5:49 they are the beginning of 3rd gen. B.A.P (January 26) is the first boy group that debuted in 2012, BtoB (April 3) is the 2nd, EXO (April 8) is the 3rd and Vixx (May 24) the 4th. 2012 was the year that 3rd Generation started. And they still the best boy group ever. Bap was the rookie monster that year while EXO was considered SM biggest disaster by netizens and the media. A year later EXO proved wrong becoming the most successful. 😊 I love the 4 groups, I'm a 2012 stan 😅
The Eve is great, every time I watch a dance workout I remember Kai's popular fancam, in fact that's what happens with Love Shot and Tempo he is always leaves too much of an impression ❤❤
Here is some information that might help you to understand the choreography for EXO's "Monster" better. All the pieces of the choreography were designed to help tell a story. So if you know what you are looking for you will see that each move is done for a very specific reason. Fun fact: At the end when they sing "creepin', creepin', creeping," the dance move they are doing is called The Creep, from the iconic 1990s American girl group TLC, which was created for TLC's song "Creep." So the choreographer added this dance move as a nod to a famous dance move from the '90s. As mentioned before, the X they make to represent EXO is only the beginning of the story in their choreography. Every move of the choreography has been designed to be an extension of their story and it uses elements of their dance to show several of the members using their powers. For example, D.O. has the power of super strength, so during his part in the song and choreography we see that he waves his hands and the other members are pushed away from him or pulled toward him. When we see Suho in the middle of the group and they have a hold of his arms, he rotates his body around like swirling water because Suho has the power to control water. Xiumin has the power to control snow/ice/frost, so during one part of the choreography we see that each of the members pause as if frozen as he moves in front of them. We see Kai slide backward and forward into the center of the group while waving his arms to represent him teleporting. And when Chanyeol jumps over Lay, Sehun and Xiumin, this could be him using his phoenix fire wings to fly, or it could be showing him leaping over flames because he has the power to control fire. Sehun's superpower is the ability to control wind, so during his parts, we see the other members shuffle around him as if they are creating a windstorm. And the part where they are sitting on the ground with their one knee in the air as they rotate is supposed to represent a sundial -- EXO gets their power from the eclipse and their powers are affected by planetary and solar phenomenon, so the sundial is meant to represent the passing of time and their connection to the sun.
There is also a series called Exo love Exo here on YT. It's all the ship combinations of the nine members. There is no overly romantic crap. Just friendship between them all.
If you like EXO's version of "The Eve," you should hear the English version of the song. "The Eve" was co-wrote and composed by Henry Lau from Super Junior-M and he sings a short demo version of the song in English. There is a clip of Henry in the recording studio singing the song you should see. Henry is the youngest member of Super Junior -- which is an SM Entertainment group, who are seniors to EXO -- and he is considered a music genius. The English version is less than 2 minutes long, but once you hear it you will understand why the choreo for this song was designed the way it is. 😁 (For example, I'm pretty sure the move where they cross their arms above their head is supposed to look like their wrists have been tied up. Yes, the undertone of the song is all about sexual innuendo. LOL) Henry is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian, so his first language is English. He recorded a demo of the song so everyone can hear the English lyrics that he wrote and get a feel for the original style of the song. But unfortunately, SM never had Henry record the full English version, which most listeners will agree is a shame, because Henry's vocals and the English lyrics would have made this song an even bigger hit than it already is. There is no MV for "The Eve" because it's a B-side track. After seeing the choreography, it would be pretty hard to imagine this song having an MV that would be acceptable for mainstream Korean audiences. LOL What kind of story do you think they would be telling in the MV while dancing like this? 😂 If you really want to see how to do the moves in "The Eve" choreography, check out episode 7 of the reality TV show The Devil Wears Jung Nam, where Kai teaches his boss, actor and fashion consultant Bae Jung Nam, the dance for "The Eve."
Hi Laken, whenever you are tired I dont think watching EXO dance is a good idea 😅. I recommend Kyungsoo's and Suho's LeeMujin service episodes.. always works to soothe my tired self or other contents like EXO's "No mic, no problem" (theres part 1 and 2) these videos are not short like dance practices but I find relaxing..well thats just me. Thank you for another EXO reaction. I appreciate and really enjoying your EXO reactions 😊❤
Sad thing about this is HOW the group Dance Practice videos (Official) are less than 15 only and most of the dance practice you will see here on RUclips are either leaked of their practice or re-uploaded *especially THAT “ooh la la la” dance practice. SM deleted the video and we don't know why they do it* ..... 😢
See. They all suck ya in which is why Baekhyun and D.O (and Taeyong from 127) are my husbands from afar and the rest of EXO are my side hubbies. It be like that sometimes lmao
Dance Practice Monster is the video my friend introduced to me for the first time, which was 8 years ago, Falling in love at first sight with Sehun, Stupid me, not trying to find out about EXO, I didn't even find out much about Sehun, You know how stupid I am, I love EXO in 2022, Even though 8 years ago the time when EXO was at the peak of his career, I liked them even when they were on hiatus, HOW STUPID I AM😭😭😭
