yeah, same. was holding off on deciding between the G16 and M16, but not sure it's necessary now. though the Alienware m16 looks good too - and their long-term customer service is killer (Dell sent me a replacement XPS after I dropped it 3 stories 4 years after buying it. yeah, the warranty was that long)
So I am planning to get rid of my lenovo legion 5 pro 2021 model with rtx 3060 and get one of the either 16 or 14 inch asus zephyrus m series mentioned in the video because I dont play games that much now and mostly code. Any suggestions? I am not satisfied with the battery life of my legion which is still great (5+hrs) but it is very bulky (2.5kg + 0.5kg charger)
I lost faith in asus. I bought a zephyrus m16 on black Friday, had problems with the keyboard not lightning up, and the laptop not turning on unless it was plugged in. Took it back to best buy, exchanged it for a new one, same model. Worked fine for the first week, then it stopped turning on. Had to return that one too.
doubt it, given that it's smaller. this could only happen because the new intel processor is far more efficient than last year's model. the question is whether that is offset by the much smaller size.
This ASUS - ROG partnership has never failed to impress everyone with their smartphone and laptop creations! And that stays true with the launch of the new Zephyrus G14 and G16 laptops!
i think is a waste with a 4090 in that small body you don’t get full wattage and the current chip manufacturing process,it’s impossible to lower the heat exhaustion so if you really want the performance get the 16
Finally companies are creating gaming computers designed for adults. Not those flashy horrible multicolored toys that are everywhere.
But it’s as expensive as MacBook now for a max 3 year device (oled burn in
Omen?
@@HATCH5T nobody has it tho. Idk why
I’m very glad they decided to create laptops with simple design unlike the ones that look like starships
That Silver G16 is probably my new laptop soon (if it's really a lot cheaper than a Razer).

@thedude2596 Facts
They say 3k+ dollars. Ehh
Damn, I just bought 2023 G14 Friday.
Really unlucky 😢
Hopefully you can get a refund
you cant upgrade the ram on the new one
New one will cost 2x as much. You're fine😊
You made the right decision. This is a downgrade.
5:23 that Mini-LED
HP Omen Transcend 14 OR ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 ?
Do you know anything about the ASUS ROG Flow Z13/14 series?
I was about to buy one, lol. Glad I waited.
Big mistake. The 2023 is better.
@@tom_foolery93It really depends on your preferences - personally, this new model is a huge upgrade because of the thinner design.
@@TheOnlyName You're just going to have major overheating issues
@@jamesthomson13 You can't be so sure yet, I'm going to wait for more reviews to come out which have done more extensive testing.
Do you recommend the g14 for the 3k pixels or the g16 for the 16 inch but a 2.5k pixels?

How many Hrrz refresh rate?
i have have the 2023 one with ryzen 9 and rtx 4060 and i fine with it no need to upgrade now
The media buttons above the keyboards look so off. Would have been the perfect macbook look a like without them. Same for the power button
This company finds it really difficult to not make their laptops look ugly. why the random lie in the middle. ! inside looks great though
how much are we talking?
let's hope thermals is improved

I Hope you always believe in the path you have chosen😍🌹💝
G16 should have 4k Oled Display!

I love my zephyrus so much
Now, remove the republic of gamers logo on the lid. I never liked that...
WILL BUY THE G16 OVER THE NEW DELL XPS 16 ANYDAY!
I was hoping that all laptops would be charged via USB C
I know people want simpler designs but something about these are just really off putting
With all due respect, your microphone sounds kinda bad in this video
Too bad there’s no 4090 on g14 😢

Better than that eyeball :\
I need
Remove the ROG logo and change the font on the keys. Also, NO laptop should have a proprietary charger now, must have usb-c
These are a side-grade. Totally skip it this year, see if next year upgrades performance.
Soldered components in a gaming laptop? Fkn delusional…
