Was jealous of the 60's n 70's for their music. The universe did us a solid to give us this band now.
I was lucky enough to live through the 60-70s and still get to enjoy GVF!♥️🤘🏻
Yeah, history decided to rhyme incredibly with this happening.
There's good music everywhere dude it just depends on what you're looking for
4 realz.. they are the good ol boys from zeppelin reincarnated I'm sure of it!! 👌
I am 60 they are here for you. So are we 🤘✌
I hope this song is played for 30 minutes live in concerts.
Same
they've been playing "black flag exposition" for a while now live, look it up. they play it pretty long, and it's the same main riff
Heck yeah!

how this album wasn't nominated for a Grammy, I will never comprehend...
Ya definitely some bullshit.
because talent is not considered for grammy's anymore
in today's day and age, if you don't have women, or a PoC in your band, good luck earning any commendations.
WTF is a Grammy anyway??
Proves everything. They are a beacon of light ✨️
The ad break right as the solo drops is a crime against humanity
@myind4059 Hell yes!
Because no song could ever possibly be longer than 5 minutes🙄
Yeah wtf is that all about??
In ancient times, like in ancient Greece or Rome, they would have been jailed or banned from the city/country. No joke. They even banned people from making shit/discordant music because it has a detrimental effect on the psychology of the populace. They knew. Shit, for adding advertisements mid-song, they might have been executed.
That's when you know you did something master class lol
The guy that put an ad right before the solo deserves prison
Abso-bloody-lutely!!!
Yt premiun
RUclips premium is only like 10 bucks a month...I consider it worth it! No ads! Plus you should buy this record on vinyl anyway. It's worth it!
Like I really needed to see an ad for cascade dishwashing detergent right smack in the middle of this incredible song🙄
It happens every time, man!

Not long enough 😁🥰🥰🥰🥰

I hear ya. Lots of people play radio at work and long hours and with the ecommerce radio play is a great way to reach people who have not heard the band. But, I hear them. Even Jake in an interview said in Canada radio blew them up. Yassss do you. Peace your way
It's definitely an amazing feeling hearing your favorite band's song playing on your local radio station for the first time. Idk 😁. I have the record and CD but there's something about radio quality that makes me want to crank it up and relish in the moment of audible glory, while hoping it lasts longer than the allotted time slot.. so you turn the volume up and break out the air drums, guitar, bass, and microphone.
@@EzaVinylAddict yeah all stations are different. I hear ya. I have Sirius radio so no commercials. I do understand you perfectly tho. Best wishes
Lets all give a big thanks to Mama Kiszka for being a vessel of Rock reincarnation.

How proud all parents evolved ! As they should be. Good upbringing. Lucky kids, Lucky parents. God bless all.
Cheers to her.
Exactly
I wanna thank their mother for giving birth to 3 awesome musicians
God damn. I thought their first album needed more guitar solos and this one blew my mind. Anyone who hates these kids is out of his mind.
Totally agree, how can anyone hate them? They are so talented!
That solo is half rate Stairway To Heaven. Nothing more.
I haven't heard a bad album or song made by Greta Van Fleet yet in my opinion.
@@yourtubesteak Jimmy Page was a great engineer but his guitar work was never very clean. For some reason he suffered from "sleeping sickness" as Plant said. If you have good head gear on this is closer to David Gilmore IMO

