Took me a while to find the specific verse I remember this was in the A side of music to be murdered by but I should have known it was in a song called no regrets. I finally found the line in the second verse. "And for any of those who may have come close to about dyin' And can't listen to a rose without cryin' For those who feel low like you're 'bout spiralin' But this is only for those who I'm inspirin'. "
I'm with you. I was on them for over 18 yrs. I've watched friends use and use harder substances, and I've lost more than I care to say. It's a tough subject, especially when you've experienced it first hand. The high of the emotion and the adrenaline or depression/anxiety I should say from the fall. You only know if you have been thru it and lived to tell. I was definitely lucky I was able to pull out of that life in time. Now I have 2 major blessings and reasons to stay away and keep my distance from that life and side of me. They're my heart and the major reason I'm still clean and sober today. Stay strong and know that no matter what, you're stronger than those demons will ever be!!
Suboxon has me and I can't seem to cut back. I would love to get help, but my Lil kids mom went crazy and left us 3 yrs ago, so it's hard for me to leave them
That proof line gets me all the time. You can really hear the pain in his voice. I watched this live and as soon as you said the song wouldn't get you I was like...oh just wait flawd lol great reaction
I was watching in the live, crying my eyes out and again here I am..... crying. Phenomenal writing. I've got 11 years clean and lost my sister to an accidentaI overdose 9 yrs ago and I know it could have easily have been me. One of the realest songs I've ever heard. This song overwhelms me with so much emotion. You can hear the conviction in his voice. Great reaction as always. Much love, guys. Proud of you! ❤
You know, when you guys started crying, you reminded me of these lyrics from his song 'NO REGRETS': "And for any of those who may have come close to about dyin' And can't listen to "Arose" without cryin' For those who feel low like you're 'bout spiralin' But this is only for those that I'm inspirin'"😅
Em brings out the emotions because you know him so well through his music. That’s how Em fans become Stans. An honest open and emotional relationship has been developed through the years with his fans through his music. Plus he’s the best rapper ever which helps.
The sample in the 2nd song is 'The Rose" sung by Bette Midler... hence "A Rose"... "Arose"... but its about him arising after his near miss with death. Dude cant even help himself with the wordplay even in track titles. Also... if you didnt know...Doody he was singing about is Proof. And yes, the bulk of Arose is as if he did die... a line near the end..."the last 4 minutes that is the song i would have sung to my daughters if i had made it to the hospital less than 2 hours later".
This song hits me every time. I’ve been on life support and recovered from fentanyl addiction 2 years ago. The feeling on the ventilator is exactly as I felt. This song hurts but also is healing.
Eminem is the goat and it ain't even close. Don't be ashamed of crying. I am telling you, this one hits home to many people, even people without a drug history.
I can't express how much I respect you for just letting it all out and put it out there. You cried, you were man enough to just take it and be honest. Respect.
I buzz off watching your eminem reactions👏👏Love to see people who appreciate how good Em is and the technical aspect of his rapping. Always about his Skill and not his ethnicity. Thank you both for the great words about the GOAT.
and Em is a such a master of Details , like when he said "Consider the last four minutes as the song I'da sang to my daughters" look at the time on the song , he says that literally when the song hits 4 minutes. MINDBLOWING
Watching brothers, friends & family fall like bowling pins + damn near dying myself for underestimating fentanyl patch ...EM turned my eyes into little toddlers with brand new boo boos😢 MASTER OF CRAFT
That’s how you know a song hits hard and it’s real when you can’t find a spot to pause and forget to react to it and just lay it play out best em writing for sure..
This is exactly why I watch and love your channel. Both of you guys, just seeing the raw emotion and feeling toward a subject I myself have experienced thru trials of my own, and friends, scratch that, family that didn't make it thru. This one brought tears to my eyes as well. Please keep up the great work and straight-up awesome and real reactions. I watch you guys every day and love all of the content you put out. Thank you for this one, it straight up hit me when I wasn't ready, but cemented at the same time why Em is the greatest in my opinion. Happy Thanksgiving to you both. And I hope that you both continue to be blessed on a daily basis. 💯
Bro I even cried to the reaction 😂😂😂 this song gets me every time. I’ve been watching your reactions to Em all day. This one made me sub. I know yall can feel the music when you cried.
