After seeing an amazing RUclips video of a magic trick, Ellen invited illusionist Eric Ross to make his television debut. His tricks left Ellen speechless.
+Bobby Sherman I know a lot and I'm still amazed. I can even see some of the tricks, but I'm still amazed by the skillfulness. For example the rubber band trick is obvious, but it's executed so smooth that is still amazing.
Jakub Szymaniak You see when he is pulling the bands to show he can "shoot her in her eye" and that the bands doesn't go through each other - that's the moment he switches his fingers and the small band flips and find itself on the other side. But I still enjoy watching it. Great execution.
I will never understand this mentality on the internet that you suddenly feel a higher sense of entitlement and doucheyness when it comes to figuring out magic tricks. Of course there is a method, why did you not think there was a method to begin with, as opposed to him conjuring cards out of the underworld? Do you want a cookie for figuring that out?
I WAS COMPLETELY AMAZED BY EVERY SINGLE TRICK HE DID. NO MATTER HOW EASY IT IS OR HOW CLICHE IT IS. THIS GUY DID THE TRICKS JUST SO SMOOTHLY AND I LOVED IT
My eyes can't catch everything what he does, so for me it's magic. I have no clue how he does that. And I like this feeling. It's better than bitching all these ''I can do better''. If you could, smartasses, you would be on Ellen. No credits are given for writing comments. Actions speaks louder. Awesome guy! :)
GOOD FUCKING GOD! Who cares HOW he did it? Do you HAVE to know and say "it's fake" when we already know it is? It is amazing and doesn't need to be explained, that's the charm. Let it be and don't try to ruin it just because you can't understand it!
To all of the ignorant and jealous people constantly saying "He sucks he has no talent", or, "This guy is so unoriginal and I can do this and I'm 15", if you could, wouldn't you be on the show too? If you're that good that you could fool entire audiences LIVE, wouldn't you be signed and have a contract already? Oh and btw, EVERY trick that people perform has been done in one way or another, SO THERE IS NOTHING ORIGINAL. Like calm down. So many people on this video constantly saying the same thing over and over. Unless you put up a video of yourself doing these tricks live AND ones that have NEVER been done before in the history of human life, shut up as you and your pointless argument is invalid.
Lord, I can't believe how many people on this thread are critical. He's an entertainer, not a Warlock with a magic wand. He's not trying to make anyone believe he's doing things that are impossible, he's just using good old fashioned props and slight of hand to create _illusions_. Why so critical and hateful towards him? What he does is make people smile, there's nothing wrong with that.
Silly, these are tricks you learn when you're bored af in math. I learned them all in about a week with less than an hours practice a day. I can sure as hell do them better than this guy.
+Part Time Gamer As weird as it sounds, all of these tricks are very beginner tricks, I've only been performing for a few years so I cant comment on an expert level, But I too learned some of these as my first tricks and was able to get them down within the week.
after someone pointed out that the guy used a clear sleeve for the last trick, i re-watched the part and saw the clear sleeve roll down . there's a reason why he's called an illusionist, not a magician. lol
Jiggy Giuliani I couldn't figure out how he did any of it although I realize he probably brought props with him that were designed to aid an illusionist.
Jiggy Giuliani I wonder if his deck of "Ellen" cards from the gift shop might have been altered by him somehow? Why would Ellen be selling cards anyway? hahaha
+Firsto Frado Because their are two types of people in this world. People who have the unrelenting urge to know everything and the people who are satisfied with their ignorance.
Munira Aden Duplicates king cards, double lifts, passes, here and there trick. Very standard and basic card tricks. If u are really interested go search it up in youtube. Just write "here and therw card trick" and the names that I mentioned above and you'll realise how lame is actually is.
And you can't make an argument without insulting. What has my english to do with it? I won't come back and answer you again, you sir are immature, If you understand what he does when he does it, it can make the trick even better. Have a nice day
At 1:39 you see him flip the top card over and it's the king. He blew his own trick. He puts a king in your hand with misdirection and shows you a second King that's in the deck.
