One tip from a (former) local: No matter where you're coming from - most tourists will be driving in from Austin, San Antonio or Fredricksburg - DESIGNATE A SOBER DRIVER!! I mean COMPLETELY sober driver. Every little town, each county, and even Texas State Police (DPS) will be out in that area to GET YOU! New Braunfels is especially notorious for this & has been since at least the 1970s!!
First visit to the Hall we just drank beers. That was probably late 70’s. Second visit was early 80’s and the Thunderbirds were playing. Jimmy V, Kim W and band put on a good show. Went there a third but I have no idea who played but it was a good time. 👍👍🇺🇸🇨🇱

When you get see what happens a places like this brings to the people,will always be a part of history of the town,if it’s not broken don’t fix it.
Favorite shows were Leon Russell, BB King, Doug Sahm and Augie Meyers, The Texas Tornados.
