This was a wonderful episode!!!!!! I am an elderly (72) Christian lady who lives alone with very little human contact. Jesus is my companion and I freely worship him. Taking communion at home is wonderful and I highly recommend it. The only thing I'm missing human contact!!!!!!
I always come away with some morsel of insight. Today I realized that we need to burn the pews! No, seriously, I was blessed with the discussion of putting hunting up as an idol. The point is our focus. I was on my way to church years ago, & I picked up an older couple hitchhiking. (Back when it was safer to do.) They just wanted me to drop them off at an on-ramp to the freeway. On the way I asked about where they were going. They were going to their son's place in the next state because something happened to their home... Long story. They were hitchhiking because they were car jacked & robbed. I was moved to spend the tithe money I was taking to church on these people. I took them to the bus station & got them tickets to their son's town. I gave them the rest for food. I told them that it was a gift from God. I couldn't have afforded it. That was a devine appointment. I missed church & gave God's money to those people. Seems to me that sometimes we idolize church attendance. A lot of good Christian folk wouldn't have even stopped. They'd have missed a great opportunity to be God's hands.
Do you realize your story was a testimony of how God Works In mysterious Ways? It was God who put you there at that time and place to help that couple. Seems from what you wrote, you learned a greater lesson about God’s grace than any church service could have ever provided you. Thank you for sharing your story. It also helped restore my faith in the human race! God Bless You
I used to live in a bad neighborhood where we were constantly confronted with ppl begging for money. I always let God guide me. Sometimes He'd tell me a person was dangerous & call me to avoid them. Most times He'd move me to give. Sometimes He'd be VERY specific. There were many amazing experiences. One time I was walking into a gas station & saw a man standing in dark clothing, hood covering his head. I didn't ask God. I just judged & hurried toward the door. God said- "LOOK at him!" I did. But I kept hurrying in. I saw he was a young boy. Maybe barely 18. The whole time I was in that store, God was working on me. I was in a bad mood, feeling rebellious. He was telling me to hand him the $20 that was in my pocket & to tell him that HE TOLD me to give it to him. My heart was only slightly willing. I'm an introvert & often insecure. God kept working on me all the way out the door, across the parking lot, into my truck... I started the truck & pulled out before I finally surrendered. Pulled back in, got out of the truck... began the long awkward walk toward the kid, who was looking at me with some fear & confusion. He had never asked me for money. Never even looked at me until that moment. I said- "Listen. God made me look at you. Nagged me the whole time I was in that store. He apparently really loves you." He immediately broke down in tears. I handed him the $20 and said "He wanted me to give this to you and TELL you it was from Him. I know it is, because I wasn't willing. I was leaving. He wouldn't let me." He nodded. More tears. He thanked me. I asked him if I could hug him. He nodded and I did. I asked if he was safe. He said he was. I said "Call your Parents." I don't even know where that came from. (God obviously) He looked at me with surprise and told me he would. I believed him. God then told me to go. I asked the Lord if I should drive him somewhere. It didn't seem right to leave him there. He said no. My part was done. I think abt that boy often. I trust God got him where he needed to go. He didn't look like he'd been out there long. After so many years of interactions like that, you come to recognize the looks. Mentally ill, addicted, hiding from the law, etc. I don't think he was any of those. I hope to learn the details of this moment when I get to Heaven. God is so personal. So present. Able and determined to do amazing things. Even when He's working with a rebellious daughter.
That’s the reason why God says that a small remnant shall be saved. Concerning the Religious Churches ⛪️ of today. I’v always understood that God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost teaches. That he introduced me to a way of life not a religion. Because he lives in us not a building.
i absolutely love you and your families, and i want you tro know i am learning more about the scriptures than ever before. i am 72 years old and you guys go so deep into the scriptures/and i am learning so much...I love al of you!!!
