Excellent review. Really nice pack and excellent to see dad's are getting more committed to being dad's. 25 years ago when my kids we're babies no guy would have thought of that. I'm so glad times have changed. Better for everyone.
Oooohhhh. VERY NICE! Now THAT'S an Urban Greyman EDC Bag. I also like how it semi-Camoflauges if you have Grey Car Seats. I can see that being used on Long Car Trips. Thanks Ben!
Nice review, thanks! But what's the purpose and potential applications for the clip-in buckle on the lower end of the shoulder straps? Is there any additional functions with them? Also, would the sleeve in the main compartment hold a 13" laptop without going up to the 23L model?
The clips are quick release so if someone say grabs the pack from behind you in an effort to pull you down you can in theory quick release. Otherwise sometimes they are used to stow the shoulder straps to transform it into a sling bag or grab bag. Yes, it will hold a 13” laptop.
That's certainly one possible use. The other I'm now thinking is that given the direction of opening of their side pockets, it's possible also to quickly unclip one shoulder strap and swing the pack to the front of the chest via anchored on the remaining strap. Then it'd be easy to access the side pocket over a stable platform with the flap opening away, as well as for the CC compartment.
Received my copy of the 21 and quite impressed. One oddity though, the black webbing from the top of the shoulder strap actually finishes around 1" under the Kodra cover. Not sure how much strength it adds to the strap but looking more cosmetic. Originally had the impression it goes all the way through the strap. Sneaky!
I've been using the Lithvore for the last couple of years as my diaper bag but my daughter is turning 2 and is outgrowing the bag. I need something bigger and I am torn between the 21 and 23 entity. which do you recommend?
Very cool! I would have never thought to use one of these packs for a diaper bag! My wife and i each had our own diaper bag because i didn't want a girlie one! I had an Eddie Bauer mans diaper bag which worked well for me! Take care my Friend!
I just wish this thing was water proof 8 ( they coulda used the material like on the falcon 2 then covered it with THAT material an it woulda been way more bad ass.
Ben you weren't kidding me. I like the style and the color more of a business look with a CCW compartment geniuses with the magnet closures solid review grab and go
Finally an urban/tactical backpack... I can walk without getting all the attention... Im using the olive green maxpedition monsoon, and sometimes some people asking me, if is an army backpack?.. thank you for the review Ben!
Great video. I recently became a father and this video made me instantly subscribe to your channel. Do you have any vanquest backpacks to compare this to? I have the trident 21 and falconer 27, and I would love to see the size and shape difference.
Maxpedition has a long history of ZIPPERS BLOWING OUT. They routinely refuse to honor their so-called "lifetime warranty" (check out the comments on amazon.com for proof of other customer's complaints). Their packs are very durable, but what good is that when your zipper is blown? All Maxpedition packs are overpriced. Many other companies offer superior products . I recommend the 5.11 Tactical RUSH72 Backpack which comes in 7 different colors (ranging from multicam to grey - if you want to look greyman) and costs only $138 on Amazon.

Dude! My kids are all grown and out... now you tell me I could have had a cool EDC diaper bag? Great little video!
That magnetic closure is insane. Awesome bag.
First Maxpedition product I've wanted in a long time. Thanks for spotlighting it, Ben. Greetings from Pittsburgh, Laura
You're the man! The first review from the Fieldcraft Folder and Entity Line are from your Channel. I will get the EDC pack for my trip to London.
I like this bag a lot. I just wonder how the outside material will hold up. I do like the colour of it.

You need to add large zip lock bags in case the little ones get sick. I figured that out the hard way last month.
Great vid. Are you braching out?!
Great review. Cheers. By the way what watch are you wearing ???

Great video! Awesome pack! I need a new EDC/ get home pack. Driving all over mid-Michigan like I do, it's always good to have a pact with you.

Left Jab it’s awesome.
Can you add a ballistic panel on the back portion of the backpack?
Tim from EverydayTacticalVids had one in it.

Different for everyone but you could watch my loadout videos and go from there.
Living Survival thanks, I'll check them out
Nice city pack. Thank you for the review, Ben
Great vid. Could one fit a pair of sneakers and gymgear in it?
May want the next size up.
Great video as always and a hearty laugh at 'hello, branch...'
Ben, I've tried three times to tell you a slew of great things about your review. Just imagine. I can't do another.
Do you think it would be good for school?
yeah.
did you just leave your power bank in the snoww??
Great video. I recently became a father and this video made me instantly subscribe to your channel. Do you have any vanquest backpacks to compare this to? I have the trident 21 and falconer 27, and I would love to see the size and shape difference.
i've reviewed them all but i think for this purpose this one is pretty well setup. the vanquest bags are great for electronics.
What jacket is that?
black diamond
Do you know if the sternum strap expands big enough for a 52 inch chest?
You’re huge!
@@strickostricko I had to lift a lot of weights! Lol!
@@anthonyrampino7734 😂
Twin girls? Congratulations and hope that's going well.
That bag is fresher than lettuce
that's a nice pack! I really like that!
Branch says.. Slammin!
Good review, Super Daddy!
even though that style of maxpedition I do not like is an excellent video. mine is maxpedition legacy !! and arg.
Good review as always. Also love the fact that you're not letting your partner do all the 'messy work' #SuperDad
Isnt EarPods with cord so 2010? Mostly bluetooth nowadays
Also I keep most of the same stuff like you do, but my son's bag looks like Mickey Mouse.
Lol I'm actually in the market for a diaper bag
Mr5150cassini I figure you’re not wasting your money because with a true diaper bag I wouldn’t use it later on.
Branch!! 😂
Pistols and baby wipes, funny thing. Have that in my bag.........
I do not have children but .. If I did
. I would do that ( re purpose/. mod ) !!

Personally, I don't like the color or style. It's too much like Columbia, North Face, etc.
only one con, it look like a diaper bag
It just looks ugly...my opinion
