I love Ten’s dance style in this video! His dance style is often described as very fluid and water-like due to his flexibility and attention to detail down to his fingers.
Ten's had far more range out of the 3. They're all good, but for me Ten has the most artistry. He's just captivating, he makes me feel. He's an expressive story-teller and the master of interesting shapes and movements. Taemin inhabits his music. It's like he becomes the expression of a deep mental space within that needs physical expression to come out. Kai is a technician . . . clever but the emotive isn't as transferable to me. I also find that being a tall dancer affects his lines. Btw that music that Ten danced to I think was written especially for him and I'm pretty sure he is singing in parts of it.

I didn't know Ten before this, but he really impressed me. Taemin and Kai are two of my favorite dancers (along with Lay) and are insanely talented and both are one of a kind. Taemin exudes grace and Kai is the embodiment of expression, skill and discipline.
They're all good dancers ,ten,taemin and Kai ..but KAI makes me cry the way he dance my GOD he's so amazing you can feel his emotions through his dance he's really the GOD of Dance🙆🧏

I wouldn't say the first. Lee Joon from MBLAQ known for his modern dancing before EXO had debuted. But I will say that Kai did bring in even more exposure to the style from male idols in K-Pop.
@@DonKawaii1 and Kai is idol of idols. He was voted by 100 idols 3 years in a row as best kpop dancer. Even choreographers are intimidated by him as he dance their choreography better than them.
Kai was not the first to bring lyrical dancing to kpop, it was Lee Joon lol. Similar to Jimin, Kai is a great contemporary dancer though, but I would say that no one's dance styles in kpop are similar to his Taemin's, or Ten's. Ten's flow isn't something learned he just has it and there's definitely a reason why many idols aren't able to imitate Taemin's dancing, his musicality is insane.
@@whereisja naah i just don't like their style. Especially when they dance together the same choreography, i like Kai's style and body line, especially in the tiger choreography. I like the control and balance he has. He doesn't look like flailing around lol. I also like Lay's style and body movement in Lit. Even Krump founder Tight Eyez, was extremely surprised how good Lay was at Krump. And you don't need to repeat it, he already told me about Lee Joon. I can read.

I like Ten & Kai dance skills a lot, but I must admit Taemin has a very unique qualities combined : Stage presence, dance skills, excellent voice tone and good looking. It is rare to find all in one person. Usually, someone is good at dance or sing or visual/presence but not all combined like Taemin.

I'm always taken aback by everything Taemin does. He always does something different and continues to blow me away, especially along with the stage presence and command that he has. Just like you said, you can already tell it's Taemin just by his walk which is already iconic. Then comes Taemin's popping, which just gives me chills and leaves me speechless. I love how this video allowed them to showcase themselves in different ways because they are all extremely talented in their own way.
I agree with you Taemin’s stage presence is insane, it’s literally enough to see him stand in one of his signature poses or see him strut and you instantly know it’s him! I’ll never forget his walk during MAMA 2016 performance just before Sayonara Hitori - it was the most powerful, intimidating and sexy walk I’ve ever seen... And his performance here is so incredible, absolutely not something that anyone would expect from him - aggressive and super sharp, detailed dancing. But what can’t this man do...? My favorite dancer of all time along with MJ :)
Honestly, the first time I watched this video, I did not expect to see Taemin dancing like he was being electrocuted. I'm more familiar with his Move, Want, and Sayonara Hitori dance style. Hence, my shock! I love that Taemin found a way somehow to inject grace into that electrifying performance by just a mere circular movement of his finger. His gorgeous vocals, incredible dancing, and insane stage presence were what pulled me into KPop.
What a great showcase for these exceptional dancers. I hope SM continues to do this. Clearly Ten's martial arts training and Kai's modern dance practice enhances their interpretation of their choreography. Ten has amazing potential and, as Taemin observed, shows many colors. Kai's choreographer says he has been working with Kai since he was 15, and Door was the culmination of their collaboration. I really appreciated it that this was a space where he could choose what to wear and not have to show his body so much. Taemin's dance stood out for me because Once again he decided to bring something new perhaps even experimental to see how it would be received. I haven't heard his intentions for his movements but I kept feeling a big cat, especially the part where he is swiveling and clawing through the atmosphere (but I'm a cat person, which could explain that reaction). Again, I really love how Taemin allows the music to move him, animating and pulsating his instrument, down to his fingertips and through every strand of hair. Thank you for sharing your perspective on these excellent dancers.
I love this so much. How often do you get to see three phenomenal dancers perform like this? I watched this so many times when it came out, and I’ll admit I circled back to rewatch Kai every time. He’s such an elegant dancer, which I think is in part due to his impossibly long limbs (and, obviously, how he uses them) as well as his background in ballet.
Taemin is really the master of every type of dance. He was a popping master at 13 years old and was more of a hip hop dancer and he master all the others dance and even created the move trend.
For me, it's difficult to pick who's my favourite because each one of them showed different styles of dancing. Having said that, I agree with you about Taemin having such commanding stage presence. Just by looking at the way he walks, that already left a big impression on me.
ALL 3 of them are amazing! You are so right, each have different personalities the way they dance. But for some reason Kai moves me the way a singer moves me when singing.. I dont know if that makes sense. Its like Kai dances with so much emotion you can feel it in your bones. 😊

Here's a thought: Kai's dancing centers his movement from his shoulder blades, Ten from his wrists, Taemin from his abdomen. And by center, I mean "where does this movement fail if you change the part of the body that is grounding the silhouette?" or put another way... "where is the movement leading from and towards?"

Although you are into dance and not so much the music aspect of these reactions, out of all the dance mentor channels I watch I like you the best. Please keep doing what you're doing, it's great! I tend to favor dancers for their different styles, they all bring their own flavor and personalities to the stage. I really love Kai, he's different because of his ballet interpretive style and although you prefer hiphop, Kai's flowy style attracts me to him.