@S & H Farm - Preach! God is always present and ready to be just what we need wherever we need it. Pinpoint accurate correction steeped in Mercy, comfort that envelops your heart & soul and brings tears of gratitude, perfect direction that instantly clears up the deepest confusion.... it's all there for the asking at every moment, wherever you are. Sometimes He's silent, and calls you to wait longer & listen in silence, or to open your Bible & He'll meet you there. Sometimes He's silent & makes you wait in faith to see what He's going to do rather than hear abt it first. Most of the time, in my experience, He makes His presence known, readily & clearly. Whatever the case, He's always in control, always good, always faithful.
God bless you all. Just want to share a praise. First Baptist Rockwall Texas just raised over $1,070,000.00 all for world missions. God is amazing even during a pandemic.
@J C I literally, just moved to Rockwall, TX right before Thanksgiving but I didn't know about this going on but I Know God is AWESOME! Btw... I'm a Christian ✝️, disabled veteran in need of assistance. If you have any information about where in Rockwall I might find help, please 🙏 let me know. Thanks 😊!! God Bless y'all 🙏!
God is awesome... It's up to us to be as we be in his eyes. Y To realize that we as US.. as people all around the world need to unite and come together. Love all around you live as if tomorrow isn't promised and accept the hand your dealt... I just got to say is stay humble and kind to the ones you love. Stay kind to everyone
I listen to your RUclips channel all the time, I am a Catholic and I have a Catholic Bible, but I'll still continue watching your RUclips channel, as long as you are listening to the word of God it should not matter if you are a Catholic or not, I will still keep hearing the word of God
Religion is man made....the Word of God transcends all. As a Baptist I would listen to a Bishop if he were speaking the Good News. Church is where two or more gather in His name. It’s not a building or ideal....it’s the Word of God! I 💯 agree Raquel and have found this channel as a way to help me look at how I am utilizing the Word of God in my life and those I meet daily.
My grandmother (80 yrs old) died in the ER 5 years ago and the doctors revived her and boy did she have a lot to say! They were wheeling her in her bed hooked up to machines & on a ventilator (tube down her throat) as my mom walked along side the bed my Nan started doing sign language (finger spelling ...she had a deaf brother and knew how to spell) So, she said she went to heaven! She said she saw my grandfather & he was young & handsome. She then continued (in post breast cancer surgery excitement, adrenaline flowing) to say that she saw Jesus!!! She said he was not a good looking man. she said he was as tall as a building. She then said that Jesus leaned over, kissed her on the forehead & said that he was not quite ready for her yet!! He sent her back to tell all of her family what she had seen. Later, after she was out of the hospital. she told me all about her holy reunion and she said, ya know Halli, I've always tried to have faith & believe that for all these years there really is a God and a heaven, but there were times when I doubted Gods words... NOW I KNOW for sure Jesus is REAL!! Ever since she told me that, I have felt as though God sent her back for Me. I have had many doubts, but not anymore!! Thank you Jesus for your Mercy! We are not saved by good deeds, but by God's Mercy!
@Free Thinker Hey slow down there. No need to call others an idot. An idea my be illogical to one person, but that does not make it wrong because we might not understand and believe. Finally, Jesus was not invisible. He was as you and me. Now he is glorified and that is the reality we believers hope by faith. Since faith is the hope in something we cannot see in the present body.
Completely agree @Dan Nelson! As for replying to the nah sayer it’s better off not to give them the attention on here because it all goes to being a positive interaction through RUclips sadly.
Really good show tonight ! I love to hear y’all’s teachings and sharing your own experiences teaching people about Jesus in duck blinds or out fishing ! That’s real church services to me...be blessed and favored 💜🙏🏽❤️
Jesus Christ saves from sin. Romans 3: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Hebrews 9: 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Isaiah 64: 6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Revelation 21: 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Romans 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. John 3: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Romans 10: 9-10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Jesus said John 5: 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 1John 5: 10-13 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. Ephesians 2: 8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 8: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 2 Corinthians 5: 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. .
@robert ceballos Where ever you are. Look for any security companies. Like allied universal or others. Companies like that always need people. Good luck.
