Fishing Right Outside The Golden Gate Bridge

- Опубликовано: 8 сен 2024
- This one will go down as one of the best days of fishing two people can have outside of the Golden Gate Bridge. We caught four salmon and four halibut and were heading in just past noon. We started the day getting live anchovies in San Francisco and used those to catch all the fish.

That’s a great day fishing. Congrats.
That seagull was greedy! Hope the remote does not cost much! Great day fishing, you guys slayed them!
That's how it used to be. Good job. Enjoy bites while they last. Week days are the best too. Good times!
💯🎣🔥👍
Good job glad to see that the bite pick up keep the great videos coming we going to keep on fishing alright
Catch you next time!
Great video. Dig the Corpus Christi hooks hat🤘🏻
Cool video as always,thanks👍🎣😂
Awsome job guys, you killed it
Great job guys! That’s a prime fishing day. Limit by 1:30pm . We went out from bodega bay about 2 months ago and caught many rockfish. 1 lingcod and 1 salmon. Made some sashimi with spicy sauce and some Hmong “laab”. It was so tasty with cucumbers and cabbage. Can’t wait to catch another one. Lately have only been trying at the banks of Sacramento River delta. Some salmon reports but not many. Thanks for the awesome video. Take care 👏😃
Awesome day. WOW
Great day fishing! Maybe you should use those boat key floats on your remote units...or bobber floats. Great video; I always look for videos from you and other local RUclipsrs.
Salmon fishing is so much fun in the ocean. I went out today and did pretty darn good.
Great job! I'm surprised you didn't have the "Huge" counter on today.
Nice Bro. We’re goin Saturday can’t wait
Taking my boat out there soon, will be looking for you :)
Nice bro! Killed it out there
Thanks! Our trip together inspired me target the halibut next time I went out.
Chris I am so jealous of you. Love your boat and how it's setup. I want to fish every day on a boat like that. So enjoy your videos.
There you go.
Slayed them! Maybe think about putting a floating case around that kicker remote. 👍🏼
Loch Lomond!! I launch my boat there too. Cool stuff playa.
You are an inspiration. Congratulations, hope to get out there once the evacuation order for the Calder fire is lifted and I can move my boat.
Nice catch, what a beautiful feeling to be out there and catching cool keep it up I love your videos
Good video, excellent day on the water, congrats on the haul.
Boom! Awesome guys!
Very nice catch fishing my friend...
Awesome day!!
Awesome day! Hey Chris you can bring your crab bait jars and put the anchovies in the freezer for the upcoming crab season If you wanted to
Little piece of advice - if it's at all possible you should put the drain plug in from inside the boat so if it vibrates loose it will still be " in " the boat - if not,, at least keep an extra plug or cork that you know fits in an obvious place on the boat. bilge pumps have a nasty habit of failing when you need them to run for more than 10 -15 minutes , like at the dock when you're going to get your trailer - FYI if you drive a boat 10 mph or more the water in the boat will be sucked out the drain hole. just my 2c
Yeah Cris 👏👏
Good job Chris great day out there and nice fish
Right on Chris! Nice one!
Nice, hope those chinook were blood red and greasy!
What a great day, congrats!
only time you can tell another man "yours is so much bigger " lmfao
What a great day. Keep it up
Hi Chris, can you talk about how to install the live bait container on a boat similar to yours please. Thanks
Amazing!!!
What a day, I need to get my first salmon of the season still
I love your videos and I love your rigged up boat, it's awesome that you got that big 150 hp outboard motor on this aluminum boat , she must really be fast with all that power , 40 mph at least right , anyway keep up the great informative and entertaining videos and thanks for all you do
GREAT catch.
Dang! Great job !
Nice job!! Never been halibut fishing but hope too soon. New to fishing so watching you to learn some tips
You guys absolutely killed it ! 👌🏼 great job out there 🎣👍🏻
Just happened across your channel and HAD TO SUBSCRIBE!!! My nickname from the 70's is "Chrispyburnt"!!! I'll let you figure out why! LOL What an awesome day out there!!! I'm wanting to set up my boat for that exact thing right now. Just had an awesome day out with Capt. Allen on the Tigerfish out of Emeryville...got the salmon bug BAD now!!! 😂🤣
thanks for the sub! So you either burnt the dinner or a lot of tree lol? Good luck on the salmon hunt!
You can catch fish! 😁👍
Ooo Yaaa 😳 !!
Been watching all of your videos for so long now. And I think your the king of fisherman that can target multiple species in one day. Not a lot of folks can do this. Your the man Chris! I need to borrow lucky charm Eric in my boat ! Lol
lol, you can borrow eric as long as i dont need him that day. I appreciate the kind words!
@@ChrisPfish2 hey Chris non related . Do you know if JP bait shop open for live anchovies now? Every time I call no answer. Want to get some bait this weekend. Thought I’d ask I hear mix info that it’s not open till June.