Everything ellen says always makes people laugh, but then there's me. I tell me friends "Their cards." And they stare at me, but when ellen says "Their cards." People crack up. It's a whole different story when ellen says it, her voice just makes everyone smile.

This guy is good. I think he needs to work on his "act" a bit. Maybe get a bit wittier or whatever. But he is very talented. Idk why people like to know how someone does a trick. I like not knowing. Once you know it cheapens it.
phileagfan I like to know how he did it, because I am into magic myself so I would love to preform them myself! although some of them I already know ^^
edkroketje1 Look up ambitious card routine and hand sandwich card trick. Neither of these are created by him nor should he have taken any credit for them. He is not original and that's why he isn't famous.
+phileagfan One you know the trick, and what it takes to pull it off, it makes it more impressive, because as far as you're aware, this is all pre-staged with Ellen and possibly the audience if you don't know the process.
Joe Williams nope. when he pulls back and says "I can shoot you in the eye" he grabs the rubber band with his middle finger then slips his index finger back in causing the rubber band to be on the other side.
Are you people serious? Why do you have to ruin something as amazing as this? Just because "you can do it too". Well. I'm just guessing half the people that watched this, can't. So let us appreciate and be amazed by this guy.
don kaspersky there are some things better left unknown. We can find these things by thinking about it. "Will not knowing hurt me?" If it wont, they what is the harm in not knowing?
He actually uses 2 kings in his deck :) Because he shows the 2 of clubs with the double lift. puts a king in her hand. then takes the 2 of clubs and rubs it on ellens card(king) and then if you play the video at 0.25 speed 01:39 you see he accidentally flips up the top card in his deck and flashes the other king when ellen is holding her king.
That last one is pretty easy. 7 of hearts forced, and the picture on his arm predrawn ahead of time. some kind of invisible magic store sticky substance folding his skin up to hide the 7 and make it look like just the one card drawn. might add a bit more black at the fold in his skin to help hide it. when he rubs his arm it just in sticks and releases the fold. watch how he holds his arm the while time. only need the 7 predrawn and hidden with the fold actually.
At 6.00 it looks as if he's wearing some sort of transparent armwear, as you can kind of see the ends on his wrists. But this guy is really impressive! Gotta learn me some illusion-making!
The one where he said did the two rubber bands watch when he says, 'I could shoot you in the eye but I wouldn't do that' he used that to distract you and quickly move fingers to the other side, it's not 'magic' just illusion, the whole name of the game is to distract and do the unexpected
Daniel Shields if you are on TV and want to promote your act would you say 'what am about to show you is an old trick I bought' or 'am about to show you something special '..
Oh, man! I've learned just enough tricks to find this silly. I'm glad people here like it though. I thought I was redundant but not quite, this guy is on Ellen!
Fuckers you people don't know what magic is, aren't every trick so simple once you know the secret. Thats the problem of youtube, they reveal tricks which is strickly prohibited in magic. Get the fuck out of youtube and grab some books.
The last one's actually pretty easy to figure out. First, it didn't matter where he stopped the deck, as I believe he did a slight of hand to grab the one which was already on the top. When he was drawing the card, he was actually wearing a sleeve. He's just tracing over what's already there. If you look very carefully at his wrist when he's "shaking" the deck, you can see the end of the sleeve, which looks like a thin, skin-colored band. He just pulls on the sleeve to reveal the extra part.
I'm no magician and I like to watch them but this guy has lousy stage presence, he doesn't articulate his tricks well, and when he does his finale of the trick he goes through it so fast that the audience is a bit confused as to what happened. Ellen had to tell him a few times to do the trick again so the audience can grasp what he actually did.
the last trick is simple, he cuts the deck at the 7 of hearts because he knows where it is, or the whole deck is 7 of hearts, his hand has the 7 of hearts on it from before thats why he didnt show his sleeve, and he drew a little bit on it. when he wiped he removed the glue that was holding back the 7 of hearts and that is it. i think
Actually I think it was a clear sleeve with the card drawn on. You can look closely and see the sleeve peel back a little right below his palm on his wrist.
