset everything? Thank you.
Got to
The controller tabs to delete on left Collum
Man this really helped me so much !!!! thank you
Thanks a lot 👍🏻🙏🏻
So this applies to any midi keyboard correct? I'm getting an Arturia minilab mk2
Franktaku yup
This video really helped me ,thx bro
Do you know if there is any way of using the faders on the next channels (e.g. channel 10, channel 11 etc) just like there are arrows to use the piano keys octaves up or down?
Would this be possible for assigning octave changes on a midi keyboard? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere!
Awesome! Very helpful, thank you for posting! One issue I am facing is that when I link my MPK mini to FL Studio 20 the knobs will work but my external mouse (I have a Mac) will stop working. Any idea why/solution?
WHAT UPPP
ITS DAASHIIIEE!!!
Hi! Do you have any video about mapping the channel rack to the controller (specifically drumpads)? I have been trying to map for example a Kick from the channel rack with the first pad of my drum pad, snare with the second pad and so on but is not letting me, only works with FPC but is not the way I would like to make it, can you help me please? I am triying to map a Nord Drum 3p and a Novation launchkey MK2 49. Would be great If you can help me with this. I´m going crazy. :/
Hey! Yeah for sure I can actually make a video on that if anything!
But pretty much, you would have to add a Layer into the Channel Rack.
Set the different sounds in the channel rack as children in the Layer.
And set the Zone of the sounds so that each of them are on a key of your choice.
I'll make a video on this for you some time on Sunday, or maybe even Saturday if I have the time!
Am I missing something? How did you get to that screen to change the faders?
Thank you. This definitely helped. :)
I have a problem, when I exit the fl studio and open it again, the software does not detect the knobs and faders, why is that? It's all good until I restart fl, then I have to set up all over again. Please help.
After one links a knob or fader to their conroller, let's say you wanted to unlink a fader or knob from a particular insert, is it possible?
thanks so much
Great video man it was very helpful !!! Keep up the good work 👍
thx a lot bro
great concise tutorial.. thanks!
I read that FL has a mode called pickup (same as abletons soft midi takeover) does anyone know how to enable that setting?
Thanks man it really helped
This has been really helpfull, thanks a lot!
Thank you so much justin, this is so helpful!!
You're welcome ^_^
I liked it very much
Thank you, man. That helped me a lot!!
can you please explaine me how to link a transport controller to that of fl studio
Any time I try to link a dial on my midi to a setting in FL studio it just turns everything up to 100 without letting me adjust it is there a way to fix this?
Big help, bruv! Thanks!

In due time!
I'm trying to link fruity scratcher to the modulation or pitch knob (because I think it may be easier to make a more "natural" performance with the knob than a mouse) but the way you show it doesn't seem to work with the scratcher. My midi keyboard is a keystation 49. Could you explain or show how to proceed?
I understood the fader part but How do I assign fl studio transport panel from my midi keyboard? Thanks.
Hey!
If you go into your Midi Option, under the output ( bottom half of the window ) Click on your keyboard, and under the keyboard type option ( where it should say generic controller ) Click it, and find your brand keyboard. It doesn't have to be the exact keyboard model. But click on that, close the window, and test the transport tools out.
If it doesn't work after scrolling through the keyboard types, you may have to look into your keyboard's manual under the Midi CC Area to see how to set those up accordingly.
Hi! maybe you can help me with small problem. I have midi controller notation impulse 61 and I know how to link the knobs and faders in FL Studio but my issue is: When I’ve linked some knobs in some VSTi and use the same knobs in different VSTi and for example in one window I will set one knob on 50% ‘volume’ and then I will jump into second window with other VSTi and touch the same knob to control that the value jumping straight up to 50% to the same position what I’ve been left on the other VSTi. Is there is any way to fix that? I’ve already looked into to both manuals fl and impulse and nothing found 😑
Holy shit, nice fkin video bro!
Thank you so much, Justin, here mastering the FL and midi keys!
One question:
I use key lab essential 49, I just started to map the faders and also have a MASTER fader. So I link to the controller, IT WORKS! BUUUUTTTT
when I move the fader on the keyboard... is not showing the movement on the DAW. The sound goes up or down, all great. But doesn't show it moves. Weird.
Another thing, it affects the overall sound perception.
If I have my midi key master fader in 100%, but in the DAW is at 50%, will listen to a lower volume. Does not shows the real value.
Any suggestions welcome. is a little weird, but anyway..will keep trying to find the way!
Hey!
If you've linked the Mixer's Fader with the keyboard's fader, it should show up as movement in the Mixer window. This new Update for FL Studio has quite some bugs in it. That could be the reason why at the moment. Just make sure that you are linking the Fader volume, and not the sample's volume. Just in case! :P
For the 2nd Question, If the fader on the keyboard is set to 100 ( all the way up ) while the loaded project shows 50 ( last point before saving) It will stay at 50% until you move the fader around.
I believe that if the faders were "motorized faders," the faders on the keyboard/ device would automatically snap into the right places.
Along with that, there is 2 "master volume" values within FL Studio.
One Located at the top, near the "master pitch" knob. It is a knob. Adjusting that knob WILL NOT EFFECT THE FINAL EXPORT. The only difference is the level that you'll be listening to the whole project with. This is something ideal for those who do not have easy access to their headphone amp (or don't like to adjust them over and over)
The Second One is located in the Mixer Window. Adjusting that one WILL adjust the final outcome of the song.
I hope this helps! ^_^
How can I assign different sounds to faders or knobs
thanks bro and keep going
what if nothing happens when you tweak the manual controls
What midi keyboard do you use , can you suggest some good and in budget midi keyboards pleaseeeeeee
i work with different vst, how do you change between them with the keyboard? my keyboard its not a midi controller, its a regular keyboard used like a midi, it only has buttons to change instruments, and when i play live i dont want to change it with the mouse
