This beautiful solo is based on an original song by Lee Fisher which was written for Britain's Got Talent star Charlie Green. In 2009 tenor horn virtuoso Sheona White commissioned Andrew Wainwright to arrange a version for tenor horn with brass band, and it is now available here with piano accompaniment.

In the US, this is called an E-flat alto horn or altonium. She has excellent mastery of it. I'd love to hear this on an alto trombone. Plays in the same pitch.

I see that this was posted (and, I assume, made) two years ago while the COVID pandemic had many people holed up at home. Looks and sounds as if Ms. Evans used the isolation to her advantage, practicing and perfecting her playing. It's lovely, absolutely perfect. Her tone is so centered and focused. In the US, we don't hear much tenor (or alto) horn. It would be excellent to hear this live. A few good things, it turns out, came out of the world wide plague. Thank you, Ms. Evans

Superb tenor horn playing..... but why not accompany with a proper acoustic grand? I'd love to hear it recorded THIS way.
Because the purpose of the video is to demonstrate the backing track that comes with the solo. However BrookWright have since released a much improved backing track using the sounds of a real grand piano.
I've never heard of a Tenor Horn. So we are just making up instruments now?
@@Phoenixspin it’s a brass band instrument. In the US it’s known as an alto horn but in the UK tenor horn.

The piano backing isn’t a real player, it’s a midi file. But since this video was released a new much improved piano backing track is available with the sheet music download.