First trick was a double lift, where he makes us think that the chosen card is not on top. The rubber band is extremely simple, as he switches the band from his index to middle finger when he does the "I would shoot you in the eye" move. The third is puzzling, but has either a card force or prepared deck.
Spoiler Alert For The Curious: Trick 1: He picked up two cards multiple times, giving the effect that the card jumped places, he also used 2 of the same card to make it appear as though he moved the card to Ellen's hand Trick 2: He moved the band around and when he said "I can shoot you in the eye but I won't" he used his middle finger to switch the rubber band around the other one. Trick 3: The deck was not legitimate. His deck had 1 specific card flipped over (the 9 of clubs), she showed that the deck was regular, but did not show the whole deck, only the top few cards. As for Ellen's deck, the top half was one color, the bottom half was another, she took a card flipped it and cut the deck. When he showed that the cards were the same he only showed the specific card that was already flipped and planted there, Ellen's actual flipped card was towards the bottom. When he showed that the card were a different color he was only showing a certain portion of the deck. Does this make the illusionist a bad guy? No, absolutely not. He is an "illusionist." It's his job to make magic seem real. My reason for pointing this out is because there are a lot of curious people out there who are dying to figure out how he did these tricks. Also because I think the magic performed today is pretty bad in terms of the work put in, yea he practices a lot to get the movements right, but today simple card forces can be done by a child. Sorry if my explanations are not clear enough for you to perform them yourself, they're only purpose is to give you basic descriptions at how these tricks are done. Don't complain to me saying that I spoiled these trick for you, I put a disclaimer at the top so don't come at me with your garbage attempt at an argument, I don't have the time.
***** I like how you're calling me a little boy even though you just used the word "u." Refrain from further embarrassing yourself because I can clearly see on your Google+ page that you watch videos only a child would.
Chasz Hodgson Hahaha "kids." Yup, you got me. And how you made fun of my name, yea that reminds me of kindergarten. And I'm the kid? Ur g00d. I did say "spoiler alert" so please direct your complaints to someone who gives a fuck.
Eric is a competent magician and - even though his tricks are fairly standard - he deserves credit for handling his first tv appearance well. As a working magician, I would give one piece of advice though - drop the 'I MAKE IDEAS BETTER' nonsense, since all of these tricks are somebody else's invention and it's not right to take credit for tricks invented by other people. In the magic community that kind of thing is one way to lose friends quickly. So Eric - if you're reading this - just stick with your growing skills, find other magicians for support, give credit where credit is due to others and make the most of opportunities like this. Good luck in your career.
i am not sucking anything! when i see bullshit i call it bullshit! you are stupid cause you like stupid tricks! ellen or tv has nothing to do with this!~
its true, he's not original. If you have actually followed magic (unlike ellen or anyone in that building) you would be able to tell that all of the tricks that he performed have been around for atleast 10 years or more. Sadly, david blaine has atleast 3 of em in his old 1990's tv show.
www.reference.com/beauty-fashion/meaning-solid-black-armband-tattoos-ff3bf6053bd83fc2 Black armband tattoos take their roots from black cloth armbands traditionally worn as a sign of mourning. These circles of cloth were worn over the sleeve of a shirt or jacket or just on the skin in the days and weeks following the passing of a loved one. In order to carry the memories of a lost friend or family member past the duration of wearing a physical arm band, many people choose to have black arm bands tattooed on their skin. This serves as a permanent, personal reminder of a special person and shows an individual's dedication to the remembrance of the person he lost. Black armband tattoos are commonly placed on the wrists and ankles. Some people elect to have bands on their upper arm near the shoulder or on the top of the forearm by the elbow. Black armband tattoos are placed as single or double bands and vary in thickness depending on the recipient's wishes.
Wow, I was replying to a guy who said he wasn't original, and then suddenly I realized how many of you seem to agree. What are you all, elitists? I mean, of course he might not have all of his tricks be original, but he's great! I mean, why does it matter if the majority doesn't know and gets that genuine thrill, regardless of what kind of "beliefs" they tag with it? I wager the most of us wouldn't go up onto Ellen's show and attempt an entire series of routines that are completely original to ourselves, that's just impossible in most cases. Aside from that, the magic community is small as it is, so I think this sort of exposure of a pretty skilled guy is fantastic. It's better than a clown or any one of us (mostly teenagers making these condescending remarks) who feel we're more skilled than he is but seriously, who cares? He didn't flash, it's likely NOBODY in the audience knows what he did unless they're a heckler or have cared enough to learn the secrets before-hand, so why does it matter what he did? Jeez, get over yourselves.
