- A collection of beautiful aerial footage I shot with a DJI Phantom 3 drone, during the early hours and sunrises of summer 2015. This is a highlight to show the beauty of our county, and how lucky we are to live here.

This is my homeland. I moved away last year for a number of reasons, and realised just before it was too late that Sussex is home for me. I can't wait to come back, and I'm so glad I was able to choose before finalising my university offer, I didn't know how homesick I was. It may be more expensive than where I am now, but nothing can be worth more than where you consider home.
I'm an American married to a British woman, and we live in West Sussex -- you're right, Hannah, it is beautiful here!

thank you for putting this on here. my brother commited suicide at beachy head in Feb this year. this video shows that eastbourne beachy head is a beautiful place and not just a dark place. Thier is always help and the chaplains who gauss the area who try and stop it do a fantastic job

OMG! No word can express how I feel right now. I graduated from university of Sussex two years ago and this video makes me miss my university and every places I've been to so bad. This is awesome!!
How was the overall experience at the University and the location? I'm a prospective student of the university. Waiting for my offer letter.
Sussex born, and on my father's side at least, Sussex bred way back into the 16th and 17th centuries at least...and yes you show some very beautiful aerial views of a beautiful county...but I hope you won't mind me pointing out that it's very much centred on East Sussex. I think you strayed once to Lancing College, then two or three times as far west as Arundel and the Arun Valley...there's a lot more than that if you keep coming west! (In no particular order Selsey Bill, Chichester Harbour, Bosham, Cowdray, Uppark, Amberley & Houghton, Petworth etc all spring to mind, and there's much more)...but thanks for the three and a half minutes of tranquillity anyway!

Actually, it doesn't show all that much of East Sussex either--I can think of plenty of beauty there not shown, including the border with Kent with the old Cinque Ports (eg., Rye), the edge of Romney Marsh, also Ashdown Forest and the Weald near the border with Kent ... Plenty of stately homes in the Weald also. But I do agree about West Sussex!

Yes, I would happily live in Sussex. The only thing I can understand about people who live there wanting to go to Spain and places like that, is for the warmth. I did find Sussex colder in the summer than I am used to (I live in Canada).

Just watched this again for what is probably the 10th time. It really is beautiful. I live in West Sussex and all of these places are pretty much on my door step. It is a stunning area and this video really does showcase it fantastically.

This truly is stunning... I've hit a few of those locations with drone but never got even close to this kind of production. In awe.....
I came to England for the first time. I stayed with a cousin in Eastbourne. I couldn't have come to a more beautiful part of the country. In fact, once I had seen a few special places that meant something to me personally, I didn't want to leave East Sussex. If it had been easy for me to immigrate to England, I think I would have done so, except that all of my family lives in Canada, as I do.

As this is my home county, I believe it is my duty to tell people why they should live in this paradise.
It is the birthplace of the television, motor racing, rock sticks and the stone castle.
There are many wonderful places to live to:
Bexhill-On-Sea, Arundel, Brighton, Eastbourne, Rye, Bognor Regis, Chichester, Gatwick, Battle, Hove, Selsea, Worthing, Lewes, East grinstead, Robertsbridge, Camber sands, Fairlight, Hooe, Sheffield park, Hastings, Ringmet, Glynde, Newhaven, Rottingdean, Falmer, Peacehaven, and many, many more.
The natural geography is astonishing, from trees with roots that grow up to mountains, White cliffs, Open fields, Great forests, Sand dunes to rocky/ Pebble beaches.
Low population, so low crime.
And famous celebrities ( including Paul McCartney).
