Rambo, John J. If you’re going to fold Quads then you shouldn’t be on the table. There are only two scenarios in which you would ever fold quads. When 3 of the same card is on board that is higher than yours or 4 card straight flushes. Even then you barely should fold in that situation, depending on the situation.... quads should never fold 99.999999999% of the time.
Greenwood could have found good reasons to fold his hand after Ivey went all-in, in my opinion. AQ/AJ/A8 offsuit were plausible hands, giving Ivey a full house. He would have played them exactly the same way he played his AA
1st play is quite an easy fold. With that all in shove. Full house probability with a set is there, dont even think about quads. well yeah. got pair on the board, flush is not going to be the nut hand anymore. If Greenwood got a boat there then its going to be huge cooler.
Short deck, 2,3,4, and 5 are not included in poker with short decks, also, in this particular kind of decks it's harder to do a Flush than a House, so Flush beats House.

Yeah, if only that had been a 10 instead of an 8, we'd have had another Quads Vs. Royal Flush hand, like that one during a WSOP event where Ray Romano was at the table.
i don't understand there are numerous hands that Greenwood was realistically losing to yes? AA, AQ, AJ, QQ, 88 and JJ - confuses me how the announcers say he's only losing to 2 hands? any of those hands make sense with a raise, a c-bet, a check and then the river as it was

@@stephanepetiet412 Low possibility to bluff. representing the nut flush? Greenwood has a blocker, he should know opp will not bluff as nut flush. Ivey can have 88/QQ/JJ and match the line ( bxb allin ).
@@SolarEclipse-l6y well greenwood likes to think his hand is disguised or underrepped there, so ivey might bluff a hand that greenwood knows is a bluff. When it comes down to the all in, greenwood had already put in so much money that he was too pot committed to fold. Its unfortunate. If it had been the other way around, where greenwood had KT and rivered the Royal flush, and ivey had quads, ivey would have gone bust the same way. Sometimes you just can't fold hands like that with the action like that
@@stephanepetiet412 I don't think so. It's almost impossible for AA quads vs a flush straight. If so, it's a real cooler. No right or wrong.