Now we are getting on television by doing old lame tricks? So you guys knew the thing he is doing here are the equivalent of the behind the ear penny. They are THAT lame.
How can you say a 2 card transpo, crazy mans handcuffs, do as I do with a mentalism addition and card rizer lame??? None of the old classics are lame. It's all in the showmanship. If you can connect and get that reaction from people with any effect. That's the real magic. It's performance. Never de-value classics or low level magic tricks. If you're a magic hobbyist. Amateur or pro... You would respect the art more in all its forms. Nothing lame here.
HOT54UCE dude, chill, classics are alright. But they are supposed to be used ar a foundation to build something original not being performed ad nauseam on TV for actual money.
Daniel Korolev I am chill... I think you assumed and read that with a heavy tone... I'll put smiley faces now to help ;-) foundation or not... It's all in the way it's presented, delivered, showmanship... Look at Britain's got talent this year... Jamie Raven did Cardtoon and killed it with a different style of presentation and got ballistic reactions... How do you know that that bloke got paid from Ellen and not just given an opportunity to go on and perform and get known?
How is it lame? It's awesome. So why hate? Seriously could you thought of that idea? And how nerve racking it is to be on live television for the first time!
All the criticisim that I read, Jesus. Those are well known tricks that beginners learn, but he executes them very well. Even the part with his arm. Let me ask you one thing.. When have you ever seen someone on television getting more and more famous by executing basic tricks perfectly, that pretty much everybody knows, or at least every magician, that people learn, who are just starting? I doubt it is to make a fool out of him. Stop this stupid shit, it's only meant for entertainment
Ellen: "Do that again!" It's 11:30 on a school night and trying not to laugh to wake up the entire house. Oh and when she was sending him the card I nearly died😆😂
Am I the only one who doesn't know a thing about magic and am actually amazed by every RUclips video I've seen about it?
No Homie
+Bobby Sherman I do miss that.
+Bobby Sherman I know a lot and I'm still amazed. I can even see some of the tricks, but I'm still amazed by the skillfulness. For example the rubber band trick is obvious, but it's executed so smooth that is still amazing.
+AGEMO please elaborate
Jakub Szymaniak You see when he is pulling the bands to show he can "shoot her in her eye" and that the bands doesn't go through each other - that's the moment he switches his fingers and the small band flips and find itself on the other side. But I still enjoy watching it. Great execution.
"Do it again!!" "Do that thing again!!!" Hahaha Ellen really loves magic :))
+Trojan BackDoor.Flashback it's not a chin. It's like showing how big the smile is. The more ")"s, the bigger the smile. Sth like that.
+princessguardian Who doesn't like magic? haha
She is so cute! 😊
Those single moms in the audience laugh at any single word Ellen musters up
I thought I was the only one who noticed
It's because there is a screen telling them when to laugh, it's all scripted
+SAM thestopmotionman how do you know that?
To all the people saying "THIS ISN'T MAGIC!!!1!!!" Did you notice the part where it said he's an illusionist?
purls before swine Creative Consultant never said illusionist.
FUCK YOU ETHAN!!
+Hermann D. Ortega Bet you feel dumb
+안녕하세요 piff thats what they want you to think..like its not magic...but it actually is

Since this is my post, all your comments are getting deleted, because I can't be bothered with other humans on this day.
How do you delete other comments?
CallMeJonesy Psh, I wish. You offering?
Kaleb H Nice one!
