thanks but if I don't change my style (which I won't) I don't see how I could reach that number... I need to cover more genre and treat topic broader, which I dont really like/want to tbh... I am very happy with where I am now

8:15 That is something super important you say there - sometimes MORE melody in techno will become MORE boring. It‘s something I noticed pretty early on when I got into this genre, that minimalism often works better. There is always a certain point where if you add more melody, you‘ll have to work harder and harder to keep that melody evolving, otherwise it will become annoying - whereas a simple melody (or perhaps something so basic you cannot even call it a melody) you will be able to listen to forever as long as it has an interesting texture.

yeah agree a lot on that, somehow a 3 note melody is more interesting and listenable for longer period of time than a longer melody...I think part of the trick can be also that longer melody you quickly get the pattern and know when it start and finish, where the sorter pattern couple with polymeter kind of get this infinite neverending vibe where there is no start and end but just an infinite hypnotic loop...

Could you do a video on like Fachwerk style bass sound desing. I've tried everything and I just can't math the sound, not ever close. How would you go recreating that?
