Personally, I have found it easier to not start on an edge on the first turn. When you control the middle, you get more options for lines; also you can use the cards closest to the edge in order to block the other players. Just like chess or connect four, the middle is quite important in sequences.
Quick first fast play. Divide and speed play. Also, like in poker look at the players eyes!! Then you can set up sequence play. I.E you have 1 eye and 2 eye and the dead card!!! I drink and play games!!!
The wife and I are really enjoying this strategy game. To me it alway makes sense to build out fron the centre. Building patterns in the middle give you more permutations / Opportunities . If your cards are on the bottom /outter lines then take advantage of the wild card corners or hold them back to block your opponent. Great game thou.
Just started playing this game and it's really an enjoyable game. I'm not really into games that involve cards because I get bored quick with it but this is an exception.
Thanks for the strategies! Suggestion for your next video: consider lowering the background music volume as it nearly drowns your voice, Again, a very helpful video,
Playing on the edge first move is a terrible move, you limit 2 directions, whereas if you control the middle you have way more options In the mid game.
I am wondering if the Queen of hearts or the 9 of hearts wouldn't be better as a 1st move? in the middle of the board they are separated by only 1 space.
First I want to say I've only just found your channel, and if it's all like this, you're onto a winner - excellent video! I just got this Sequence today, and the first games have been rather mixed as far as who win was concerned. I kinda figured out the same tactics for using the Jacks as you suggest here, but everything else you show in this video was completely new. As I said, this was the first time I've played this game, and we played quite a few times. I win three of them, and my opponents cheated all the others!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Still, now I've got your strategies primed and ready, I'll get them the next time (this weekend).
Does a sequence have to be exactly 5 chips long? If you end up with a series of 6 or 7 chips, does that still count as a sequence since it has 5 chips in it?
Question about strategy 3 If an opponent is blocking where you want to go AND you don’t have the required card, is it a good idea to use a one eyed jack followed by a two eyed jack?
Do you draw a card after playing a one eyed Jack and remove opponent token? My aunt says the instructions say once you remove token “your turn is over” and she reads that as that player loses a draw card after their turn. Please help clear up this dispute
No , but the cards are not randomly placed. Find 2 of hearts in center. follow the hearts , then the next suit. makes it easier to find card locations.

Esoecially the four cards right in the middle, as they can be connected to the corner

Thx so much me and my family are doing a tournament. Never played this game so I’m making sure me and my fellow teammate who has not played too wins
Completely agree. I wouldnt listen to her tips. Start in the middle
Very helpful video indeed! I agree about background music. It is very distracting to older folks😅😅😅. We loved that you spoke clearly.

Thanks for your comment - There is something to be said with working in the center and blocking your opponent.

Amazing thank you so much, can't wait for the weekend...

Just started to play I’m fresh I need some tactics and ideas how to play smart
Thanks. I like this game. But it I have no strategies.

Yes
Well explained, thanks
Thanks for the good information in this video. But the music is super distracting.
Question about strategy 3
If an opponent is blocking where you want to go AND you don’t have the required card, is it a good idea to use a one eyed jack followed by a two eyed jack?
Yes, I won countless games, since I used that strategy to prevent my opponent from winning.
Thank you
My family loves this game
It's a fun one! Thanks for watching and for your comment
I’m guessing you’re a teacher? Your explanations are so thorough! 👍🏻
Thanks for the comment! I'm not a teacher but love introducing games to people in a way that they understand - I'm glad you enjoyed it
SEEMS difficult, but it would probably get easier over time (1 eye vs. 2 eye Jack) and how quantity of players affects some aspects of playing.
thanks, your explanations are great.
i will never dislike you
awe, thank you!

Can’t draw card
Thank you I’m ready to play
Which is the best game
What is the point of the game or goal?
Great video and great strategies!!
This could be a great video if it weren’t for the too loud music. You don’t need music at all.
Can someone make an app where I can punch in the card I'm looking for on the board and my mini-board app will light up the 2 locations? Please!
No , but the cards are not randomly placed. Find 2 of hearts in center. follow the hearts , then the next suit. makes it easier to find card locations.
@@jamesba4206 Thanks.
Ditch the music!
Wow, you're the best! \o/
Can you use a one eye jack to remove a sequence
If you get 10sequence in a row is it Sequence
depends where you have started your first sequence from
Interesting video, but the background music was annoying.
can yoiu use a two eyed Jack to place a chip on a corner free space top control it?
Please recommend us a game
Nice. 👏👏👏👍
Thank you 👍
Agree
thanks for watching!
sorry but i did not understand
the 1 eye jack
the shittiest game i've ever played. 90% luck, 9% look, 1% brain
This game was fun 3x2 with beers and shots. Probably not fun for 1 on 1.
