She handled very well. But most importantly we spent much of the day fine tuning and testing things out, and learning all about her. One of the joys of taking on a new boat! Even more lovely to do that with my Dad :) thanks so much for watching.
Nice boat, and brave crew to take her out in those winds. Hey Kids Afloat Crew, if you'd like to sail a Flying Fifteen while you are up here reach out, I have a club outing on Sunday at Sandgate.
The smile on the skipper's face says it all. :)
Doesn’t it?! It was so lovely seeing him so very happy. It was an ever expanding grin.
Lovely boat and great sailing conditions. It looks like you had a blast.
Keep the videos coming. Lots of people really look forward to them
Thank you, especially for saying that. It’s really kind :) and thanks for watching!
She’s a lovely little ship, beautifully set up and ably handled by skipper and crew! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy the rest of your time up here!

Lovely boat. I used to live aboard at Raby Bay beaches. Top spot!
That’s a great place to have a boat! How long were you there for? Thanks for watching :)
Well done. I enjoyed the video.
Thank you!
This is editing is very sleek and cool
Thank you! Did you see Gene swimming with the dogs? He was in there all day!

I like the telltale on top of the stem. Definitely have to steal that idea, thanks!
@@damoog5985 it’s really cute and simple - it just sticks into the hole.
Any idea how many knots Rosie was doin, looked really fast for a displacement hull.
Great video👍
A lot! But no, we didn’t check. It was a bit too wet to get the phone out safely!
Lovely video, does the rudder have to be detached to use out board motor?
I had a Tammie Norrie. You will get around 5 - 6 knots max.
Hi,has the transom got a cut out for the outboard motor.
Can the rudder be used successfully without fouling on the motor?
The transom had a flat section one side for the outboard. The electric outboard did not foul on the rudder. Thanks for watching!
Nice! Currently building an Oughtred Auk dinghy.
That’s very exciting. Have you built a boat before?
Very nice!
Thank you! Have you sailed one before?
