Been researching budget friendy sprinklers and something that you can adjust to save water but also be easily adjustable. After watching your video I plan on picking this one up. Very detailed and well explained. Thank you for making my decision much easier!
Hi Lockon thank you for your kind words I’m glad the video helped you, I hope you subscribe and if you need any help let me know
Thank you for this video I just bought the sprinkler and had no clue how to use ...now I do bless you hope this works
Thanks Kay
@@TechMadeEzy I am excited to try it now TY
Great video for me, specially as a first time buyer for an adjustable sprinkler. You could also lay down brown paper bags to see where the water lands, but I didn't need at all for my understanding
Thanks No appreciate it, welcome to the channel I hope you subscribed
This is a wonderful product. I have used them for years. I just purchased 3 more this morning...lol I added a timer to them so I just kick back and let it do what it do...wife always want me to water her garden now it's automatically set. One day I will get the wifi kind so I can do everything from my phone...a little bit expensive right now.
Thanks SS hope you used my links to support the channel 👍🏼
Bad reviews on the blue tooth . Your phone has to be in range
That stinks Tony thanks for sharing
@@tonyholmes9024 thanks for the tip. Will rethink it now.
@@TechMadeEzy I wanted badly for the bluetooth timer to work too! I just brought the programable timer and it's working fine so far. Thank you for the video it!!The sprinkler is amazing as you described though!!
Thanks for demo i got one but wanted to make sure I was using it correctly. It wasn’t as far and wide as i hoped but now I figure it may be my water pressure or I need a shorter hose? 🤷🏾♀️🤭 I’ll give it another try! Thank you!
Thanks
Thanks for the vid. My order from Amazon - the melnor xt with the tripod was delivered today. Will test it out tomorrow.
My pleasure let me know how it goes a d thanks so much for watching Richmond
Very Interesting then traditional sprinkles I use for my garden and nursery.
Calvin thank you. I love the flexibility of these.
I just got my Melnor XT with the wide base. Looking forward to getting out in the yard.
I really like them they’re so easy to set up and they’re so adjustable. Thanks for watching MATTHEW stay in touch let me know how it goes
I am waiting for mine to arrive today.
Awesome thank you for your comment and for watching my video take a look at this one when you get a chance it's pretty interesting

One thing that helps with visibility is standing on the other side when the sun is shining towards the lens but not directly into the lens. The streams of water will light up and the views will be able to view the entire fan of water projecting and landing.
Thank you Bruce
"When you don't have a lot of money..." OMG, in Canada it is $50! :( I'll probably buy one, hoping it'll be good. Nice to see it in action in your vid. Thanks.
Hi Urbanmoon welcome to the channel 👍🏼 thanks for your comment, so far I’ve used these for 3 seasons not bad at all, love the size and how adjustable they are
UPDATE: I happened upon the identical sprinkler at Canadian Tire, made by their brand "Yarkworks" (possibly made by Melnor for them). It was on sale for $35, with the sled rather than a spike, and I am thoroughly impressed with the fine control in configuring its spray pattern, flow and adjustments. I have an additional flow control valve on the end of my hose to make it easier to snap on and off Gardena connectors, and I am mainly doing my adjustments with that and with the valve control on the sprinkler itself set at the lowest. I suspect, depending on a person's water pressure, mileage will vary with these adjustments. Overall, very happy with the purchase! Best sprinkler I've ever bought. Thanks, @Tech Made Easy for your review and demo, it really helped!
@@Urbanmoon Do you mind letting me know what the model is? I'm looking to grab one too from Can Tire if you say it's good!
@@Urbanmoon Can I ask how is it performing now?
Thanks
Thank you for this video! I bought two. :)
Hi Andrew let me know how it goes or if you have any questions.
Thanks, also bought two😂
Good demonstration of how to control water sprays. I ordered my sprinkler from Amazon. It came today with no instructions or manual. Thanks for creating this video. By the way, you mentioned you would leave some info about the hose you use. What's special about it?
Hi Paul thanks for watching, this is a old review I did but the hose I use is the FlexH20 love it
FlexH20 and AquaJoe Lightweight hoses thoughts
05:20 You could use sheets of paper weighted down to show the landing of the water. Well, in the beginning anyway.
Great video.
Hi Mike welcome to the channel thank you good idea
thank you so much, made it easy for me.
Thank you, appreciate that, that's why I love doing these videos.
I realize the width of the sprinkler spray at the origin is about 6" when adjusted to the minimum. What is the width as the spray fans out to it's arc furthest away from the sprinkler at the minimum setting? Also is there a standard measured increase in feet for every "click" as you approach the maximum width if clicking both sides equally throughout the entire "clicking" range measured at the area where the water lands on the lawn furthest away from the sprinkler. Great video by the way, your showing of the minimum width is definitely a selling point for me based on my particular front lawn layout as to keep the water on the grass and not on the paved areas.
I’m curious if you can speak to how narrow you can make it. I have a garden that’s about 7’x30’ centered between two houses (I live in an urban area and live in a duplex with downstairs neighbors that keep their windows open during the summer time). I want to set it on a timer to water the garden while I’m gone on vacation without getting my neighbor’s house and the windows downstairs all wet! I know wind might impact it, but with perfect conditions, can I pull that off?
Also thank you for such a good tutorial!! Very helpful!
Thanks Sam, minimum width wise about 5 inches but it still shoots up pretty high, even if you adjust the water flow down its still pretty high, you can adjust how much water you let him from your valve that can help also. Here is our Amazon link if you'd like to use it, sometimes the spike version isn't available, just select the options once you get to the page. Good luck

Helpful video! Thank you for all the tips. I have a four-way hose splitter. Any idea or suggestion for a multi-hose reel to store the hoses when not in use?
Thanks so much Denise, I wish I could find something, my hoses are everywhere.
Very helpful thanks
Thanks 🙏
Thank you Todd
I live in Minnesota and the city sprayed seed in-between the sidewalk and the curb so it's a 48" inch wide area then probably 30 to 40 long ...
But that flat plastic hose with the holes just doesn't seem to do it
Can you put this on the edge of your lawn, so it only goes forward and to the side, but not back? Or MUST this go in the middle of your lawn?
Hi Burzin welcome to the channel, I just went outside and did that test for you and Yes! It works, if you push one side up all the way it will only go forward! Hope that helps and hope you subscribe, let me know what you end up doing. Have a great day.
Canadian Tire YardWorks version is nearly if not identical to design and features. Probably all from the same manufacturer
Hi O S thanks for your feedback
Part 1 is NOT in the description
Sorry had issues w RUclips part 1 got removed, here is an updated one I recently did

How narrow can it go. I’d need it for a long and very narrow strip of grass.
5 inches but it shoots pretty high
@@TechMadeEzy You can adjust the amount of water pressure coming into it to get less height of spray.
Where is the link for the hose?
