Instead of Shinobu I wished for Tighnari, and have him instead of her. Am I gotta say, I am not disappointed!! The extra Dendro effect is super fun. But then both Shinobu and Tighnari are both extremely fun characters to play as. But overall, I would have rather drawn Shinobu since Freminet works better with Electro as apposed to just more Dendro.
I mean theres literally no other way to do another physical character, unless you'd want another -xinyan- (or they add another feature to adjust/buff physical damage as a whole)
Tried 30 wishes for him but I'm not risking getting a useless constellation on Zhongli or Childe for him. Hopefully I'll get him some time in 4.1 or beyond.
as a forgotten mention: he is the 1st ever character that's constellation can increase his Normal Attack Talent by 3, making his max 13, or 14 if you have Tartaglia.
For extra shatter effect, full Blizzard set Cryo build is the best option if you read its elemental mastery bonus. The Burst and it's elemental skill relies on Cryo more than Physical.

It's better to experiment/experience it rather than looking at the guides. One last thing, look at his trial set at his character menu with Blizzard gear.

If the enemy ain't frozen, you're loosing 20% CR, and if the enemy doesn't have cryo on them (i.e. when you have electro to trigger superconduct to boost shatter), you're loosing another 20% CR. At this point Golden Troupe is just more consistent, even when on-field. Plus, trial builds are terrible baselines to depend on, HYV literally use 4pc NO on Albedo during his release. I must ask, why bring up Shatter to begin with? It's arguably the weakest reaction, and Freminet's A4 only uses it to increase his E damage for 5s, enough to ignore trigger shatter constantly.

I've been studying Chinese for quite a while and I understand why Dawei did push his pronunciation on Lynette, " ette " isn't something you find in Mandarin . So it's more understandable for them to have exaggerated sounds or letters that aren't pronounced. I'm pretty sure it's the same for japanese Voice Acting. On the other hand nothing is keeping an English speaker from not pronouncing a "T" even more when his name has been said quite a few times.

Freminet/ Shenhe / Mika c6 / an electro applier for a hybrid cryo and physical team, Kuki with tenacity and freedom sworn would help with his playstyle for maximize buff along with electro application Shenhe helps with physical builds a little but also adds flat cryo buff to his attacks would be a fun hybrid playstyle in my opinion
@@LeoWolf305 Pneuma and Ousia dmg are new gimmicks for Fontaine. Attack enemies with the opposite one to debuff them. All Fontaine characters will align with one of those. Traveler too. Lynette is an Ousia character with the purple energy. Lyney, Freminet, and Traveler are Pneuma with the light energy.
Been a Noelle main since forever. I got Freminet while trying to pull for another Noelle (missing her c6), now he's immediately become my 2nd main. Building him on a team with Raiden Shogun (for ezpz superconduct), Bennet and another Pyro (for dat 25% atk boost)
Fridge team is what I've been planning to play him in all along due to his unique physical hits plus periodic cryo application. Seemed perfect for shatter fridge.

I Like the way his elemental skill and burst work, it's fun to play characters who get combo mix-ups like that. He is still a physical dmg dealer and though I don't mind it, I cant deny its not as quick or efficient as elemental dmg dealers. Should I get him in the future, I'd like to try to build him and a freeze/shatter or mono cryo team since that what his kit leans toward and I genuinely just enjoy niche characters and teams anyway.
I'm so glad I chose to keep Snow-Tombed Starsilver as Freminet's dedicated weapon. The claymore hits hard as can be, and that icicle is suprising damage. I'm currently grinding to get it up to 5th Ascension, which is toooough! I'm on on 2, but man is it still worth it.
As much as I like physical comps, I thought that I'll get disappointed with him as I was with Mika but he really did surprised me with his shatter. Despite being a cryo character, he can break cryo shields fast with his shatter. Hyv did him good imo and his mechanic is fun to play. But of course, physical is still not part of the meta so it's understandable that many people won't appreciate what he can offer. I use him in a bloom-fridge team and he still performs well 👍

Assuming he deals damage more to shattered enemies.. it means he is a physical damage dealer against mobs/multiple enemies.. which complements Mika more.. For Eula..i dont think she is "desperate" for buff anyways.. because even before Mika..people be flexing Eula dealing 1 million burst damage already.. But then again..im actually waiting for another 5 star physical character instead of a 4 star.. As Eula is a more single-boss-centered unit..i want to see a multiple enemies physical nuker as well.. Will physical character sell well?..idk..but i do want to see it competing with others..
Eula main here. She does needs buff. She absolutely need a single unit that does phys dmg off-field, provide cc, battery, res shred and cc that is not anemo. 1 million damage in abyss is possible only in human enemies or anyone with less phys res.

@@popcornpotatooshe doesn’t really need any more res shred, between her own kit + super conduct, and especially if you have Rosaria C6, you can already hit amounts so high it’ll start having diminishing returns. Eula’s damage output and enemy resistances are not the problem whatsoever. Grouping and inability to break most elemental shields are really the only things holding her back and are not really nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Is she super top tier meta? No, but she’s a still an overall strong character and really not that reliant on a buff.
@@leovu8500it can work, but according to his passive he can't get the third stack because you can trigger only two different hydro reactions, unless you bring a fourth element like for example zhongli. Also, Neuvi's hydro app is not that great so running two electro or two dendro will probably overtake hydro and trigger non/hydro reactions

@@Noctis2525 Of course, but you still get synergies. You get frozen/shatter synergies, which freminet works well with shatter for his A4 C4 and C6, and you get superconduct with kuki. You could put those in many teams, but i was just pointing out the synergies here.