Kaleb H haha as someone who is not gay; I had to laugh dude that was funny
I WAS COMPLETELY AMAZED BY EVERY SINGLE TRICK HE DID. NO MATTER HOW EASY IT IS OR HOW CLICHE IT IS. THIS GUY DID THE TRICKS JUST SO SMOOTHLY AND I LOVED IT
You are the kind of dumbass i hate
Antoine Badawi care to elaborate why?
he did simple effects
+Shikhanshu Agarwal yeah he just did double lifts, and at the end he forced the 7 of hearts
Yeah that's what it's about. This is not a fucking card trick competition or some elaborate magic geek show. ^^
illusnists>magicians
rusiru161
nice
His tricks are so basic and unoriginal. All his tricks he just copied off of other magicians.
Michael Silva You just said "His tricks are... unoriginal" while also saying "he just copied off of other magicians." What?
"Mhm ok mhm yep mhm mhm WOW! "
LOL i know xD
OK okay 😀😀
Lindsay Ashton
Got a little irritating
GOOD FUCKING GOD! Who cares HOW he did it? Do you HAVE to know and say "it's fake" when we already know it is? It is amazing and doesn't need to be explained, that's the charm. Let it be and don't try to ruin it just because you can't understand it!
***** i care....
***** People get into magic to learn how tricks are done, that's 90% the point of being a magician/illusionist.
+DjZenitSwe The real question is, why do you care that others care how he did it?
To all of the ignorant and jealous people constantly saying "He sucks he has no talent", or, "This guy is so unoriginal and I can do this and I'm 15", if you could, wouldn't you be on the show too? dont enrage the internet geniouses
its not that fact that the skills are easy. its the fact that they are not well executed. like the 2 obvious (to a magician) double lifts at the start
yea there just ass holes this guy was cool
gusdahlehhater if you can then why arent you on the show? btw have i told you about the time when i was 14 and traveled to mars??
Holy hell you're just as much of a hater as they are

stop saying it's fake. he's an illusionist. ofc it's fake.
It's like I'm seeing Dory (in human form) saying "do that again" 😂
Why is it that just about everyone in the comments suddenly become born magicians?
Silly, these are tricks you learn when you're bored af in math. I learned them all in about a week with less than an hours practice a day. I can sure as hell do them better than this guy.

Mario Marinić You don't need to practice this for years to get it down -.-
after someone pointed out that the guy used a clear sleeve for the last trick, i re-watched the part and saw the clear sleeve roll down . there's a reason why he's called an illusionist, not a magician. lol
That's one of his rubber bands rolling down on his wrist. Remember? He pulled rubber bands from that wrist, that's one of them.

the problem is that why can't we being amazed with his work rather than try finding solution or the tricks of it?
+Firsto Frado well thats stupid, why would i be amazed if i can do it ?
its hard to be amazed when you know what is he doing the whole time :|
+danial lau what is he doing

On god
LOVE ELLEN REACTION! ! Like a cute kid amazed. . too good!! good illusionist! !
Lol, what a lovely card force in the last trick. I know some of them but not all, he's very good :)
speebyda I think quite some people know what a card force is. But i just think that this one was very obvious but well executed.
And you can't make an argument without insulting. What has my english to do with it? I won't come back and answer you again, you sir are immature, If you understand what he does when he does it, it can make the trick even better.
Have a nice day
speebyda You need to relax. If this one comment can set you off like that, you need to consider anger management. That is by no means an insult.
Lol very good there all 7❤ that's y he didn't show the rest of the cards
This dudes on tv doing the things the magician at the Mexican restaurant does by my house for tips.. Lol
jack davis That restaurant guy needs a better agent.
Also, I'm sure he's better looking than the restaurant guy. How the World Works 101
Ellen sounds like a child "😆what r u gonna do now?" I LOVE IT
At 1:39 you see him flip the top card over and it's the king. He blew his own trick. He puts a king in your hand with misdirection and shows you a second King that's in the deck.
Well no one there saw that I guess
knew it was a trick deck... smh cheating the game isnt he?
not a trick deck, just simple tripple and double lift. basics of "magic"
+Vaganhope Gaming so how did he have a king of hearts in his hand when it was in women's hands? Maybe not a trick deck but perhaps a dupe card?