Coming from a 20 year old I think they are no competition even comes close, the vocals I’m every song are immaculate the passion they have for music is unreal, it’s great to see it again I never thought I’d be able to experience listening to something like this for the first time, this is what my parents felt when they discovered led zep
One of the best bands I've ever heard!!
This song is just surreal. When I first listened to it, it was close to midnight. It was dark, I had my eyes closed and I was experiencing the music. I listened to the whole album in order. When the cut off happened halfway through, I thought, "Please don't have this song end." Then... The faintest note, getting louder. When I tell you I got chills on the buildup and climax after the cut, I mean it. I felt the solo and everything after in my bones. It's an experience I've never had before, and one I hope I will have again. I hope some others got to experience this as well. Absolute 10/10 song.
I had exactly this experience listening to it the day it came out at midnight. I listened to this banger three times in a row.
Same here. Everytime I listen to this i have to stop whatever i'm doing and just live the experience. Goosebumps and joy... I've never felt something similar through any form of art.
It's a very similar effect to meditation for me, sometimes I put this after a meditation and.. Try it out :) i'm in paradise.
Thank you Greta for this piece of art. 10/10
Love that mate! This is what music is about. What an amazing song and story :)
Haven't heard a bad song yet from them
Achava que só eu tinha tido essa sensação aos 5 minutos da música, quando a voz se distancia e deixa apenas o solo de guitarra brilhar. A sensação é indescritível!
Bro that guitar 🎸 player is amazing 6:42 😌
It won best guitar solo of the 21st century for a reason
Imo Buckethead is a far better guitarist (probably the best alive) and his song Soothsayer is a masterpiece that deserved this title far above anything that appeared in the rankings. Why this one ? Maybe it's because his songs are mostly instrumental and you can't call a whole song a "solo" but in terms of guitar playing you can't even compare both tracks.
That said I love this one, especially the singing, but so-called guitar experts really sleep on the Legend that Buckethead is.
@@amauryliscak3938it’s the originality. Nothing sounds like this now, it stands out. Maybe not the most talented or technically sound but the solo is different…far away from what we’ve heard in a long time

One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard
Don't wish to be nasty but my God anyone calling this band rip off's blah blah need to give their heads a wobble. I love Zeppelin but these guys are their own band and they are incredible. I never thought in my lifetime with the crap music we have to suffer these days that a band would produce anything like this again. It like I have been waiting for the seventies for these guys to arrive. Wonderful, truly wonderful.

All across the west we traveled wayward for
To find the weight of dreams in gold
Heaven sent us here to meet the hallowed shore
To claim the wealth that we had sold

Spoiled wine tastes so sweet we have gone blind
Gold mines melting men in the sunshine
Spoiled wine tastes so sweet we have gone blind
We stole from her a cloak of studded majesty
The queen is dead, we robbed her grave

Okay, folks - what ya got here is one of ROCK’S FINEST VOICES, with quality material that could’ve been released in 1968 and given the rest of Rock Stardom a run.. all of this could always be done on original analogue equipment of that time and they can easily do it LIVE.. which is always best..

This song gave me my first musical high. When I first listened to this song I turned my headphones to max volume and laid down on my bed, half of the time staring at the ceiling and half closing my eyes. I truly felt the song, the vocals with the drums and the emotion that flowed out of jakes guitar, there is such a beautiful synchronicity between them. As the guitar solo started to come to fruition I opened my eyes and looked at my ceiling, every note perfectly played as heartfelt poetry, the room began to spin. Everything lined up perfectly, the panning of the guitar from channel to channel, and the passion of the drums. Beautiful composition.

3 days ago, Ultimate Guitar posted on facebook that these guys were ready to drop their 3rd album soon.
I thought to myself that it was finally time to give these guys a proper go. I had heard 2 of the songs from their EP, but that was pretty much it.
Here I am now 3 days later, and this has become one of my instant top 10 favourite bands. I’ve made a playlist with all their songs, the 8 EP songs, 11 debum album songs, and 12 2nd album songs. And there is really NO bad songs. No song is even close to bad. They’re all great. The playlist contains 31 songs, it lasts 2 hours, and this thing ends all of it. What a way to end it! I love this. I wish all the robert plant fanboys could put it away and give them a proper chance. I listen to my entire playlist about twice a day now, and I’m so happy I made it. I am now their biggest fan. They bring me hope for the future, for the first time in forever. Mastodon, Coldplay and Muse were the youngest bands I listended to before this, and they’re all pushing 50 now. Pop music has been safe for a while, and now finally, ROCK IS SAFE!❤
