Chaff grenades are really useful and are only used for AI Boss Fights, Also you unlock Support strike markers their the same as the ones you use to call in supplies however support strikes are air strikes and their so useful against the boss fights except the chrysalis and helicopters. The Carl Gusta is a very powerful rocket launcher you’ll definitely want to have that against peace Walker. I don’t remember but you can use the d pads or L & R probably to change songs in the walk man menu when your using it in a mission. Curry,soda,chips are like rations so if you any of those when your rations run out don’t panic just equip one of those. One more thing I know you try to minimize your inventory how much you carry to make your weight light but trust me it doesn’t matter especially after peace Walker boss fight it doesn’t matter you will need all the best items you need to complete missions and boss fights. Calling In The Night is the main theme song from Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops for the psp. Beyond The Bounce is unlocked after you upgrade the Walkman and that song is the main theme song of Zone Enders The Second Runner For PS2 or PS4 remastered version.

Don't forget you can visualize items and weapons in 3D from the R&D menu, using Triangle. It's often accompanied by a wall of text giving more historical details or references. Same thing with female characters like Amanda, Cécile and Paz in the Staff menu, for some reason... For example you can look at every version of the Walkman, and (IIRC) manually decrease its rank to have a detailed story of each version (cassette player, then a more portable version with a mic, then a CD player...etc)

Now that we have AI in real life this game makes even more sense. The pods have units that handle the operation of different parts, same way we have to download differently trained models for chat generation, image generation, image generation in a certain style, etc etc. So bascially every part you take is an AI model trained to handle each part of the system, all connected into a general AI. Kojima is a genius.
Fun fact, if you go underneath the Cocoon, it can try and crush you, but you can bench press your way out of it. Yes, Snake can lift a mech that weighs thousands of tons.

I mentioned it before in a previous video but in case you missed it: If you want a part of the AI weapons, you have to damage it a bit so that it is unlocked, if you damage it completely it will be destroyed and if you don't damage it at all it will be locked. 35:54 a talking cat huh🤔
Yeah so if you want those colored boards, you need to shoot everything but the AI Pod. And if you want the actual parts, you need to focus on the AI Pod. Side note, and this took me a long time to find out, when you defeat an AI weapon it'll start saying "Oops, I guess I died." Really fun detail.