I agree totally about getting to involved in people’s personal life especially why they missed a day of church I think the one wondering or asking that question should do a self inventory on their own life Jesus is everywhere not just in the closed doors of the church IMO
The story about your friend fisherman really connected with me with something I have been going through. About did he love fishing more then Jesus. My story is to long for this comment, but I have had similar discussions with myself lately. ❤
I love your guys podcast. But at the 8 minute mark phil took Matthew 18 out of context when he used the line “ where two or more are gathered”. The verse in context applies to church discipline. Not Christians hanging out in the duck blind or a Wednesday night Bible study.
My dad was a cop and when asked why he no longer went to church he said that it was mighty uncomfortable sitting there on Sunday morning with the same people he had arrested on Saturday night.
Regarding. Communion we Catholics can receive communion on Sunday. The rule used to be once a day, no eating good an hour before and after receiving. No talking on your way up to receive or when you return to your seat + confection. And you have to kneel while praying Also no chewing the host it should dissolve in your mouth
Found this little church that's open. They read verse by verse through the Bible, "that way we don't spit out the peas" God sent us some where new and we are grateful.
You boys often will negatively comment about church itself. AND you CAN have church anywhere, but your local home church is a great place and an important source of Christian friendship that I really enjoy. And since I grew up with pews, they don't bother me at all. But I know it doesn't matter how you sit or where.
More instructions. The bible is our map when you don't follow your map correctly you get lost. So following say commandments or not following could cause you to get lost. When you leave this the scriptures which is Jesus you leave the faith, falling away... John 1 King James Version 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10218987950830729&id=1262971733
I think there will be definitely be changes in the next few years for Christians, but I think Phil we need to be careful about presenting it like it’s doomsday. We live an abundant life and must remember there is still joy to be had, while being aware the time is getting nearer for the Lord’s return.
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? The Bible never gives a physical description of Jesus because Jesus was saying God looks on the inside. When God looks at us He sees what we say and do. Not our physical appearance. When I first truly repented I began having dreams and I kept looking in a mirror. The Bible is like a mirror. He shows us what we look like in comparison to Him and as we see where we are dirty or need healing inside because we can’t see the truth or hear the truth we ask Him and even beg Him to help make us clean and heal us. The Lord loves us and wants to creat change in us through His truth and love. He gave us His life on the cross to show that we could trust Him with our life here and pick up our crosses and as for that end. He never wanted us to look at a physical body but a spiritual one and He said my words are spirit but they would be a lie if we use but don’t follow Him. He is the Word from the beginning and there is life in His words if we abide in them.
@Sandra Moe look up Whites Ferry Road Church (WFR) on RUclips and also wfrchurch.org. email them at info@wfr.org. stay strong sweetheart God is so good and faithful. I will be praying for you daily ❣️🤗🙏
Jase, I'm not a Preacher but, paid PASTORS (not simply preachers) who are doing their duty in a church with about 200 or more regular attendees, are busier than anyone and they have to eat. The congregation isn't "paying" them per say. If you simply want a "Preacher", I get what you're saying. but, a true Pastor works well over 40 hours a week. Sermon prep alone takes many hours if he is a good teacher and most Pastors aren't independently wealthy with lots of free time to study and prepare.
The point is that people watch believers conduct and if your drinking and gambling or fishing on Sunday during Church, they will think of you as a hipocrite even if you’re not !! If a lady dresses to cause a guy to lust over her, she is a stumbling block even if this wasn’t her intention to do so. Believers are held to a higher standard, teachers even higher!! Jase has become a very worldly believer and I wish he would shut up and let Phil and Al spread GODS word
Where 2 or more are Gathered. My view is wear 2 or more are gathered there is your Assembly. When 2 or more people meet it is an assembly. We can assemble as 2 People. Its nice to have more together for an assembly but you may only have 2 too Pray.
Church ( body of Christ) the invisable , universal Church. the church ( ecclisia) taught all throughout NT by Jesus and the Apostles is the assembled gathering ( local church) The verse you cited is Jesus directing the Apostles how to handle a brother that sins against him. Matthew 18 is pertaining to church discipline, taught by Jesus. The two or more is the OT validation for accusing someone.
Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it holy... Man does not live by bread alone but every Word from the mouth of God... Sunday is a day to recieve not pretend you have made some sacrifice or done an awesome work attending church. It is not an obligation to join the assembly in worship. It is a freedom we take part in by faith to be with our brothers and sister that day. There we hear what has been done for us and are given every gift from Jesus... I suggest not missing out but when you put anything before the Word your real gods have been shown. Btw.... it does come up in the Gospel. Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath.
Jase is wrong about gambling and alcohol!!!!!! You have become a stumbling block to others and.given permission to young people to do both!! You are held accountable for your actions especially being a teacher of the gospel!! We will pray for you and your spiritual blindness!! Don’t call this legalism!! Christians are held to a higher standard especially teachers!!
The Devine isn’t magic. Jesus said it’s his flesh and blood. He didn’t call it a symbol. Many left him when insisted it was literal in meaning because they couldn’t comprehend such a thing.
I would like to go to a church that’s actually doing something for people. Being involved with helping others . But , those are few and far between. I like hearing a good sermon. But I rather be doing the Lords work . With churches today , that’s usually happening outside of a church building.
Teresa , You are on the home stretch . Jesus is at the door.He is turning the doorknob . He will be here soon. Tell everyone you know. We are the Fig tree generation . Don't give in and don't give up. Jesus loves you so so much, He can't wait to meet you in person. God bless you and your family
I have always believed in the Lord, particularly after watching my children being born. But now I thank you all for teaching me the bible. Best to all. :)
I had no Idea that in the Catholic faith, the bread and wine was considered literal and not symbolic. A family member who is a Catholic priest told my mother that although others within the faith believed this way, he did not. I had never heard this before, and I was shocked. I am a Southern Baptist who tend to take communion quarterly. I don’t think that’s enough. It somehow seems it’s not on your radar like it should be.
To me, the Church (the body of Christ) meeting at peoples' homes seems more natural and conducive to growth in the Faith on a more personal level. I am not a big fan of so called Mega-Churches, though I have been to them here around the DC area where I currently live. I like smaller gatherings of brothers and sisters who come together for a time of sharing, praising and worshiping the Lord .
Learn so much about scripture and Jesus every time I listen to Unashamed. Thank you all for sharing your faith, spirituallity and love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God Bless!!
@Sandra Moe I have struggled through this myself for many years. Sometimes it helps me to turn off or shut out unimportant noise. Then I will read, sometimes just one verse, and then just talk to the Lord. There are days and weeks when the only this I listen to is biblical podcasts or church sermons on RUclips. Or worship music. Stay strong in the Lord ❣️🤗
DO ALL THINGS, AS UNTO THE GLORY OF GOD! Also.... I would have loved it, if my 1st husband would have been hunting with guys like you, rather than ALONE! EVERYWHERE you go, it appears that you are giving God glory... Wish my sons could have had a father who would hunt WITH THEM!!
Father God says He is a jealous God in the Bible but Jesus sacrificed His life to save us. So who do you pray to? Do you ask Jesus for help when you need it or do you ask Father God? 🤔 Always a great podcast! I always ask Father God for help in the name of Jesus. But am I hurting Jesus cuz I'm kinda "going over His head" or kinda "ignoring" him?
Romans 10 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”///
I tried Omega XL because Phil uses it. Have not used it enough to say its good or bad. I am having big problems canceling auto-ship which I did not remember ever signing up for. Used email to support email omegaxl dot com did not help. Now on phone for over 45 min and still in que to talk to some one to cancel auto-ship. Hope this helps a few people who are going to try this stuff.
You can do church anywhere. God gave this family a passion & talent for duck hunting. And they’re using it to further His kingdom. Idolatry is making a good thing the ultimate thing. Forsaking all else to do that thing. That’s why the Bible says it’s the love of money that is the root of all evil. Not money itself but the love of money. When you hold tight to the finite & hold loosely the infinite.. that’s idolatry. This family is clearly not doing that. They’ve turned their hobby & their business in a way..into their ministry. They bless others while doing what they love.. and btw feeding their families. Pretty sure that’s what Jesus meant when He promised abundant life.