+IcySlime it had a king on top of a 2 and a dupe king under the 2
i like the part when he said "Oh good you did you research"
the first trick is actually david blaines trick.
Sr. Asnoman The sandwich trick that he did, That was David Blaine trick.
It's everyone's trick
Well you're right John. That's one of my favorite tricks to do in an intimate setting.
Lol just cuz u saw david blaine do it first that doesn't mean he invented it
+TheKeisari he actually shows the second king of hearts if you pay attention...
The real magic is how he supposedly drew the 7 of hearts with only a black sharpie.
The number of times she says 'mm hmm' is unreal.
I know Eric personally and he has one of the best minds in magic today. The effects he creates are original and amazing!
he's so good!
I see Ellen but hear dory
She's Dory
Lloyd Franklin love it😂
though the same thing
Geilson Neville I'm pretty sure Ellen does dory's voice
Anime Lover she does. Everybody knows that
Everything ellen says always makes people laugh, but then there's me. I tell me friends "Their cards." And they stare at me, but when ellen says "Their cards." People crack up. It's a whole different story when ellen says it, her voice just makes everyone smile.
The elastic band trick you can clearly see he switches fingers when he says he could shoot her in the face with it. Even slow the video down its soo obvious
Not the most charismatic dude but those tricks were impressive.
I love magicians that make old stuff better.
This guy is good. I think he needs to work on his "act" a bit. Maybe get a bit wittier or whatever. But he is very talented. Idk why people like to know how someone does a trick. I like not knowing. Once you know it cheapens it.

+phileagfan One you know the trick, and what it takes to pull it off, it makes it more impressive,
because as far as you're aware, this is all pre-staged with Ellen and possibly the audience if you don't know the process.
+Genes Its his first time on TV. He is a guy from youtube. Of course he is a bit awkward. Over time he will get use to it.
When he says "I can shoot you im the eye" he does something with the fingers and he did the same the second time.
it looks like he flips the rubber band
luke mc exactly
The trick happens when he slides the band from right to left, I'm not going to say exactly what's happening, you can search that for yourself :)
Joe Williams nope. when he pulls back and says "I can shoot you in the eye" he grabs the rubber band with his middle finger then slips his index finger back in causing the rubber band to be on the other side.
Joe Williams no thats not where the move happens. its after that.
This man did the rubber band trick 10 inches away from my face. It is unbelievable how illusions can work.
The thing I love is that I know where he makes each move, but he is so slick and fast it is hard to fathom how much practice it takes...
you can't say amateur magician without "copying david blaine's tricks"
😒
😒
😒
+SkizzlePiano david blane has no tricks.. loser.
this guy isn't a beginner, he has actually created very great illusions for ellusionist.com. Eric Ross isn't a copycat Either
These are tricks we've all seen performed one way or another, but the guy still has talent. I'd like to see original tricks from him.
He is just a Disturb Reality fan!
funny how much the 'double lift' can impress the average person.
Well... It does.
and it's a bad double lift oO
And it was extremely obvious, too.
My two favourite things in one video Ellen and Magic!
Are you people serious? Why do you have to ruin something as amazing as this? Just because "you can do it too". Well. I'm just guessing half the people that watched this, can't. So let us appreciate and be amazed by this guy.
good point

the more i watch the more i love this

I dare you to count how many times Ellen said mm hmm and okay or mm kay
hahaha oh my God I was thinking exactly that..
I LOVE it when she says "Oh come on!" Ellen makes a great audience!
At 6.00 it looks as if he's wearing some sort of transparent armwear, as you can kind of see the ends on his wrists.
But this guy is really impressive! Gotta learn me some illusion-making!
***** Hate to break it to you, but that's a rubber band.
+HoodedOracle no he has an arm colored sleve
the trick is a sleve the thing he saw was a rubber band
The only one that impressed me was the rubber band one cause the other ms are easy
And the drawing one that was impressive
The one where he said did the two rubber bands watch when he says, 'I could shoot you in the eye but I wouldn't do that' he used that to distract you and quickly move fingers to the other side, it's not 'magic' just illusion, the whole name of the game is to distract and do the unexpected
Uhm, that's why he's called an 'illusionist', hello?
