Indeed..re my own then local Irish station (Skerries), the old underpass was still in use. Now that exit is closed and the overhead walkway (+ lifts) apply at this stop.
I loved this, thanks for uploading. I live in Balbriggan and have a great view of the railway line from my house but I miss those old trains, they were the best. Also very rare to see footage of Malahide station pre Dart era.
Excellent footage !
Thank you glad you enjoyed the video

Great footage we need to restore all closed railway lines sooner rather then later.
Excellent sight and sound footage Gerry!

I'm surprised that there's no express trains in this video
Great video Gerry 👍 some diesel spilling out of the BR van at 12:43.
Fabulous footage Gerry, thanks for uploading. Very rare to see footage of the gypsum out on the mainline.
Glad you enjoyed the video.
Balbriggan looked different back then compared to now
Thank you for your comment it has changed like all stations.
Gerry
Brilliant
Brilliant footage as always man. I was thinking it can't be 1989 cos of the De Dietriech Enterprise stock and the 201s, is it 99?
Thank you for your comment, it corrected now. It was 1998.
Gerry
My first trip in the de Dietrich stock was in 1997.
What's better than a 141 at Notch 8?
Two of them. 👍
