I saw Alex, along with Young & Strange (also touring with them) when they played in Preston, UK. Absolutely AMAZING show. Anyone who has the opportunity to go see this show, DO IT!
Simple magic tricks were always impressive at parties. The first guy- the answer is with the pen he had you write with. Not sure how he got the info. It could be as simple as he has an earpiece and someone has a computer tablet and tells him what was written. Second guy pulls the end of his pen off when he pulls it out of his pocket and has something in his left hand. He then puts it back on the pen when he puts it away. First guy was good, presented well. Second guy looks the part but gave away the entire trick by not hiding the removal of his little inker dotter. Good work Jen.

I saw the X get put on your hand!! ....he had a little Stamp in his hand that he pulled from the black pen;). I totally missed it and then rewatched the video a few times. He was slick!! Loved it! But I definitely didn't figure out the name trick! That was slick!!
This reminded me of David Blane at Harrison Ford's house and he did a trick. Perturbed, Harrison said, "Get the f*** out of my house." That was really wild to watch those guys do their deal.

he knew ur non-dominant hand all along cuz u were holding the papers with the other one thats how he knew in which of his own hands he could put the backside of the (not regular) marker (2:33 in the vid) which has a stamp on it (u can see the stamp at 2:44 for a split second - he didnt expect u to be as expressive and raise ur hand away from his so quickly, u can see it on his pointer finger), at 2:49 he puts on the backside of the marker back onto it
