Been watching pro league since pre-LCS days and I'm high AF on hopium rn. TL is looking actually competitive vs good teams, and when it's all said and done if C9 can reach the potential of their roster we really could be sending two good teams to worlds.

@@rotcoke652 Idk if C9 has the mid or botlane to compete against top tier Korea and china but I am confident in TL botlane and mid, Yeon is a legend imo , he is so much ahead of any NA talent i have seen recently. and APA is also playing out of his mind. The only weakness on this team is UMTI's showcalling and inting.

@@tinecchi3648 yeah but i dont think its because NA is all of a sudden better, i think eu got a lot worse over the last couple of years and T1 look really shaky and not in their peak form and TL just plays solid so thats why NA kind of looks decent now imo.
@@thezedmain1603 maybe you didn’t watch the past years, but some of our na teams permanently lost 1 game to minor regions in groups. It’s a huge improvement that we have a team that gets it done.
Just because t1 looks shaky doesn’t mean at all that na or eu teams could take advantage of that
@@tinecchi3648 we actually don’t lose that often to minor region teams compared to eu believe it or not. I actually think eu over the years have lost more to minor regions that Na or at the very least the number isn’t so different that Na. The amount of times g2 lost to minor regions is let’s just say not flattering. Na has generally been good at beating teams worse than themselves but bad at beating teams better than themselves.

Coincidence or is the new gormat for lcs better for them? Probably coincidence im beyond having hope at this point. I just wish it was true because how hype would it be if all regions were cracked we would jave so many good games to watch.
Of course it is. LCS has been effectively behind in experience compared to LPL and LCK for a long time now just do to format diff. Less pro games overall accrued, and less experience with Bo3 formats means that they are always way less prepared when heading into international competition on top of any skill differences that are already present. It's like asking to lose. Now they should at least be on the same level of conditioning. Still behind overall, but it's the most important first step to eventually, hopefully, catching up.
I think APA is unironically one of the best ziggs in the world(from all the ziggs I’ve seen from other pro teams) he just knows the champ better than anyone else who plays it.
This was a good series though overall! umT1 running it down at the crucial moments, and losing to a baron flip when you’re up 5k is such an NA way to lose, but all things considered Core is looking the best he’s looked in years, Impact is always solid, APA has become a bit of a monster, Yeon is stable and can be surprisingly clutch, and umti is on sej/maokai duty.

NA are a region worth respecting now. Always a major region, but now they can seriously contend. Its not worth being reactionary and calling EU a minor region though, we're entering an age of league where the west are actually going to be a proper threat to titles. This tournament may mark a huge swing in momentum for league, and im excited for it

you cant be serious... the west was closest in 2019-2020 when lck was in a slump... if you watch T1 games in regular season theyve always been shaky against weaker teams... Zeus is literally playing zeri flashing into 5 in a forfun tournament and you pretend like MSI didnt happen where FLY got stopped in playins by T1 and PSG and TL got stopped by TES and only took 1 game from T1 in a bo5 where T1 was shaky entire spring season losing to the other top teams in the second half but barely clutched a win against HLE for MSI...
