In the last 25 years the best thing to happen to Journey is an easy 2 words: Arnel Pineda! Every dinosaur rock band should be so fucking incredibly lucky. Every past and present player in the band and individual or collective owner of the publishing writes is still happily milking that cow. In 70 years their great-great-grandchildren should build statues of Arnel in front of their palatial oceanfront estates to honor the man. His energy, attitude, and passion carry every show.

Journey songs are freaking high and complex due to Perry's insane vocal talent. Pineda must be so gifted for doing this for 15 years at this age and at this height of the band's endless tours. They all move and perform like they're on their 20's

I was sorry to see it end. I also loved the videos from the the Pandemic. He has influence the music I like and the singers I listen to. I especially like The Trinidad Band. I would never have listened to any of these Filipino bands if not for him. I’m sure his rise to stardom has encouraged many singers from around the world yet he stays humble and in awe of it all.
