how can people not say eminem is the greatest? he has everything a goat should have... he has lyrics, flows, cadences, storytelling...big hits, he has motivational, dark, funny and serious songs, he has sales, awards, longevity...he talks about problems that people has, whether they are white or black... he has a huge impact on culture, expanding it to new horizons... the true and only goat

Yeah, peoples favorites list is subjective to a large degree, but in all the ways we can measure a rapper, he’s the pinnacle or near the top of every category. Breath control, punchlines, metaphors, wordplay, homophones, etc

@@Stigmonushis breath control is massively underrated. His vocals never fade or hear a gasp. Nobody else does that. They just gotta swallow the pill man, he was born with every trait to do this and he’s done it. 25+ years and still perfecting his craft and is always humble and never content with his music. Dudes got a hunger that no one else had besides 2pac.
Relapse was hated on because of the accents. The lyricism is still fire. Paul Rosenberg said when he heard "Underground", he knew Eminem was back.

We Humans Don't just know change and people don't know how to appreciate new things at first it's now they are going back to it and seeing the gem they missed. Even bad rappers sell today so even if it didn't sell its one of the best work of Art created. the Accents, the Silliness.. Eminem expanded hop with his albums and brought about a new face of hip hop put people were not wise enough to receive or understand it. If this album came out Today it'll sell x100 of what is selling this days. He was way ahead of his time

I liked the accents personally and it helped him rhyme words that wouldn't necessarily rhyme together. It may also be that he didn't want to be slim Shady anymore and he forced the slim Shady persona

The album Em doesn't like and yet I'd make it top 4 or 5. The hook, the beat, the flow and word play on this track are awesome.
Love this album as well, I thought it was creative how he used the accents and I thought they were dope also the horrorcore type of songs he made were so sick.

This is one of the best things about this channel, you guys get an artist just being an artist. This was hip hop. He was just saying crazy off the wall shit but in such a technical way. I've always felt Em doing this got so much hate but then when he does have shit to say they hate too. When you reach those heights that's gonna happen and I get that, but it's refreshing to see people who get it and get the art form and the skill this actually takes instead of hating because it's trendy or for no real reason. Dude was just rapping. As an artist myself I prefer to do things like this rather than the same old shit over and over. I loce when you have sething to say but i wanna also see you get on a beat and just showcase your skills. Also this album was HEAVILY hated. You should do more songs from it. The craziest part is that these lyrics have actual meaning/message behind them, but nobody knows that. Relapse wasn't about serial killers at all (it was just the surface layer). All of those songs are allegories and probably every single bar is a reference to something that relates to Eminem's life. But everyone just thinks that he raps about random and crazy stuff. Many Eminem songs are the perfect example of the "tears of a clown" metaphor.

Its definitely my favorite album... its like you can feel the shit he went through with Proof.. when I first heard this Album I was like yo EM lost his mind.. its sick.. its beautiful.. Stay Wide Awake is still one of his greatest songs.. Deja Vu was amazing.. 3AM was insane.. this entire Album is like one great Horror piece of art.. Every time I hear Em saying this album is bad I'm like.. are you crazy ?? Its the one album since Encore with Feelings.. sick disgusting feelings but still..

Oh my lord what you both said on here was brilliant, as a Eminem fan since I was 9 years old, I listened back to front and learned to not take the hardcore stuff seriously, I know the difference between real life and music I've seen it in real life lol. As a rapper myself. I hold this guy as the unattainable bar. But I respect the craft because of how well he does it. I don't even care if I don't have 100 fans. Shit, one will do as long as it helps them. I have legit learned from Eminem you don't give up, you keep going and when you have a family you don't pussy out and run from responsibilitys. I'm not sure what else the world wants from a man jesus
The relapse album is one of my favorites. Eminem is back after a few years out over addiction issues and finding himself. The technical and creative levels on the album is a classic. Great reaction and respect from over here in Ireland.

His hole life is a motivation story, battling addiction and overcoming it, raising his daughter, loyalty, accepting responsibility in your life, being good at what you do strive to be the best in what you do and many more positive messages that has put out with his music.

It was Em that didn't like the Relapse album because of what he had to go through to make it. It was his first album back from the OD and he pretty much had to teach himself how to make music again. The fans absolutely loved this album. I cant remember what interview it is but he talks about it.
It's not just what he feels like rapping about...nor is it just what ever bad thing he could think of. It's the entire mindset while going through relapse. It's a fucking movie. It's a fucking look into what he's going thru getting to sobriety