I love how he bought the whole album full circle , the 1st line from walk on water is " why , are expectations so high ?" .. and the last line of the album is " now I know " .
yea when he over dosed the doctors said if he had come to the hospital any later he wouldnt have made it.. he was very close to dying. BTW this song gets me every time. like you said man the passion is insane from him.
reactions like y’all’s are why em does what he does… i would be willing to bet if he saw this video he would be touched with how much these songs affected y’all. he does this for US. he puts it all out there for US & people still want to shit on this man and say he doesn’t have any substance when he raps. great reaction, guys! 💕
Sitting in my car on my lunch break watching this and I have tears right with you.. Hits different when you’ve been through it like you said.. His emotion was so real.. Just an amazing piece of art.. He’s the 🐐
This hits even tho I haven't done drugs, I don't cry but I feel it and appreciate it. These aren't the only songs I get the same feelings from his music either. Headlights comes to mind.
Thank God you got to these 2 songs!! And trust me my appreciation for both of you has gotten way higher, because you didn't only listen to the song but felt it, it got to you and me as well. I may not be an addict, but I definitely know how it feels when life is leaving your body, and somehow you make it back.. and he totally got how it felt. Whoever says revival is shit, has never listened to these tracks
You two are my favorite, hands down. This is a hard song to listen to, and you did it justice. I know I cried the first time I heard it; the rawness of the concept, the delivery, the lines. Everything was about perfect. I never struggled with the addiction side of it, for me it was the parent lines as I just had a son at the time. This song can touch the heartstrings in so many different facets. Thank you for this one. Love from NH.
Eminem was in a state of dead/almost died. But they saved him just in time. And in the second song he tells you that he wouldn't overdose when he could rewind the tape but flush the stuff through the toilet.
I've watched this reaction so many times. You guys really are the goats of reactors. I watch so many reactors, but you guys are the realest and most in depth reactors. It's something else to see the way you really appreciate the artistry, and not in a fake over reacting type of way. You can tell that you do this because you love music and not for the views. And Flawd, you are an extremely talented rapper, I hope you get the recognition you deserve.
@arturobuitron6420 it's not the pop features , it's that the pop features are just not good songs, the weird Aryan trump hate shit just doesn't make any sense, I still can't figure out wtf his deal is with trump, and the curating is fucked. Most ppl the second the album starts want to change the station. It's not an album opener. He should fix it. Revival Remixed. 🤷♂️
We all had that reaction when we first heard it. It’s why people in the chat were saying to others to not ruin it. It’s a powerful song. Not just because it’s Em. It’s that, while he’s rapping about this moment in his life, and about people we all know as fans because of his music…in a way, it reminds us of our lives as well. The ups, downs, wins and losses. At least that’s what it did for me. You ain’t no bitch, Flawd. You just can appreciate life thru art.
And all the smooth brains say "Eminem doesn't rap about anything" lmao. When's the last time you heard a rap song that made 2 people cry on the first listen?
Love the reaction guys! Em is just an inspiration even when he just trying to speak out loud about his experience! Moves everyone every time, Eminem is my god.
to everybody here who's dealing with addiction or has someone next to you who's going through it: please be brave, keep fighting for life. take care of yourselves. help each other, love each other. have faith (no matter what religion you have) that everything'll be ok. i'm proud you or who you love for not giving up even at the worst times. you matter! to the ones sober, i'm proud of you all. keep doing it! we love you. you matter!
And these are the last two songs on revival so most people didn't get to them before trashing this album and thats just sad.. this album is amazing. Revival is so good
I've never been an addict but if you have any empathy this song will make you cry bcs he makes you feel how he felt. That is something not many people can do.

