Just got my first fly rod for steelhead this season for fishing great lakes steelhead! These videos have been super helpful, while I'm not fishing steelhead alley these still help out a ton! Maybe next year once all the COVID restrictions get a little more relaxed I will make.it across the border to fish steelhead alley and maybe even get you guys as a guide! Tight lines and thanks again for all the videos!
The usgs thing is definitely new. I Googled it while watching this and lo and behold it did Milwaukee River usgs. Every time I watch a mro video I learn something valuable!
Excellent information. Thanks for sharing. In what little steelheading I’ve done in the Great Lakes area I had the best luck stripping streamers down stream or down and across. Straight across the current or upstream were never productive and neither was swinging a streamer. I don’t know how you guys feel about it but that was my experience.
I would definitely appreciate a tutorial on USGS data. I have used the site before, but at a really basic level. Would love to know if I'm missing out on any significant data. Love the channel!
Do you guys do steelhead guided trips in Pennsylvania? I usually go to elk and crooked creek. Just getting into fly fishing and would like to speed up my learning time and learn correctly.
Thanks for tuning in 🤙 Lots more coming your way in 2020! What are your thoughts? Comment below.
Definitely would love a tutorial on water conditions, flow rates, etc.
Thanks guys.
Stay tuned.

How about deep water fly river fishing
Sure. Get your flies deep.
Tip six don't post fishing spots and fish pics on social media some folks just don't understand catch and release 😉
Goes without saying right?
If the video doesn't start with "well Howdy, Friends" I don't know if I'm legally allowed to watch it.
Not sure about that. No laws here.
