Chimscan inspection of masonry fireplace flue chimney. There were areas of eroded and missing mortar visible between the clay tile flue blocks in multiple locations. This will result in a poor draft. This is an interior fireplace chimney and products of combustion may exit these gaps and enter into the living space and wall resulting in a risk of structure fire. I recommend not using the fireplace until corrective actions are completed to eliminate these conditions.
