This Doppel wordlessly wraps around and strangles anything it doesn't want to hear as it continues its search for something to fill the hole in its heart. While it should be calling for someone, it is cowardly and afraid of acknowledging the reality it has concealed, and so it remains, silently covering its ears. This sounds like a watered down version of Oktavia tbh.
Btw it doesnt even make any sense of how giovanna is talking completely perfectly, even though, she's a partial witch, and witches can't even speak at all, either that, or they speak in tounges/witchspeak and witch runes
Within Labyrinths, Witches can accomodate to their intruders' surroundings. Additionally, because Iroha hasn't fully Witched out, Giovanna is still able to speak through Iroha as opposed to speaking in runes. Much easier to pull people further into despair, including Iroha, if she speaks their language. And because Giovanna manifested her Labyrinth as a nightmare, similar to the decoy familiars Homulilly created in the Rebellion movie, they had to be intelligible to maintain a proper illusion. It would've worked if Giovanna could alter Kuroe and Yachiyo's memories, but because she seems unable to, they're able to pick up on facts Giovanna keeps forgetting (Iroha lives with her friends. What was she doing again? She was looking after her sister, and so her sister's friend trio shows up. Iroha is told about Witches. Witches that bring ruin to Magical Girls? Better make them a team that gains lots and lots of Grief Seeds!). That they could still understand her was a sign that Iroha could still be rescued, since her Witchification was incomplete but still in process due to the Doppel syndrome.

Idk but lets just assume that because giovanna is still partly iroha and not completely giovanna, that thats the reason why giovanna can talk human
