Sorry to hear about your friend Jerry. Hope his recovery is going well. Air-vest and the SOS function probably saved his life. More and more riders I know are going the air-vest route.
Wishing him quick recovery! There is no substitute for a good quality gear. Not my problem, but I wish those knucklehead Harley riders and some sports bike riders could understand the importance of proper gear.
Terrible news about your friend Jerry - hope he recovers soon. I fully concur with all your comments about safety. Sadly, no matter the protective gear & other tech available the human being is not designed to come off motorcycles. After much thought I decided to stop riding earlier this year as I kind of got the fear. As much as I genuinely loved riding my motorcycle ( and I was careful & competent) I came to the conclusion I love my health / life better...
Thanks for the kind words, Gordo. It's always sad to hear when a long time rider hangs up their riding spurs, but always a good one to hear when they've done it at the right time for them. Only they can make that decision, so I solute you from stepping away from the gambling table while you are still ahead. I hope you'll still continue to comment and contribute to pay your knowledge forwards!
So unfortunate about your friend. Pray for a full recovery! ATGATT❤
ATGATT indeed.

What? I'm so sorry to hear that about Gerry! Hope he gets well soon!
He's home and on the mend. But it's going to take time before he's fit again.
Get well soon Gerry , hope you have a 💯% & speedy recovery.
He's really appreciating all the well wishes. Thank you for yours!