Jase is so jealous of Willy and wants so bad to be like his dad..Phil is one of a kind and a great Bible scholar..If u ever watched the shows it was so obvious he was jealous of Willy.maybe because Willy had more education or the fact that Phil put Willy as head of Duck Commander instead of Jase but over the years it became more obvious that Jase really had it in for Willy...It was more than just brotherly competition..
I cannot see how table and chairs in place of pews, chairs, or whatever, would work with a very large church. Unless the building was set up like a dinner theater. Or even a small church, if they are meeting in a small building. The tables would take up space that could be for seating. If you are eating, where is the preacher giving the sermon? And then there is the singing. Sing at the table? Maybe I am struggling thinking out of the box. lol
I’ve come to love listening to Unashamed daily. I’m an East Texan living in Maine and some days I really miss being in the south. I love your love for Christ and your love for laughter and life. Do you have plans to start a ugetube or rumble channel because of the recent you tube censoring? Thank you again for sharing your honesty and love.
Christians never had a problem with the teaching of the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist until the Protestant Reformation. And you'd never discuss it with visitors.
6 years ago I made a promise to God when I got my boat I won’t take my boat out on Sunday and that day I will serve the Lord and God. In 6 year I haven’t missed church and my boat hasn’t had one problem with the boat a I know it because I have kept commitment to my Heavenly Father.
Please watch what you say about getting rid of the prews, years ago there were people in our church who brought getting rid of the prews and our church split half into 😢😢😢😢. So we kept our prews but this year we got beautiful nice chairs.
I can't imagine not taking the bread and the fruit of the vine each Sunday. We've got to remember always that Jesus died for our sins, and He rose on the third day.
Yes I am the dc kid or davinci code boy that is a blood son of jesus and mary magdalene. I'm the only one in 2000 years who asked a pope to step down and he did. He knew more than he is allowed to let you know because he swore an oath to my great father jesus christ to let you learn it from me if I ever chose to confess the truth of who I am.
I think if you also look at it this way, I personally would not be listening to you guys sharing Christ with me in this podcast if I hadn't discovered y'all through duck hunting.
This was a wonderful episode!!!!!! I am an elderly (72) Christian lady who lives alone with very little human contact. Jesus is my companion and I freely worship him. Taking communion at home is wonderful and I highly recommend it. The only thing I'm missing human contact!!!!!!
My disabled, adult son and I are at home by ourselves. I hadn’t thought of taking communion at home. I definitely should do this.
It is not good that man should be alone... Genesis 2:18
@@antonyjohnson5779 Hmmm...I thought we were talking about communion? 😬
@@antonyjohnson5779 God was talking about Adam being alone. True, humans are social by nature, but that was out of context.
God bless you sweetheart hang in there!!

Sometimes He's silent & makes you wait in faith to see what He's going to do rather than hear abt it first. Most of the time, in my experience, He makes His presence known, readily & clearly. Whatever the case, He's always in control, always good, always faithful.

Me and my daughter have had a friendship but like jep your brother is my baby and always will be.
Amen 🙏
I agree with Phil about getting rid of the pews. We need more fellowship arrangement like tables or cocktail tables.
I have social anxiety in church
Just a reminder to all the viewers, the Amish meet in different houses each Sunday instead of a church building.
Yes they have many fellowship gatherings and singings. I actually am a driver for Amish and have earned a great respect for many.

Jesus Christ saves from sin.
Romans 3: 23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Hebrews 9: 27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Isaiah 64: 6
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Revelation 21: 8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Romans 5: 8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
John 3: 16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 14: 6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus said John 5: 24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
1John 5: 10-13
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
Ephesians 2: 8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 8: 1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 15: 3-4
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
2 Corinthians 5: 21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

My walk in the Holy Spirit is a better 1 today for taking the time to listen to the word. TY
Hallelueua not hold on a minute!😂 Well said Jase. So true
my church does communion every Sunday
I love your guys podcast.
But at the 8 minute mark phil took Matthew 18 out of context when he used the line “ where two or more are gathered”.