Hate not the secret of the magic I know the secret
It's an incredible bit of sleight of hand though.
TonkarzOfSolSystem Meh, you can learn that bit in minutes, lol
mazemir1
Then why aren't you on Ellen?
That rubber band trick is pretty easy, i'm always doing it lol
He created none of those tricks and I cringed every time he said "I came up with something better". Dude don't lie on national television!
I don't know your channel, but I agree.
He said he made the tricks better not create them moron
He didn't make them better, these are all old tricks. They are literally available for purchase as they are.
Daniel Shields if you are on TV and want to promote your act would you say 'what am about to show you is an old trick I bought' or 'am about to show you something special '..
@slin, I'd come up with some fun story/patter about the trick rather than this crap
Watch as he makes tricks "butter".
Oh, man! I've learned just enough tricks to find this silly. I'm glad people here like it though. I thought I was redundant but not quite, this guy is on Ellen!
" My job is to take ideas and make things better " Please.. these are al old tricks.
I haven't seen a few. He also creates tricks for Ellusionist.com
+Sharp 07 i havent seen any of these, so nope
Peter Pan Rubber band one is old, the sandwich one is from David Blaine. The last one is probably from another famous magician
+Sharp 07 this video is also 5 years old so wtf...?
Old tricks that you can't do
all his tricks were so simple
He's sooooooooooooo nervous and awkward! I love it!
Basic magic shop tricks
ya
+Dan Letts from like the 80s lol...this was the worst
haha omg you killed me he's so idiot yepp regular tricks as well but the last trick that was with his hand it was really ridiculous out there 😂
+Dan Letts He used a Technic that its called double lift
+AJ Barrios oh you don't say? :o all of this was easy expect for the drawing on his arm. no idea how he did that.
Those tricks are all simple beginner tricks you find on RUclips
Lol yeah that first one takes no skill to do
+Sam Smooth yeah really easy ones
+Farah Kirmani he "want it" to make them better. Bitch please
Fuckers you people don't know what magic is, aren't every trick so simple once you know the secret.
Thats the problem of youtube, they reveal tricks which is strickly prohibited in magic.
Get the fuck out of youtube and grab some books.
Ellen is freaking hilarious! And this guy! Wow! God has truly blessed him! I hope he uses it for good!
BUTTER
The first one was done by David Blaine 20 years ago:/
Around 4:41 Ellen starts going crazy and just watching him like a hawk and just keeps saying "uhuh, ok, mmmhmm" xD I love you Ellen :D
They all start with showing her a deck and making her pick one...
He didn't have a red marker so how could he draw a 7 of hearts? Magic is so confusing and cool lol.
Yeah but if it is indeed his first appearance on tv with a whole audience. I can imagine that has quite a different impact.
I couldn't have said that better myself. But I would also add that these tricks are good, but not good enough to be on ellen!
Or she made him do it again because she was so amazed and wanted to see it done again?
the last trick is simple, he cuts the deck at the 7 of hearts because he knows where it is, or the whole deck is 7 of hearts, his hand has the 7 of hearts on it from before thats why he didnt show his sleeve, and he drew a little bit on it. when he wiped he removed the glue that was holding back the 7 of hearts and that is it. i think
good thinking there
Sounds about right
If the last trick is simple, make a video and show us...how simple it really is.
Well done :D (They aren't his tricks by the way, but he did really well performing them on national tv!)
Faker than porhub telling me there's singles in my area
Lmao
old joke. not funny anymore
W
+TrollBronze LOL xD
TrollBronze epic mennnnn epic
Spoiler Alert For The Curious:
Trick 1: He picked up two cards multiple times, giving the effect that the card jumped places, he also used 2 of the same card to make it appear as though he moved the card to Ellen's hand
Trick 2: He moved the band around and when he said "I can shoot you in the eye but I won't" he used his middle finger to switch the rubber band around the other one.
U need to stop.
Epcot lp I'm unstoppable...
xDickLess. Why do people have to give away magic secrets. ffs, kids these days.
