If you haven't already, do the Wild Hunt, which like many of the other major monsters/characters in The Witcher has its origins in Eastern Europe. Failing that, go with Mer folk, they don't appear in any game (Vodyanoi aren't Mer folk but do sound Russian), so it'd be interesting to learn about them.