Physical really needs aomething for it, even if it is thr first-ever non-anemo grouping CC, cause unfortuantely, physical only has one route to take to amplify its damage and its superconduct, else you rely a kit to be good enough to compliment it

I would like to point out the wording on Freminet says he does Pneuma damage not Ousia though they may act the same functionally right now not sure. However, in the current puzzle mechanics Ousia is essentially dark energy where Pneuma is light. I come to that conclusion because of the orbs color scheme. There is a difference puzzle wise though like two sides of the same coin. I take it as different forms of the same power source. Right now there isn't much to go on with the damage. What it leads me to wonder is if there will not be a difference later on as they flush out these damage mechanics. What I mean is if some enemies will require Ousia where some may require Pneuma. This I will admit is highly speculative on my part. Even if speculation I have to wonder if there isn't going to be something more involved with the two types.
Great vid, but would’ve been nice for you not to just lump into a hyperbloom team. This doesn’t showcase Freminet at all, you should’ve shown him in a standard shatter/superconduct team to get a true idea of his strength.

It’s basically a Kuki Shinobu showcase triggering reactions while Freminet presses buttons. Virtually any other character could swap with Freminet in that team. As Eula is a more single-boss-centered unit..i want to see a multiple enemies physical nuker as well..

Eula main here. She does needs buff. She absolutely need a single unit that does phys dmg off-field, provide cc, battery, res shred and cc that is not anemo. 1 million damage in abyss is possible only in human enemies or anyone with less phys res.

Physical team is still limited as not many characters released. If theres any its just a mix and match of electro/cryo units so far
@@popcornpotatooshe doesn’t really need any more res shred, between her own kit + super conduct, and especially if you have Rosaria C6, you can already hit amounts so high it’ll start having diminishing returns.
Eula’s damage output and enemy resistances are not the problem whatsoever.
Grouping and inability to break most elemental shields are really the only things holding her back and are not really nearly as bad as people make it out to be.
Is she super top tier meta? No, but she’s a still an overall strong character and really not that reliant on a buff.

@@leovu8500it can work, but according to his passive he can't get the third stack because you can trigger only two different hydro reactions, unless you bring a fourth element like for example zhongli. Also, Neuvi's hydro app is not that great so running two electro or two dendro will probably overtake hydro and trigger non/hydro reactions

I only got him at C0 (I don't want any of the current 5*, and I only got him at 73 pity), so I have to cross my fingers that I'll get him on the standard banner next patch or whenever he reruns, I still need to build him more but he's pretty satisfying !

Tldr, causing a shatter reaction increases his E damage by a duration. Do NOT build EM for Shatter.

To be fair you could put anyone with Nahida/Yelan/Kuki and wreck.
@@Noctis2525 Of course, but you still get synergies. You get frozen/shatter synergies, which freminet works well with shatter for his A4 C4 and C6, and you get superconduct with kuki. You could put those in many teams, but i was just pointing out the synergies here.

@@zettonhz those are some shallow ass comparisions. First of all, so many bursts change appearances, and changing skills is not a thing, cooldown reductions are also dime a dozen.
Also yeah most on field dps....need to be on field...to maximize their damage. From your logic, kokomi is also similar to wriothsly then? And xiao too...anddd raiden and itto and noelle and razor and freminet and dehya and I can go on and on.

Well... that's still incorrect, the proper pronunciation would be "Fre-mi-ne". The end is like Lyney's VA, but you ignore the "y".

Physical really needs aomething for it, even if it is thr first-ever non-anemo grouping CC, cause unfortuantely, physical only has one route to take to amplify its damage and its superconduct, else you rely a kit to be good enough to compliment it

I would like to point out the wording on Freminet says he does Pneuma damage not Ousia though they may act the same functionally right now not sure. However, in the current puzzle mechanics Ousia is essentially dark energy where Pneuma is light. I come to that conclusion because of the orbs color scheme. There is a difference puzzle wise though like two sides of the same coin. I take it as different forms of the same power source. Right now there isn't much to go on with the damage. What it leads me to wonder is if there will not be a difference later on as they flush out these damage mechanics. What I mean is if some enemies will require Ousia where some may require Pneuma. This I will admit is highly speculative on my part. Even if speculation I have to wonder if there isn't going to be something more involved with the two types.
The fact that he alone at C0 does better damage than dehya is atrocious! Mihoyo really fucked her up

Great vid, but would’ve been nice for you not to just lump into a hyperbloom team. This doesn’t showcase Freminet at all, you should’ve shown him in a standard shatter/superconduct team to get a true idea of his strength.
Literally fridge team triggers superconduct all the time.
@@brandonguffey5959 yeah, but I’m saying the showcase is showing how strong hyperbloom is, not how strong Freminet is. It’s basically a Kuki Shinobu showcase triggering reactions while Freminet presses buttons. Virtually any other character could swap with Freminet in that team. It’s like doing a Raiden showcase where she’s just an EM bot.
