Unless it's a concept album or orchestral piece, songs are usually arranged so there's some potential hits on both sides. You can see the extremes this is taken to with some. Cassettes of the Skynyrd album that has freebird fade out at the guitar solo because side A is over and restarts the song from about 30 seconds before that to open side B when rearranging the songs would have made things fit.
That pang of heartache when Y-O-U was one of your favorite bands but they technically broke up in 2009 so the website in the liner notes is now about their follow-up project Yacht Rock Revue which is still good but not as good as Y-O-U was.

The wait for this to get restocked has been about as agonizing as the wait for Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective. Maybe in the interim, they could release it on compact cassette, like how Strong Bad gave us the digitally remastered director's cut of Dangeresque 1: Dangeresque Too?
