    1) The voice of reason.
    2) The take away message is to not be dogmatic and be open to the possibility of change for the better.
    3) Autism is a super power. :-)
    4) I wish Troy good health and prosperity. Thanks for making the video. I watched the whole thing and enjoyed it.

    Wow I like you better than Dr Berry
    An RN of 30 years you make so much more common sense.
    You seem much safer and have you could say all the missing information I wondered about. In my eyes you are pretty amazing
    Been on carnivore two weeks. Feel pretty great but I will now be careful.
    I never stopped my handful of blue berries a day especially before working out.
    Thank you so much Doctor I have been watching your videos at least three a day.
    You are so much more honest.
    Thank you sooo much.

    I can’t wait to get Sally’s book😊

      Just be aware that this Dr was chronically undereating 1800 calories per day - protein is up to 30% thermogenic and an adult male doing even light exercise should be eating 2500 calories per day, chronic undereating explains all of his symptoms

    Like Casey Ruff, I have a tendency to binge on sugar myself on occasion. I can moderate it, but I just indulge for a few days, then go back to pure carnivore.

    When Troy mentioned that he went on carnivore cold turkey, did he mean that he stopped his meds and insulin also?

    • @troymartin25
      @troymartin25 2 месяца назад

      Hi Chris,
      I went straight to carnivore instead of taking meds and insulin.
      Best decision I ever made

      Yeah, that was pretty pathetic manipulative nonsense. He portrayed all those people like they went vegans and in fact except of one woman they just added some plant treats to their still mostly meat heavy diet.

    >>Compared with metformin, berberine exhibited an identical effect in the regulation of glucose metabolism, such as HbA1c, FBG, PBG, fasting insulin and postprandial insulin. In the regulation of lipid metabolism, berberine activity is better than metformin.

      There are several types of Berberine. Which type was used in the study? I think it can also cause stomach upset and loose stools, similar to metformin.

    PepsiMax - That is me 🤣
    When I'm fasting I don't drink it but if I'm not fasting I tend to drink too much and I often wonder if that bit of sweetness keeps my sugar addiction alive.
    I'm working on it :)

      Worse. It keeps your insulin higher depletes your normal sugar volume. And than is your brain hungry and ask for more food.

    I know it’s said anecdotes are the lowest but how can this be worse than a bad survey epidemiological study when it asks you how often did you eat pizza last year and then count it ad meat. In fact surely if the anecdotes are done with a doctor hence becoming a massive amount of case studies has to be much better than epidemiological studies

    • @georgemoonman2830
      @georgemoonman2830 5 месяцев назад

      Testing something for yourself is the highest form of evidence for me, if I eat a strict vegan diet my health gets way worse. On carnivore I've resolved a laundry list of health complaints. The proof is in the (lack of) pudding.

    low carb, low sugar diet. its not complicated. eat fresh food lots of fruit and berries, vegetables etc, meat and fish. no processed rubbish high sats etc. people eat a ton of carbs their bodies don't need it. non of those vile sugary drinks. just eat healthy you will loose weight and keep disease in a better place. THE trick is don't just stop sugar you will go straight into craving. eat a few bits of dark chocolate or something. a bit of sugar isn't a problem its all the sugar in food. if you look at LOW FAT DIETS, LOL they have really high sugar. FACT.
