- First day skiing on the new QST Blanks really blew me away. I had such a good time ripping around the mountain, it really put it a smile on my face.
I took the skis up Whistler for some laps and really pushed these skis under a variety of conditions. Surprisingly they held up really well. Stiff enough when you needed them to be, but still playful, fun and soft when you wanted to just cruise around the mountain.
With Salomon no longer making the QST 118, this new Blank will be the perfect ski for your quiver. The QST Blank is a pillow-popping, powder-loving 112 mm waist freeride ski built to slay everything on deep days at the resort or in the backcountry. Camber underfoot and an early rise in the tip and tail adapt to whatever the mountain throws at you. C/FX super fiber in the tip and tail adds power, but also allows for quick, pivoting turns. Double sidewalls create confidence-boosting stability and power underfoot, while tip and tail Cork Damplifier enhance versatility and playfulness.
I cannot wait till I can get these skis out for another RIPPPP!!!

Hey mate, would you get the 194 or 186 ? Do they feel that big
What do you normally ski? Will these replace whatever that ski is?
I am usually skiing the Salomon NFX or the QST 106/118 depending the day. Salomon is no longer making the 118, so you could say its replacing that ski or just filling a spot of its own in between the two.

Maybe you still remember, the video is already old: was it easy for you to ride on 194 cm skis?
I am about 6ft tall and if you ski aggressively they are good but if not then smaller size be better :)
Are these available to demo?
Not that I am sure but soon some shops will have them I assume