@@CaptainSeafood i dont think they are open yet. They post there "status" on facebook. No update yet. Last year they opened on this weekend coming up so anytime now I would think
@@ChrisPfish2 thank you so much Chris ! Really appreciate it. I’ll check out the FB page. You saved me unnecessarily trip over there. Thank you sir
Yes! Nice Video, Chris!!!
Another great video Chris.
Killed it bro! Great Day
Hell yeah bro ...
Going to be out of Discovery park September 10-14, come fish with us!
How big were the anchovies you got from the receiver? Good job at putting fish in the boat!
Nice job dude!!!
Killin it
Where was this ? Bonita channel or the patato patch? Thanks
That is a great live well. Any details?
Nice day my man ' can u tell me what channel u listen to outside the gate or Bodega bay ,Tomales , nice work
A couple questions for you Chris. (1) Why do you use a kicker with you have that nice 4 stroke 150 YAMMY? (2) Why do you go get live bait across the bay when there is live bait where you launch? Thanks! Love the posts!!!
Another banger
nice videos and great catch for the day, but I wonder sometimes because of the delayed time of the take down to your grabbing the rod, what are you looking at that you don't see the bite?
Never waste fresh chovies always great for bait even when frozen! That dude was pissed GOD DAMN IT!!!! Hahahhahaha sweet limits tho!
Just recently started watching your stuff, hope your channel continues to grow your content is great.
do you take visitors out to catch fish. My wife and I are going to SF soon
Nice fish
Hey Chris.....how many rods do you think is allowed to fish there?
What radio channel do you use?
What kind of Reel is your friend is using? The color is really cool!
location on live anchovies from a boat?
Dang it Eric! Losing the darn remote control to the tail fin bruh!!! What’s a remote controlled tail fin and what’s it do btw? I imagine steer the boat trolling? Like a trolling motor in the back maybe? Y’all west coast guys lemme know! I’m from south Louisiana bros! We say bruh instead of bro btw lol! Hood fishing tho dudes!!!
Awesome fishing
But don’t the remotes float?
Just curious, why did you not save the anchovies and freeze them in your own trays and vacuum pack them for a later fishing day? I have followed you long enough to know you are very critical on the specific size of the chovies when you're buying frozen. 5 inches right? I believe in giving back to the fish gods too with a donation of bait or tip of the beer. Just wondering. You are a beast my friend and consistently get it done and provide valuable informative content. I appreciate what you do!! Keep up the good work!
My friends and I would wireline troll that area for Halibut back in the day. We would also wireline troll the south tower for Stripers. Does anyone still use this technique??
Don’t Dump your bait . Take it home and Brine and freeze it for next trip . Bring a bucket of fresh water and put the live bait in the fresh water before putting it in your krippled anchovy
What boat ramp are you launching from?
Nice Day!!!! What hook rigs do you use on the live anchovies?
Awesome man. How far out the gate do you go
Why didn’t you go for ling cod on the way in and get a grand slam
lol seriously... probably because I had enough fish to clean. thanks for watching
Idk why but the salmon look a lot bigger on the camera, the first salmon looked big but it was only 24 inches
24” ain’t too bad, I remember one year I went on a company trip when they changed the regs. You kept da first 2 fish regardless of length. The deckhand didn’t even need a net, they were the size of trout, glad I didn’t pay for dat trip lol
Hey Chris what lbs test do u use with those anchovies? Hook size?
unless you have a commercial license to catch halibut, I think you're allowed one rod per sport license.
Yep!
He’s in the ocean. It’s unlimited rods.
In the bay it’s one per person in the open sea it’s unlimited
How deep were those halibut??
Great job!!!!
Love it when all the planets 🪐 line up!!
Epic day!!!✌🏻✌🏻 }
Do you do fishing trips for public?
Can I take a ride with y’all
What day did you guys go out?
How big is your boat
20ft 2007 north river seahawk. has 2ft off shore bracket so its 22ft overall
Dude if you ever need a extra body to help with gas n bait..
Just putting it out there.
Enjoy your videos

So if you had three salmon on board didn’t you have one limit and just needed one more fish?
Probably should be only fishing one rod for that last keeper.
DFG recognizes what is called a boat limit.
@@garrybaker6725 since when for private boats?
I know it’s like that for party boats and even six pac maybe. Definitely not the case with private boats. There is no “boat” limits…
Turn the clicker off 🙃
Bad. Ass.
Make sure their legal before you gaff em!
like stick a tape measure in the water next to them?
@@ChrisPfish2 use your net!
@@danodonnell7218 you should see the complaints I get when I use a net on a halibut. I have never gaffed an undersize, if I am not 100% sure I dont gaff em.
@@ChrisPfish2 Those FG wardens have no mercy! Good stuff brother!