Castle & arose are soul piercing always brings tears to my eyes and gives me chills that’s why Ems the goat 🐐 he has many songs that truly connect to peoples hearts but this was Em spilling his own heart out to us in such a raw way It’s like I can feel Ems pain in my own veins. Iconic hiphop songs ❤
This shit hits so much harder if you have kiddos frf plus this was my mom's favorite she passed 3 years ago and that adds another layer for me cuts super deep
I’ve come back to this reaction, your demeanour changes, both of you, when arose gets going….. such a switch, so impactful. What writing and delivery to achieve that. Man, I feel it too every time I listen to that track. Em is goat
When these songs came out I was in Highschool and didnt follow his music very much. After experiencing an OD years later, I cant help but cry every time I hear this. Truly the definition of Art.
I will have 3 years sober in March. I was smoking fentanyl everyday for 4 years and that is after I was snorting oxys for 5. I died once and can still remember the after life. I will never go back to putting myself and my family through that. Great reaction. Glad to hear you made it past your addiction also.
Arose for me is just never ever going to be beaten for raw lyrical content. It’s pulls savagely on the heart strings. No one in the game like Em for making you feel his pain
AROSE is one of the saddest songs he's ever written and it gets me every time I listen to it. I wish I could stay away from it because it really makes me sad, but I keep going back to it because of how well this song was made.😢
_“And for any of those who_ _may have come close to_ _about dying_
_And can’t listen to _*_Arose_* _without crying”_ -Eminem

Real stans bruh
Took me a while to find the specific verse I remember this was in the A side of music to be murdered by but I should have known it was in a song called no regrets. I finally found the line in the second verse.

These two songs, in my opinion, are the most personal songs he's ever given us. Especially "Arose". That grief and pain his voice. Man!
Exactly!! I agree 100%
These 2 songs alone are y i always thought people were wrong wen they shitted on this album
And then he released a Temporary 😊
In an interview about these two songs, Eminem stated that he believed these two songs were among the best writing he’s ever done.
People trashed the whole album 😪😮💨 and wonder why he's mad after making a"bad album".. i'd be so pissed
He also said it's cuz people didn't listen to the whole thing and never got to these songs
I heard that interview but some people who actually heard revival and didn’t like it .. castle and arose was one of the few songs they love
The writing is undoubtedly phenomenal. Revival had some great tracks like these two, Believe, and Chloroseptic.
The 2nd half of revival is classic. Those 2 songs are up there with the best ever rap songs. People who didn't like this album have never known pain
Was addicted to pills for 17 years. Been clean for 14 months now. Song gets me every time 🇺🇸🙏
Stay strong
I'm with you. I was on them for over 18 yrs. I've watched friends use and use harder substances, and I've lost more than I care to say. Keith, you have to have the will to do it. I understand. It is hard, but little by little try, it will suck but you WILL get through it.
On the exact 4 minute mark of Arose, when he rewinds the tape to Castle, he says "consider the last 4 minutes as a song.."
High level details
It took me 7 years to understand it😂
That proof line gets me all the time. You can really hear the pain in his voice.
I watched this live and as soon as you said the song wouldn't get you I was like...oh just wait flawd lol great reaction
Me too brother PROOF IS FOR SURE PROUD
I was watching in the live, crying my eyes out and again here I am..... crying. Phenomenal writing. "The last 4 mins" is actually said at the 4min mark of the track, too 😮😋☺️🫠
His first sentence of the album were “Why are expectations so high?” His last sentence was “now I know” goated
This album will age just fine.
I already know this reaction is going to be good because these two songs are crazy good people still sleeping on them
I feel these 2 songs show how much hes grown
Nov.2024 - he should make video 4 these rn 2 go with temporary & somebody save me. 😢❤ ....probably has lots of leftover footage 🤷♂️
This guy is the greatest rapper of all time. Only time will show and tell.
