+BlazeHeatnix - Definitive Dubs It's kind of ironic, considering that the dub itself is pretty infamous for the abundance of 4kids edits. The voice actors themselves are great, though. It would be amazing to see a more accurate dub bringing back the old voices. Not that it would ever happen, but a guy can dream...
Real shame the uncut DVD didn't last very long, it was pretty nice while it lasted seeing those iconic voices with the original musical score and better voice direction.
Draws two cards, if cup of ace is one of the cards, you instantly draw two more cards. And if you deck out, take all of the cards in your hand, replenish your deck, and draw a new hand. For every spell card, gain 500 Life points.
That kicked ass. I love how they manage to stay in character even though the show ended ten years ago. Very entertaining duel! One of the best voice actor duels I've seen
This is so awesome! I think it's REALLY admirable that Eric Stuart and Darren Dunstan did this almost a decade after the series ended. What a treat for their fans! Especially older fans like me who grew up with the original YGO! Kaiba and Pegasus have always been my absolute favorite characters so this couldn't have been better in my opinion. I haven't watched any of the newer series or played the TCG in years, so many newer aspects of the game were lost on me, but it was still a riveting and close duel and highly entertaining. I don't mind if it's scripted; so is the show. Their dynamic is hilarious as usual with all the insults and antagonizing banter. Both VA's just killed it (in a good way)!
@Ian Anderson They specifically explain what the difference is between "if" effects and "when" effects in the video (this only applies to optional effects, card that say "you can". If a card effect must activate provided a condition is met, it won't matter whether the card says "if" or "when" ). We'll use Castle of Dragon Souls as the example here, since it's the card present in the video. You can, once it's sent from the field to the GY, Special Summon a banished dragon If the card did say "if", then it can be activated after any chain that involves sending the card to the GY is completely resolved (similar to what happens in the video, Chaos Emperor Dragon inflicted damage after sending the card to the GY, yet the card still resolved) However, if the condition on the card is not the last thing to occur in a given chain, a "when" effect (such as the effect that's _actually_ printed on Castle of Dragon Souls) will not activate. Thus, if he were using the card that actually got printed rather than what he claimed to have, it would not activate due to Chaos Emperor Dragon inflicting damage after sending all cards to the GY. This is why players typically complain about missing timing Another example is kind of an ironic one, Guardian Eatos and Celestial Sword - Eatos. When Eatos (the equip spell) is sent to the GY, Eatos (the monster) will gain 500 ATK for every banished Monster. Eatos (the monster) can send an equip card that's equipped to her to the GY to pop 3 card, the issue with this being that popping those 3 cards makes it so Eatos (the equip spell) doesn't prompt to give Eatos (the monster) her ATK boost, since being sent to the GY isn't the last thing to happen
When Chaos Emperor got summoned this should have happened Pegasus: Chaos Emperor Dragon? Thats impossible, due to it being on the Forbidden/Limited List, The Rules state that that card cannot be played. Kaiba: Screw the Rules I have Money
Eric & Darren have special chemistry, and I like to think they give a depth and life to their characters that wouldn't otherwise be there, because they have a fondness for them and pride in them (that gets them showing up to do gigs like this).
***** Crush Card Virus/Exchange of Spirit/Sinister Serpent/Temple of the Kings (Neutered/Over Nerfed), CED/Ring of Destruction (Nerfed, but still good)
In middle school I constantly lost (1 time each week) to this kid for a few months. He stuffed his deck with monsters that have high ATK, and that was pretty much it. Finally, I decided that I REALLY want to win just once. So I thought hard about how he played.... Only with monsters, so I made a deck that destroys monsters
The very last day came and he said "Ready to get your butt kicked again?" I had him on the ropes. Every monster he played got destroyed... But then he played Chaos emperor dragons. I had the evacuation device, and sent it to his hand, but that was all I had, and he just re-summoned it. I had 4200 LP, and he had 2000. And I lost. It was so close! But I was proud of my strategy, and hard work I did to get that close. Every time I played, I never came close to winning, except that time. One more turn, and I would have won... But woulda coulda and shoulda don't factor into the result.
this is SO awesome. i love them for still supporting the game after more than 10years and just close your eyes and think they duel like in the anime (without the audience freaking out)
Best Duel ever. Even though it was scripted, the voice acting was off a little. Regardless, it was designed to be extremely intense and the trash talk was the best. Really awesome duel! I need to make sure I make it to the World Championship Qualifier next time so I don't miss these sick character duels!
the blue eyes was copied from a dragon it can never be gruesome and different you can look at the head the body and old castle dragon but did make it look different

+nightwingvmc2 I mean yeah but you could make the same argument about any duelist. Besides, he literally strung Yami and Kaiba along for the entire duel. First forcing them to destroy Kyutora, then getting him to destroy Shunoros. I mean the divine serpent thing fucked up but still
LOL somehow I fucking knew Pegasus had Mirror force. What made me doubt it at first was the possibility that the wind-up deck didn't include a Mirror Force trap card with all the puny overrated cards out there.
Far from it. There are many monsters I can think of that three blue-eyes would be no help against and an Ultimate Dragon would. After you're done with that monster, just throw de-fusion.
Sorry to reply to a 3-year old comment, but there IS a purpose for it. When you summon Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, you can sacrifice it to summon a Blue Eyes Shining Dragon from your hand. Blue Eyes Shining Dragon has the absolutely broken effects of negating all effects directed at it, AND gaining 300 Attack Points for every Dragon in the graveyard. So I'd say that, when played in a combo with Shining, at least, Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon is very useful.

Darren Dunstan is having way too much fun as Pegasus

+Blazieth That's a lot easier said than done. I can't think of one because Darren Dunstan *IS* Pegasus. He owns the role.
TheShapeH31 I wish to meet him
As he should. Pegasus is a fun dude
its so hard not to have fun as a character like pegasus i can do a iffy pegasus impression its actually extremely fun

haha, Eric Stuart look him up.

Screw your green hair i have dan green

seems like Pegasus's millenium eye is very nerfed in this game.
Literal chills when Kaibas voice actor called the blue-eyes white lightening attack.
If Kaiba dueled against a Wind-Up deck IRL, he'd get reckted. Pegasus doesn't know what the hell he's doing.

kaiba explained it. An optional effect that says "if" can activate, even if it isn't the last thing to happen. An optional effect that says "if" can only activate at the end of a chain in which its conditions being met is the last thing to happen.
either way it's funny to see the VA's for kaiba and pegasus playing children's card games
This is much more enjoyable than the show. The duel makes more sense with them using actually decent cards

Blue-eyes Ultimate Dragon sucks given you just gave three 3000 attack monsters for a 4500. Seems pointless.