Chasz Hodgson Hahaha "kids." Yup, you got me. And how you made fun of my name, yea that reminds me of kindergarten. And I'm the kid? Ur g00d. I did say "spoiler alert" so please direct your complaints to someone who gives a fuck.
The rubber band thing is literally the simplest of simple beginner tricks lol but everything else blew my mind haha
need to work on his acting
Once he develops his stage presence, he's gonna be recruited by Vegas for sure
There's no need to bitch about his double lifts or card force. If you guys are as good as you say you are, why aren't you on the show instead?
getting a tattoo !! that is commitment!!!
Duplicate king of heart.. doublelift... uh. ok
'i wanted to make it better'
Ellen's face the whole time: O_O do that again!
I want to see someone float right in front of Ellen.
THE ONLY TALENT IN THIS WHOLE SHOW IS ELLEN
Eric is a competent magician and - even though his tricks are fairly standard - he deserves credit for handling his first tv appearance well. As a working magician, I would give one piece of advice though - drop the 'I MAKE IDEAS BETTER' nonsense, since all of these tricks are somebody else's invention and it's not right to take credit for tricks invented by other people. In the magic community that kind of thing is one way to lose friends quickly. So Eric - if you're reading this - just stick with your growing skills, find other magicians for support, give credit where credit is due to others and make the most of opportunities like this. Good luck in your career.
this is not his orginal magic!!!
pinny lowy most people don't do original tricks
I learned most of these tricks when I was 12. I'm now 23. He has no originality. Just using old tricks.
***** Thank You
***** please he is on ellen cause she decided to promote old stupid tricks!
lol Yeah cause that makes a whole lot of sense.
i am not sucking anything! when i see bullshit i call it bullshit! you are stupid cause you like stupid tricks! ellen or tv has nothing to do with this!~
its true, he's not original. If you have actually followed magic (unlike ellen or anyone in that building) you would be able to tell that all of the tricks that he performed have been around for atleast 10 years or more. Sadly, david blaine has atleast 3 of em in his old 1990's tv show.
Even though it is not magic, my brain has just imploded.
His presence is what ruined the trick for me... or lack there of I suppose.
Delti Becker it was his first time on a talk show he was clearly nervous
Yes i replied 2 years later
This my first time
His voice makes me uncomfortable.
I love Ellen's reaction to the double card deck switch. "What" lol
all kindzz of double lifts..all kindzzzzzzz
what that 2 line tattoo means i have seen it in a few on guys though ???
www.reference.com/beauty-fashion/meaning-solid-black-armband-tattoos-ff3bf6053bd83fc2
Black armband tattoos take their roots from black cloth armbands traditionally worn as a sign of mourning.
Jeez, get over yourselves.
he seems bit nervous...
Coming from RUclips to having lots of cameras on you on live to can be a bit nerve gas for some people
haha! he has fisting lines.
Holy crap, that is incredible!
Now we are getting on television by doing old lame tricks?
So you guys knew the thing he is doing here are the equivalent of the behind the ear penny. They are THAT lame.
He's attractive. That's what matters and is nothing new.
I'll put smiley faces now to help ;-)
foundation or not...
These tricks are pretty old, and recycled. He didn't do anything original.
Except he created 2 of them..
vanish45 No actually he didnt create any of them, they are all old tricks.
vanish45 nah they are all old first one was David Blaine second was a preschooler
He didn't, BUTTTTTTTT he took them to another level lmfaooooo
***** Actually, nope. All of those tricks are old classics.
David Blain creates these tricks and everyone else repeats them and people are still amazed, now that's amazing.
None of these tricks are original. I'm 15 and I can do all of these.
I'm only 10 and I can do what a "Impressive Illusionist" can
steven gao
I am only 4 and can do all that and more
Steven Vanderheyden I'm able to do all this and more.. and i'm still inside my mommy belly
I'm my father and I made all of these
I-I-I I got nothing... sorry
Thank you. You summed up my argument.
shut the fuck up
Ellen: "Do that again!"
It's 11:30 on a school night and trying not to laugh to wake up the entire house. Oh and when she was sending him the card I nearly died😆😂
Chill haters lol
