- When on a cruise I like to try all the included food and a Royal Caribbean cruise has a lot of included dining options to choose from. How do you decide which ones to try? Burrito on the Lido, yes please. In our Royal Caribbean Cruise food video we are going to tell you everything you need to know about El Loco Fresh so you know what to expect and if you would like to try this restaurant.
We start our Royal Caribbean cruise food reviews looking at the atmosphere and this will be different depending the ship you are on. El Loco fresh is a Mexican restaurant with lots of bright colours, table seating and views of the water. It is a buffet or quick service type restaurant. So you go to the counter and choose the food you want and then find a table or take it back to your lounge chair to enjoy by the pool. I also like the plants they have at the entrance. The colours and theming gives the restaurant a great casual atmosphere and perfect for grabbing a snack during the day. You don’t need to wait for the buffet to serve Mexican food, it is Taco Tuesday everyday.
Royal Caribbean Restaurants are not always in the same location. There are a variety of different classes of ships with different layouts. For example, on the Odyssey of the Seas it is right on the main pool deck near the kids Splashaway Bay. However on the Wonder of the seas El Loco fresh is one deck up near the sports court and mini putt course. Right now El Locco fresh is on 7 Royal Caribbean ships including Oasis of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, the Symphony, Freedom, Liberty, Odyssey and Wonder of the Seas.

Hey random question and off topic. If we booked a dinner at the specialty restaurant on celebrity and payed the fee/price to eat there. Is that money only to get in? Do we have to pay additionally for the food?

Food is included when you book a speciality restaurant. There (sometimes) are upgrades that you. Spend extra for (generally regional) but you can expect a meal and dessert for the price of entree w if that makes sense. Happy Travels
