The owl turned out great. I liked seeing the speeded up drawing process. I’m so sloooooow at drawing and I make so many errors and corrections… but who cares?! I don’t! 🤩🥳
Thank you so much, Shadow! Thanks for the feedback. I am slow at everything with lots of corrections too. Haha, yes I may be doing everything wrong and I'm finally ok with it. Lol. Thanks as always for being a lovely art friend. 💗
@ you’re welcome Stephanie! Art friends are very hard to come by (well they are in my neck of the woods), so we must all support each other on our art journey. ☺️❤️
That palette looks pretty nifty. I do like the six section pan holders. I kept them from another palette I didn’t like so much and they come in handy. However, I like that palette so I would probably keep it together. It’s a maybe for the future. The colors sure looked pigmented. How would you compare the paint quality to something like Pretty Excellent or other pretty good affordable watercolors? I have Pretty Excellent for my sketchbook but I might consider a change if the quality is comparable. Nice job on the owl!
Thanks, Rayne! The color quality is really good for the price, it's definitely a great value for those wanting 96 colors with a really cool palette. But, for watercolors alone the Pretty Excellent set is still better in my opinion. I hope that helps! Meeden has ceramic palettes and easels that are very high quality though. Thank you so much! 💗
Nice painting. Please advise what's the difference between this paint set and professional paint sets. Is this set chalky? Im new to paint sets and can't afford to spend on really expensive paint sets
Thank you!! This set is student grade, so it has filler ingredients that professional paint set don't include. I would say this a just for fun set. I wouldn't recommend it for you if you want to learn how to paint. If you want to learn, you really only need a few basic mixing colors. Everything else is mostly just for fun. I recommend starting the an essential mixing set of professional paints, that are the most affordable where you are located. I hope that helps! 💗
Being new to art in general, I like seeing the drawing process.
Thanks, I try to keep that in mind! 💗