The verse in context applies to church discipline. Not Christians hanging out in the duck blind or a Wednesday night Bible study.
You are right! This has been taken out of context even by pastors. It’s so important to rightly divide the Word of truth. Thanks for your comment!
Amen:)
I love these guys man they really have helped me by making my relationship with christ 🙏🙌

And you have to kneel while praying
Also no chewing the host it should dissolve in your mouth
MY GOD BLESS ALL
I didn’t forget to smash that like button Appreciate y’all in Christ Jesus Name Amen 🙏 all day long.
We just pray that Jesus is coming back soon.
Found this little church that's open. They read verse by verse through the Bible, "that way we don't spit out the peas" God sent us some where new and we are grateful.
God will find you both in the church and outside but will arrive differently in those places.
Merry Christmas to all from Florence, SC
Same to you. Hello from NY
You boys often will negatively comment about church itself. AND you CAN have church anywhere, but your local home church is a great place and an important source of Christian friendship that I really enjoy. And since I grew up with pews, they don't bother me at all. But I know it doesn't matter how you sit or where.
Amen!!!!!!!
More instructions. The bible is our map when you don't follow your map correctly you get lost. So following say commandments or not following could cause you to get lost. When you leave this the scriptures which is Jesus you leave the faith, falling away... John 1
King James Version
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

To tell you the truth... IM CONFUSED😢 I'm trying to believe... so much information confuses😭 I want to believe....😢

Never heard of a Murphy. I guess thats a wedgie?
Pews were designed to put focus on the message being given by the pastor who is the SHEPHERD.
Catholics take the Eucharist (communion) which they say is actually Christ’s flesh and blood
Why do you guys use the NIV over say the KJV? No one ever answers this question I am genuinely curious to the answer.
Church isn’t in a building. Where 2 or 3 are gathered together He is there.
Church ( body of Christ) the invisable , universal Church. the church ( ecclisia) taught all throughout NT by Jesus and the Apostles is the assembled gathering ( local church)
The verse you cited is Jesus directing the Apostles how to handle a brother that sins against him. Matthew 18 is pertaining to church discipline, taught by Jesus. The two or more is the OT validation for accusing someone.
Well, I did want Phil to baptize me. But I don’t want to get naked.😂
God said sing make melody in your heart,he did not say sing pretty ,he said sing.
"Do not forsake the gathering of your selves together as is the habit of some."
Blessed you got ducks at all .
What we do is not critical. What Jesus has done for us is vital.
Amen!!!!!!!!!!
The gambling , I might agree with. Alcohol is ok, as long as you dont over indulge. Jesus first miracle was to turn water into wine.
I have never seen God so I see nothing also. But I absolutely feel God.
When I close my eyes and try to see god..... I see myself in his eyes
Amen!!!
Please pray for my family and I i feel that I'm slipping back in to old habits
Keep focused on the bigger picture and remember where you want to be when this is all over this is only temporary sister
Teresa ,
You are on the home stretch .
It somehow seems it’s not on your radar like it should be.
where is the normal worship of a light show-collection plate-music? They have nothing to do with God.
I’ll get some pews!
God Bless!!
I feel Jesus Christ is very important but I'm having trouble following the message😭
hang in there, keep seeking, stay with it....i went through the same thing
Keep listening, this leading and hunger to know about him, is a blessing. Hang in there Sandra

Romans 10
8 But what does it say?

I have always found God and jesus speaks to me easier and clearer whennim camping or fishing than in church.
Fellowship. That's what I'm looking for. Remembrance, & Peace be to you! Thank you.
Christians never had a problem with the teaching of the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist until the Protestant Reformation. And you'd never discuss it with visitors.
....I'd rather be hunting and thinking about God than in church thinking about hunting....
I’m sorry but I’ve never understood after listening to you guys hey certain thing... does Phil thank that baptism washes away sins?
6 years ago I made a promise to God when I got my boat I won’t take my boat out on Sunday and that day I will serve the Lord and God. In 6 year I haven’t missed church and my boat hasn’t had one problem with the boat a I know it because I have kept commitment to my Heavenly Father.