One of the best written songs he ever wrote. And people prob didn’t even get to it bc everyone seemed to hate this project. What a shame
Just give it some time..
These songs together are amazing! So much of Ems catalog is SLEPT ON!
I can't express how much I respect you for just letting it all out and put it out there. You cried, you were man enough to just take it and be honest. Respect.
I can never listen to Castle & Arose without losing it 😭
When you really feel the music. I'm a recovering addict and I felt everything he said. Love the reactions.
I buzz off watching your eminem reactions👏👏Love to see people who appreciate how good Em is and the technical aspect of his rapping. Always about his Skill and not his ethnicity. Thank you both for the great words about the GOAT.
Yea meaux and flawed instantly became number reaction channel in my book
@@humanoidplague759 Eminem is the GOAT mate. He's a genius

Glad this one got done. Knew it would hit. Hits different when you been through it. I tear up every time I hear it because it makes me grateful.
When you listen to a artist for a long time and so relatable you feel like you really know him kinda
Arose is an amazing song, Em has always been an amazing at reality songs that hit close to the heart.
It’s so amazing how music has such a emotional feel to it it’s a passion only good artist can do
Watching brothers, friends & family fall like bowling pins + damn near dying myself for underestimating fentanyl patch ...EM turned my eyes into little toddlers with brand new boo boos😢 MASTER OF CRAFT

Best reaction to these songs I'm really really glad you guys found these two
I love how he bought the whole album full circle , the 1st line from walk on water is " why , are expectations so high ?" .. and the last line of the album is " now I know " .
In arose to tie into castle .. he says “now I know” but that’s a genius discovery idk if it was intentional but it made sense
I always cry when I listen to these songs lolol
yea when he over dosed the doctors said if he had come to the hospital any later he wouldnt have made it.. he was very close to dying. BTW this song gets me every time. like you said man the passion is insane from him.
This song came from his heart not his mouth.🔥💯😢❤️✌️
I hadn't listened to this song in forever, and for some reason it just hit me so hard. Haven't cried to a song before, but this one man...
reactions like y’all’s are why em does what he does… i would be willing to bet if he saw this video he would be touched with how much these songs affected y’all. he does this for US. he puts it all out there for US & people still want to shit on this man and say he doesn’t have any substance when he raps. great reaction, guys! 💕
It's shocking to me when people call Nas, Jay, Cole, Kendrick top tier story tellers and totally forget about Em
Man I’m watching this and crying so hard

Never thought I’d ever see the day I’d cry to an Eminem song!!!
I’m so happy to see you guys reacting to this one!! I’m one of the many who requested this! It’s an INCREDIBLE song! Y’all did amazing!!
this is my favorite type of Em .... love when he gets personal!
I haven't seen a reaction channel that doesn't cry to this song ♥️
U guys made me cry & I head this many times lol dope reaction ❤

Them lyrics hit hard 😢
You never not get emotional when hearing this.
Eminem was in a state of dead/almost died. But they saved him just in time. And in the second song he tells you that he wouldn't overdose when he could rewind the tape but flush the stuff through the toilet.
The percocet/ per cassette line is dope

Flawd got caught up and stopped pausing 😂😂😂😂
I don’t get why this album got so much hate. He poured his heart out on it
According to the people that hated this album it was due to the pop ft. I do think Em put his all into this album though.
@arturobuitron6420 it's not the pop features , it's that the pop features are just not good songs, the weird Aryan trump hate shit just doesn't make any sense, I still can't figure out wtf his deal is with trump, and the curating is fucked. Love the reaction guys!
Em is just an inspiration even when he just trying to speak out loud about his experience!
Moves everyone every time, Eminem is my god.
These songs are absolutely insane. His writing was crazy, and this song made me so emotional. Em is the only person who can make me cry during a song.
Revival starting line: “why, are expectations so high?”
