I agree with this so much. I grew up in competitive sports family and it’s really messed up how I view making “mistakes” or being “imperfect” and seeing someone as talented as her being ok with little imperfections has REALLY helped me accept the mistakes I’m inevitably making in my own pieces. It’s really helpful to see such an awesome finished product and realize that no one else sees the little mistakes that you see and that imperfections are a necessary part of the process.

I have to say, you have truly inspired me to attempt drafting, and it has gone amazingly. It's all been clothes for my daughters but it's been fun. You've also inspired me to do more hand sewing to finish garments, so thank you so much!
Happy Birthday! You can get rid of the wobble on the hem by sewing a guideline 1/4" in and pinking the edges after you trim the circle skirt for warping. Then fold it over and stitch on the lowest tension you can use because it can cause puckering in the chiffon. Either that or you can do a hand stitched rolled hem.
I love bunnies, I've been lucky enough to grow up with bunnies in my house who just walk around doing their own thing kinda like a house dog would. They're very loving and have such different personalities. If you give them love and respect, they open up to you so much, they're great family members. Edit: And I hope you've had a lovely birthday!

Bunnies are wonderful listeners - they're not brilliant conversationalists, but they'll sit there and let you talk to them for hours, and just wiggle their noses at you :-) That bunny-themed fabric is adorable!

Bows are nice, but I have a huge collection of costume jewelry and when a belt buckle doesn't fit, I use a brooch. Or make a flat bow and set a small brooch at the center of the bow. I liked this video. Thank you for sharing. Happy Birthday.

I'm not sure which part you're planning on going to, but Northwood has Antique Alley and there is a three story barn called Crawley Falls in Brentwood that is amazing as well (these are pretty close). If you're in the seacoast, Portsmouth has quite a few shops one of which is a hat shop called Puttin on the Glitz as well as the Portsmouth Fabric Co which usually has beautiful ribbons on display.

Firstly..Happy Birthday! and the trick to ironing polyester is making your cloth wet with cold water . use a low setting of a dry iron for a second or two...it's an old school trick...hope this helps..

As far as I’m aware all of her patterns are pre-twentieth century patterns. I meant fifties and sixties dresses.
