Chapter 1: Urgård The Forbidden World The air seemed to hold its breath, and then, with a deafening crack, a bolt of lightning split the sky above Hrafvik, illuminating the interior of the longhouse in an eerie purple glow. The thunderclap was so loud that Ari jolted awake, his ears ringing from the impact. But as the ringing faded, a grin spread across his face, and he sank back into the warmth of his bed. Bet that scared the Bloodguards, he thought, his chest swelling with a strange pride. And anyone else who doesn’t belong in Norinheim. By the time the first light of dawn stretched over the horizon, the storm’s fury felt like a distant memory, swallowed by the serene beauty of morning. Ari slept soundly, wrapped in fur hides, oblivious to the world outside. “Ari! Wake up!” Vidrik’s voice shattered the quiet, his hand gripping Ari’s shoulder with firm insistence, shaking him like a tree stubbornly holding onto its last leaf. Ari groaned, pulling the hides over his head, but Vidrik wasn’t having it. “Come on,” Vidrik urged. “We have to move if we’re going to make it to Wolfspine before nightfall.” The name snapped Ari awake. The fortress at the edge of the world-he’d heard stories about it his entire life. Haunted by both its legend and his own nervous excitement, Ari forced himself to rise, the lingering warmth of the bed quickly replaced by the bite of the cold air. The hours stretched on as they climbed higher into the rugged wilderness. The wind howled through the peaks, growing colder and sharper with every step. The storm from the night before seemed to cling to the mountains, as if its fury had seeped into the landscape itself. The sky blazed with the colors of sunset as Vidrik stopped and gestured forward. “There it is... Wolfspine Fortress. The edge of the world.” Ari couldn’t believe his eyes. The path led to a fortress with tall, ancient stone walls that seemed to spring straight out of the mountain. He felt as though he had stepped into a dream, each step pulling him further into it. The spirits of many human kinds seemed to linger, their histories woven into the very fabric of the land, each one having passed through here at some point in time. As they walked up to the gate, the walls loomed above them, so high they seemed to pierce the sky, casting long shadows over the ground. The gate bore the scars of countless attacks, with deep claw marks gouged into the timber. Faded runes marked the arch above, their cryptic shapes evoking a language long forgotten. Tjalfe stepped forward and knocked on the gate. The sound echoed through the mountains, sharp and hollow, shattering the heavy silence that surrounded them. The wind seemed to carry the weight of a thousand eyes, watching them as they stood exposed, dark silhouettes against the golden glow of the setting sun. "Do they always make you wait like this?" Ari’s voice was low, filled with uncertainty. "That’s strange. The southern gate is usually left open," Tjalfe said uncertainly. The silence stretched on, until the gate finally groaned. With a slow, reluctant creak, it began to open, revealing the darkened interior of the fortress. The gate creaked open, and they stepped inside.
I know my comment is easily lost here, but if you're reading this, it's no coincidence. Be sure, gain strength! Even if you are going through something very difficult in your life. Believe that everything will work out! This is just a phase, hang on! I know we don't know each other, but I believe in you! Rest assured that God is always on your side!
I feel exhausted by life... perfect to take some time off and let fantasy do the rest.
Very beautiful picture and soundtrack!
Hope you feel better soon :) - sometimes it's nice to dream away for a little while

Im a wanderer, and my time has come,
To leave this place, that I really wasn't from,
I wished for peace for friends and foes,
I am nearing the sun and I feel it's warmth that flows,
Goodbye to all I hope you will remember me,
Now Im gone, now Im free
Goodbye