Last revival line: “now i know”
to everybody here who's dealing with addiction or has someone next to you who's going through it: please be brave, keep fighting for life. take care of yourselves. help each other, love each other. have faith (no matter what religion you have) that everything'll be ok. i'm proud you or who you love for not giving up even at the worst times. you matter!
to the ones sober, i'm proud of you all. keep doing it! we love you. you matter!
Most genuine reaction I’ve seen to this song. It’s so beatifully written
And these are the last two songs on revival so most people didn't get to them before trashing this album and thats just sad.. this album is amazing. Revival is so good
The only reactions I watch come from these 2 lunatics. Great react as per usual.
💪🏾
Legit sincere reaction as usual. Respect to you both
im so glad you guys got to this one... fantastic reaction video
Thank you for doing this! Everytime i listed to these 2 songs back to back always chokes me up and tears me up
now you guys have to react to Eminem no regrets. He mentions a rose in that song. and keep up the good work you guys.
I know a lot of people like these tracks but most definitely us addicts(recovering or not) feel it the hardest and can relate to every bar!
I've never been an addict but if you have any empathy this song will make you cry bcs he makes you feel how he felt. That is something not many people can do.
This reaction is exactly why the publics reaction to Revival pissed him off! Love y'all!
these songs are what he meant in that "greatest" song/line, "you chumps don't
Even know how to do somethin'
To give goosebumps a day when you say
That somethin' you won't give someone a lump in their throat
If you had 'em choked up you'd be yankin' my chain",, at least in my view😅
Castle & arose are soul piercing always brings tears to my eyes and gives me chills that’s why Ems the goat 🐐 he has many songs that truly connect to peoples hearts but this was Em spilling his own heart out to us in such a raw way It’s like I can feel Ems pain in my own veins. Iconic hiphop songs ❤
And now he got to walk his daughter down the aisle...
I love you guys!!! Great reaction vid .. respect to you both 👏🏻🙌🏻
If anyone ever tells you Eminem "doesn't say anything" when he raps, play them these two songs.
And the background song sample in Arose is A Rose by Bette Middler. (Plus the sound of the breathing machine and heart monitor)
Em is goat
This is the sign of a real great artist, the raw emotion they can bring out of people
Em is time traveller.. he saved himself at the past 🤣
“Feel like I stumbled onto something, new”.
His original conception of shady. 🐐
Ive heard these songs together 30x and still get my eyes watering every time
Listen to Castle/Arose without shedding a tear challenge level impossible
The "nurses lean over the bed, pulling tubes out" scheme was crazy
When these songs came out I was in Highschool and didnt follow his music very much. After experiencing an OD years later, I cant help but cry every time I hear this. Truly the definition of Art.
This is why Em is the best. Nobody is as real as him
I will have 3 years sober in March. I was smoking fentanyl everyday for 4 years and that is after I was snorting oxys for 5. I died once and can still remember the after life. I will never go back to putting myself and my family through that. Great reaction. Glad to hear you made it past your addiction also.
Thank you for this one. Im a private person so I wont go into my stuff, but this was something I needed.
2 years sober from alcohol and this song hits me like a truck everytime.
If people say this kinda track is trash then their opinion on music is beyond irrelevant to me.
Yes. He was on his death bed. He was able to overcome the overdose. It's emotional because it's real and that's why it hits so hard. Great reaction!!
Its a very powerful .... very emotional song! He is the Greatest Storyteller!
" if i could rewind time like a tape [...] Or per cassette that i ate "
Cut down on the Valium/Volume, Ida heard everything but death is turning so deafening.."
Awesome, connecting to the per cassette/Percocet double
I was crying too when i listened to Arose😢😢😢
Arose for me is just never ever going to be beaten for raw lyrical content. It’s pulls savagely on the heart strings. No one in the game like Em for making you feel his pain
Thank you both for doing this correctly. This moment has so many meanings. Especially for those who’ve lived through it.
He made it to her wedding.
AROSE is one of the saddest songs he's ever written and it gets me every time I listen to it. I wish I could stay away from it because it really makes me sad, but I keep going back to it because of how well this song was made.😢
