Baghdad Jews breakfast I don’t know why many people deliberately write that it is from the Mediterranean or the Middle East. Babylonian food recipes are older than all of these peoples.
It's fucking not falafel idiot, Egyptians don't use amba sauce, eggplants, eggs, or potatoes in falafel, there is a shawarma, it is also served in pita, MAYBE IT'S ALSO FALAFEL HUH ?
Well done. Finally a traditional Sabih with the taste of Sabih. All the recipes on RUclips are simply horrible. Here is a list of rules of what is forbidden and what is allowed to be put in a sabih. 1. You can replace the egg with a hot potato 2. There is no hummus in Sabih. And not falafel 3. Don't put pickles in the pita but eat them alongside the pita. It tastes better that way 4. Do not put too much eggplant. It will give you heartburn. 5. You can put the salad in the pita but it is unnecessary. Eat the salad separately. 6. Don't be too creative when making a sabih. It's just a light breakfast for people who come back from synagogue early in the morning.
daniel albo Relax, he didn’t say it was Arab, he said it’s Iraqi, referring to the Iraqi Jews of Israel, which is correct. You can take full credit for this sandwich, it’s just eggplant in pita.
@@blindfollowerlol what a stupid statement, i can also say that falafel is just humus balls inside pita, sabich is not just eggplants inside pita, no cuisine puts salad , amba, eggplants, potatoes, and eggs inside a pitta, and it's not iraqi, all iraqi jews did is taking bread and eating eggplants and eggs with it, it is 70% Israeli

Yes it's Israeli dish, not iraqi , in fact nobody in iraq makes that or even knows what it is, there were small Jewish communities that ate hard boiled eggs and eggplants inside of a bread in Saturday, that's the whole story, it's much more Israeli than iraqi

Alejandro Sojo Israeli food is a celebration of Jewish AND Arab culture from around the world. And Iranian Jews who have lived in Iran since 2500 years ago, are also part of our people. I have family from Iran. Jews can claim Iranian food as their own, just as much as Persians and Lur and Kurdish can. Besides, this dish was actually started in Israel, by an Iraqi Israeli inspired by Jewish Iraqi food.
This is the first time I’ve seen amba with sabich ... now its an original Iraqi Jewish dish 🌹

Minus the egg, this is also a great vegan meal. Is it possible to bake the eggplant, instead of frying it?
Tephanie Burnett yes , my mom always made me this when i was a child and i would also recommand to squeeze lemon above it
Looks great.Pita bread seems to be made of wholesome wheat instead of flour. Healthy

My Finnish grandmother cooked meatballs...nothing to do with Swedish meatballs! It's only food, you're allowed to steal it.
Occupied Palestinian. There is no "Israel".
Israel exists, it's there, it's not going anywhere and making asinine comments like that is going to do nothing in solving or helping the conflict.
